[Q] Trouble at Baseband Version I8160

please help me. when I downgraded my phone to GB then upgraded to JB, the baseband version of my phone still not changed the baseband version of my phone is still not changed, because the baseband version still DXMA1 (GB) can not install any ROM
well am instal any ROM handphone lose signal and sim card eror because my phone baseband version unknown

[Q] variant version detected. ota fails

I installed Indian stock Rom in my HTC desire 816w dual SIM provided in this forum. I. got ota but wen I update it's says variant version detected. My current version 1.50.720.3 and I want to update to 1.52.720.1. It's Chinese handset . Thanks in advance. I also have problem on moving files from Internal storage to sd card. Help with that also. Finally my BlinkFeed contents are Chinese. How to get English version

HTC Desire 816 Dual Sim Indian Variant Baseband Version & IMEI Null (NO SIM)

Hello,
As i am new to this forum and i am not sure that this will be replied. Still here is a little problem. Couple of months back my small brother bought HTC Desire 816 Dual sim Indian Variant (Qualcomm) phone which Cellular network was not working. Going deep in problems i came to find out that it has baseband version was unknown & IMEI was null. Some sites on google told flashing wrong ROM can cause this problem so find good ROM and Flash it. I Unlocked bootloader flashed custom ROM(Cynogenmod Nightly) via TWRP recovery. Still same problem. I tried that indian backup file tried different ROM but none helped. And yes when i tried to flash kitkat or lolipop or Marshmellow the phone just keeps restarting. Now i am using resurection Remix rom.

No service but detect sim card

Hello,
sorry for my bad english.
After update my phone to 6.0.1, i lose service but the sim card is detected.
Here is my phone information:
-model: huawei rio-l01
-build number: rio-l01c02b340

Same problem here, just got theis Huawei G8 with this same problem, i don't know if the problem came when the guy gave it to me when he updated to 6.0.1 ...
Sim card is detected, sim contacts are detected, but no signal...

I "accidentally" erased my whole OS (Android 6.0.1) then managed to install new on from huawei website, everything worked but still...no service

you have to install emui 3.1 again for your model using fastboot method, you have a dual sim device
have to unlock your boot loader

I have the 6.0 stock, emui 4.0 and from there I put the RR custom. As the tutorial says.

Well done then, how it works RR custom for you?

I have the same Problems. After flashing with DC Phoenix and reflash the original B170 Firmware my Simcard is detected, but I don't have a Cell Network. What can i do in this case? Boot loader is open and TWRP is installed.

i have unlocked the bootloader previously and the sim card still getting no network... maybe something gotta do with where i bought it? bought it when vacationing to china... maybe phones sold in china only supported some 4G band? anyone?

No sir, china models support all networks bands, just flash emui 3.1 via fastboot method

SOLVED | NO Signal after flashing twrp and SuperSU

Hi, please help me.
Today I unlocked bootloader officialy, after it flashed TWRP , SuperSu and Xposed.
I have imei , after dialing *#06# , my imei is same as on the box.
After reboot I have no signal on both SIM cards.
Information:
Model: xt1635-02
Stock Android 7.1.1
npns26.118-22-1
reteu
Please help me. Thanks a lot.
Solved by flashing stock rom via fastboot.
