[HELP] CyanogenMod 11 kitkat 4.2.2 problem on s3 - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

So I downloaded the cyanogenmod 11 kitkat 4.4.2 that released on 12/14/13, with also gaaps straight from ROM manager. Everything was good until I had to signup for Google. I tried signing up but it kept on force closing and stopped. The signup skiped and when to setup wizard but kept on saying "unfortunately setup wizard has stopped" in a endless loop. It also said the Google partner has stopped as well. The only thing I can do is Open up settings, phone, internet, and settings from the lock screen. Every time I try to unlock the phone it repeats the setup wizard message. What's the problem and how can I fix it. I'm guessing its a late gaaps version, if it is how can I put the latest gaaps version on my phone. Please help.

You're supposed to use the PAGapps! . Go into the Goomanager app (download if ya don't have it). Then Browse all, then Devs, then ParanoidAndroid, then Roms, then Gapps, then download the PAgapps 4.4

[Q] Custom Rom: process com.google.process.gapps has stopped.

I'm trying to load a custom rom and after I install the ROM and gapps I get the following error: "process com.google.process.gapps has stopped." The home function, browser, or anything google related doesn't work and the playstore doesn't even open. This happens with both PAC rom and CarbonRom. I've tried factory resetting, wiping everything, and retrying but I get the same error every time. I'm assuming I'm forgetting something basic; any help on the matter would be much appreciated.

Sounds like your gapps are bad. Or you are using the wrong ones. Try the official 4.3
http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
Settings. Apps. Menu. Reset app preferences.

Still can't get it to work. Even tried pa-gapps to see if that did anything; it installed the apps this time but everything crashed (even keyboard didn't work). Before the keyboard worked but there was no google play store. Are there any other 4.3 gapps packages?
EDIT: Could this be the problem? I tried extracting the zip and it said something like "Data error in 'system/app/GmsCore.apk' File is broken" and a few other similar errors.
Fixed. Turns out the gapps zip file was corrupted. The 5th or 6th time I downloaded it it worked.

"Unfortunately, DropboxOOBE stopped working"

Hi everyone, I got a problem with my phone when flashing Ditto Note 3 v5.2.
Whenever I try to finish the setup wizard, the samsung account registration part, I can neither skip the process or sign in, or create a new account. It keeps on giving me this error:
"Unfortunately, DropboxOOBE stopped working."
I tried to search it, and I've manage to stumble a similar problem with someone replying a solution of cache wipe, or full wipe and reflashing of the ROM.
I did all of the said solution but for some reason, I can't still get pass that registration. Is there anyway to solve this problem?
I also got some messages like:
"Unfortunately, syncadapters stopped working." ....and.... "Unfortunately INDIservice Manager stopped working."
*I'm currently using cyanogenmod 11 snapshot m9, because it doesn't give me problem except for some heating issues*
I am also searching to find out what indiservice is. Tjere doesnt seem to be any info on it and days and days of trial and error with all of google services had me with a major headache.
Don't know about the others but ditto note 3 doesn't have dropbox installed it's missing from the aroma. If you install dropbox from playstore the dropbox message should go away. I don't know why but adding dropbox to the aroma breaks the rom

Everytime I install the DN3, I don't check dropbox and evernote in the full version of 5.2. I don't know what happened but it worked the first time I flashed it. But when I reset my phone, the error occurred and I can't go pass it what ever I do, reflash, full wipe, go from one rom and back to DN3, but to my surprise, the problem was persistent.
I hope someone could help us out with similar problem. I missed using touchwiz and it's feature. I had a good run with cyanogenmod 11, but touchwiz has its charms.
Every Sammy rom had dropbox Obe installed it's part of the rom. If you don't use dropbox just freeze or delete it. If you do then just install dropbox from playstore and it will stop. It's like every Sammy rom has sns installed in case you install Facebook or Twitter. If you don't install them then sns won't do anything

Can't Install Apps After Xposed Install?

I changed my Find 7 to run in unified storage mode and flashed the nameless rom. It booted and worked fine. I then flashed the official Xposed Lollypop zip and when I booted I get the "Google Partner Setup Stopped Working" error. I hit okay and it goes away. When I tried to install the Xposed APK, it said finished but said it didn't install. When I install an app fro the Play Store, I get the 504 error code. I've cleared the data and cash on both the play store and play services. I've rebooted multiple times. I did earlier try the experimental Xposed on this rom and it was stuck in a boot loop. If the rom is incompatible, I can use another rom. Not too picky with roms. It needs to support unified storage though. 2GB Isn't enough space for apps. (What was OPPO thinking?)

