if you have not yet sorted this problem you can re root with cf-root. http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/
hello everybody, i wanna know, is there an official rom for the lastest samsung firmware avalible for the i747? i dont want to root the phone, so thats my problem, can i update the phone SAFELY without root? if so, it will be great if someoone give me a link or/and tutorial xD

Hi guys can anyone help unlock my globe philippines locked note 2 running on 4.4 kitkat
the unlock code thing only works for 4.1.1
question
1) do i need to download the whole rom and downgrade to 4.1.1
2) if successful if i update to 4.4 again will it be simlocked again
3) is there an easy way around? i read somewhere to download only the modem but im not familiar with that

1what is the best way to root it and stay with unlock bootloader?
2how can i install custom recovery?

Well first of on what firmware are you on? From what I know only v108 KK can be rooted without unlocking bootloader. As for custom recovery look for Nut's recovery for z1c here http://nut.xperia-files.com/

it was supposed to have the phone in my hands today,but it will arrrive tomorrow,
so i don t know the firmware(i only know that it will run android 4.3 out of the box)
but thanks for helping,i ll update probably tomorrow(if i don t manage rooting it continuing reading the forum)

It will probably be on KitKat version. You can follow the guide from here to root KitKat and maintain root on Lollipop.
or use pc companion and update os. After root and install recovery new releases.

but if i update OS will bring me in lollipop and from what i read here lollipop can not be rooted at the moment
my firmware is 14.4.A.0.157 ,android verson 4.4.4 and i did not suceed to root as posted above.
anyone knows another way?

don't rooted .157 ?
you flashed .108 kernel and use doomlord easyroot. After 157 kernel flashed. Root ok
ok,downloaded flashtool and installed drivers,now what to root?flash .108 and root?
and can any one point me to a link?

EDIT:finally i did root,recovery,backed up TA files,thanks to all.
