I installed Indian stock Rom in my HTC desire 816w dual SIM provided in this forum. I. got ota but wen I update it's says variant version detected. My current version 1.50.720.3 and I want to update to 1.52.720.1. It's Chinese handset . Thanks in advance. I also have problem on moving files from Internal storage to sd card. Help with that also. Finally my BlinkFeed contents are Chinese. How to get English version

I'm havin a problem and i hope that some of the experts can help.
I upgrade my C6506 to 10.7.A.0.222 generic USA firm but could not make root so i downgrade to 10.1.A.350 from my carrier, obtain root access and install the dual locked recovery after that i try to install a 10.7.A.0.222 preroot but the phone stuck in a bootloop on the sony logo so I had to flash the same room via flashtool the flash was completed but since then my phone don't detect any sim and just mark the legend invalid sim , I can see my version of baseband and the IMEI of my phone besides i have tried several simcards and various roms from my original carrier but nothing works :crying:

As i am new to this forum and i am not sure that this will be replied. Still here is a little problem. Couple of months back my small brother bought HTC Desire 816 Dual sim Indian Variant (Qualcomm) phone which Cellular network was not working. Going deep in problems i came to find out that it has baseband version was unknown & IMEI was null. Some sites on google told flashing wrong ROM can cause this problem so find good ROM and Flash it. I Unlocked bootloader flashed custom ROM(Cynogenmod Nightly) via TWRP recovery. Still same problem. I tried that indian backup file tried different ROM but none helped. And yes when i tried to flash kitkat or lolipop or Marshmellow the phone just keeps restarting. Now i am using resurection Remix rom.

I have been unable to activate the SIM cards (slot 1&2) on my MZP xt1645-03 after flashing the xt1635-02 rom. I have had a NO OS installed message in TWRP Addison (English) before I successfully install the Nougat Deodex 7.0 stock ROM via TWRP.
Anybody have had similar experiences?
Any fix?
Maybe modem is wrong or missing. Try to flash it manually again or for your region. I saw thread how to convert single sim phone to dual. Check that as well.

Hello guys, when i've bought this smartphone it had MM And TIM SKU, so the first thing i've did is to change it to WW SKU and WW MM, After i've installed all new firmware with the download in the internal storage.. Because i'm not able to get FOTA updates... (I've no root, no unlucked bootloader, no custom recovery. Never did it!) with the last update, 44.87 my smartphone didin't reconignize the update in the internal storage! So i've flashed it from my recovery and from SD Card.
Now my question is, is there a way to get again FOTA update?
Can someone please help me find and flash my E5372 to an original Firmware?
I have an unlocked version from Bouygues telecom France that I flashed with Custom 21.290.23.00.00 firmware by ValdikSS. I want to get it back to an official international firmware and make sure all installed apps will also be erased. I re flashed it with the custom firmware, but the online partition /online/opt with all software I installed remain intact and was not deleted.
What I want to do in one word is getting it back to it's original state
Edit: problem fixed, I was able to find firmware and help here