I'm not sure if you figured anything out by now but I had the same exact problem. I was on nameless 5.1.1 with xposed armv75. In the past week I noticed my phone was getting laggy as hell on nameless in the last few updates. Rebooted because of the black screen of death I was getting and when I got back into it I had app updates but they would never download. I doubt you're still go through that but if you are or angry one else reading this is just a stunning to not waste your best time. I tried it all all. Error 504 no matter what I did. I flashed euphoria and haven't looked back!
I was facing the same problem and I fixed by doing a Wipe cache partition with TWRP, I don't know why but that fixed the problem.

So really never? Ever... ever? Or wait till N...
Got some strange behavior on 03.23 nightly. When somebody calls me - gui is restarting until call ends and caller hears usual beeps. On 21 or 20 ( forgot) nightly all was working.
Update. Flashed back 21 nightly, incoming call is working again, after flash got android.process.acore is stopped error. To fix it all you need is go to apps find Contacts Storage and clear data.

I'm also on the 23 nightly with the incoming call issue. Have you tried any of the later nightlies?
Also seem to have a problem with gapps. Whenever I flash it, I get an error: "unfortunately setup wizard has stopped".
Apart from these, cm13 runs just fine
Just want to report that on the 25 nightly, bluetooth audio still doesn't work. Guess I have to go back to stone-age tech - wired earbuds.

One of matrix's latest unofficial build has bluetooth audio (14th).
I'm hoping the nightlies will get the fix (or revert?) soon.

Iirc, some people couldn't get Bluetooth calls to work on the 3/14 unofficial, but media was working, and it's the reverse on the 3/13 build. Could be wrong, I'm sure I'll be corrected if I am.
No you're correct, I use more my phone for bluetooth media than bluetooth calls these days and forgot.
Has anyone tried the latest nightly? (26)
Heads up to anyone who's just about to flash cm13 for the first time..flash gapps immediately after cm13 before you reboot so you don't have to go through what I went through.
If per adventure you do flash gapps after rebooting and you run into some glitches, just calm down and follow these steps:
1. Go to settings>apps and grant setup wizard all permissions
2. Delete data/system/users/0/runtime-permissions.xml
That should resolve all Google play error popups
Coming from lollipop 5.1.1 did you guys factory reset installing 6.0 Marshmallow? If so any problems restoring TB backups?

I went cm 11 -> 12 -> 13 . only thing I did moving between major versions was wipe dalvik, cache, and system and then flash ROM and then gapps and reboot.
Latest nightly is running pretty solid. Only issues I've come across is a few Front Facing Camera hiccups. Also, whenever I send or receive a MMS my data symbol has an exclamation point and stops working. The only workaround I've come across is to toggle airplane mode but, this becomes rather bothersome as I am in numerous group chats and constantly toggling airplane mode is rather annoying. This issue isn't present when on wifi.

I have issues with constant Google Services and Google Play Store stopped working messages.
These are the ways I tried to install CM13, I used TWRP 3 and I did a full format (wipe cache dalvik data and repart).
1) Flashed CM13-latest, Flashed GAPPS-6-latest, rebooted.
2) Flashed CM13-latest, rebooted, flashed GAPPS-6-latest, rebooted.
Method #1 makes the phone loop on "Checking software updates" during the setup wizard.
Method #2 makes the phone constantly pop-up messages about google stuff stopped working.
I tried your method but it did not work. Setup Wizard had already all of its permissions, I removed the xml file and my phone rebooted and it did the usual "optimizing app x of x".
I don't know what to do... The phone is not really usable.

google play not responding after CM13 install

today i installed cyanogenmod CM13 and gapps on my asus zenfone 2, the install went fine, but when i booted my phone, i selected the language, then when it went to look for updates, a system message appeared "google play services has stopped", which has caused the phone to hang at the update page, and to top it off i forgot to install TWRP, so i think im going to have an issue installing a fresh install.
does anybody have any ideas as to what i can do please?
+1 same problem

This is a CM bug (not relating to our device), showing up on a lot of devices since 3/26 builds. Chances are it will be fixed soon.
