Something I want to know the new bootloader

A question friends, before taking the last step
I have a Roger I747M with bootloader and modem I747MVLDMF1 with v5 version of MIUI android 4.2.2, now the next thing is, I can update the bootloader to the latest version and still use the rom I have?
It keeps the recovery TWR working?
I can still install custom rom
I hope you can help me solve my doubts.

Well I have install the last bootloader and last modem and all be work ok, recovery and the same rom , I hope this can help to someone

It always give error 7 and talk about d2att wrong...
Someone could explain me how to install this beautiful ROM please.

How are you trying to install it? Did you go to the official MIUM website?

Before installing custom ROMs, please do your research thoroughly and be sure you know what you're doing as there is no easier way to brick or backdoor your phone.

Are you using a up-to-date recovery?

I tried with CWM...and now i'm using philz_touch_6.07.9-d2att.tar.
There isn't any official MIUI ROMS for my device : SGH-i747m
i tried a lot custom roms before and all work but i'm not able to install miui using porting roms.
it always give me error 7
i tried to install an old miui rom and work...but i can't take any photo.... it says " can't connect to camera.... error camera "
before, i had a Galaxy S2 International and worked perfectly with MIUI v5.

i finaly be able to install it by modifier gprop d2att.
so i have a new problem...i can't get the camera works in every rom i tried...

[Q] downgrade from kitkat to jellybean

Anyone i need help. i have s4 mini 19190. before i used jellybean and after kitkat release for my s4 mini i think jelly bean is more better than kitkat.. since use kitkat my Sd card now cannot readable and writeable.. and now i wanna downgrade to jellybean.. but i try to flash it from Odin its always failed.. so how to figure out? and how to make me can downgrade?
anyone please help me.. i need advice and guide..

you need to delete the bootloader file from the package, but i'm not sure how it's really made, i hope somebody other knows

UN-ROOT and back to stock?

Hi,
I want to root my
LG G3
Model D855
FW: V10i-ISR-XX
Base: KVT49L.A1408602401
If I want to go back to that.. How can I do this? I didn't see my model at the KDZ files list..
1. Can I flash the stock (Any) and from LG PC Suite Change to ISRAEL and Flash the FW? (So back to ISRAEL stock FW as above?)
2. Is there an issue or trails / tracks of root after flash? such as KNOX on Samsung?
** Which root method do you recommend?
is it possible only to unroot the device without complete lose of data and ROM flash?

What is the meaning of all the letters? LG is very new to me on flashing FWs.. and I'm not a newbie about it at all..
And which one do I need?
I supose that this is the file that can flash the phone and "Un-Root" it.. right?

You'll have to do some reading on your part, as I have a different model and I'm not familiar with yours. You should be able to flash the stock FW through the lg update tool and that should revert you back to unrooted stock.

I'm assuming you mean is there any evidence left that you were rooted? A simple google search lead me in the right direction, you might want to try that next time before creating a new thread on the same topic.

1. Use the search option before making new threads, like the person above said.
2. You should consider thanking the people in the above posts who took the pain of replying to you, though they could have scrolled on.

Root on Lollipop

Hey there, i am running official lollipop on my G3...is there some way to root my phone?. or else, any guide to revert at 4.4 kitkat and then root it? thnx

1what is the best way to root it and stay with unlock bootloader?

Well first of on what firmware are you on? From what I know only v108 KK can be rooted without unlocking bootloader. As for custom recovery look for Nut's recovery for z1c here http://nut.xperia-files.com/

it was supposed to have the phone in my hands today,but it will arrrive tomorrow,
so i don t know the firmware(i only know that it will run android 4.3 out of the box)
but thanks for helping,i ll update probably tomorrow(if i don t manage rooting it continuing reading the forum)

It will probably be on KitKat version. You can follow the guide from here to root KitKat and maintain root on Lollipop.

or use pc companion and update os. After root and install recovery new releases.

but if i update OS will bring me in lollipop and from what i read here lollipop can not be rooted at the moment
my firmware is 14.4.A.0.157 ,android verson 4.4.4 and i did not suceed to root as posted above.
anyone knows another way?

don't rooted .157 ?
you flashed .108 kernel and use doomlord easyroot. After 157 kernel flashed. Root ok

ok,downloaded flashtool and installed drivers,now what to root?flash .108 and root?
and can any one point me to a link?

EDIT:finally i did root,recovery,backed up TA files,thanks to all.
