Hey guys!
I have a Xperia ZQ (the brazillian model from ZL) and I've updated it for 4.2.2 last week.
Since this, when I turn on the screen, it automatically enters at lockscreen edit mode, every time, and this bothers me a lot.
It's something like this (I can't post links, so please remove the * from it) --> im*gur.com/*3PqnxEt
I think it's not a configuration problem, since I've tried a factory reset using PC Companion. Anyone knows about this, have the same issue or knows how to "fix" it?
Thanks, and sorry if there's any errors in typing.
PS: My phone is locked and unrooted, and the firmware ir the 10.3.A.0.423

Well, if you turn on, is it on edit lockscreen mode?
If yes, i think it's not normal... have you try to restore your phone via companion?

Exactly. Everytime I turn the screen on afeter locking it, it's on edit mode. So I have to hold on a second 'til I can unlock it normally. It's not a big problem, but sometimes it's annnoying.
I've tried to restore via Sony PC Companion and reseting to factory data on aphone configuration...

I am weak with English, but I hope you will understand me.
This is a problem with our XPERIA Arc, bootloader is unlocked and installed a custom rom Xperia ™ HD Ultimate 2.0.2, but the problem occurs on the other ROM.
Sometimes it happens that when I pressed the power button, the phone's screen does not turn on the lock screen but remain black but can be seen in the background light illumination.
Mobile phone can receive calls then everything works but nothing is visible on the screen, the screen is touch-sensitive.
Once it was repaired by itself or by pressing the power button several times and sometimes nothing without removing the battery.
I noticed that this is a common cell phone stays on while the charger.
Please help, what should I do?
"but the problem occurs on the other ROM."
What other ROM?
Try format your SD-card and a fresh install of HD 2.0.2.
Btw.. HD 2.0.3 might come today

now it happens on every rom I've tried.
I went back to the stock rom and the same error occurs, sometimes 5-6 times I pressed the power button to turn on the screen.
Is there a process that the cell phone back to its original factory condition, remain some files modified by installing custom ROMs, no matter if I install a stock rom?
your phone might be overheating? does it get extremely hot when charging?

I installed everything according to the instructions for the specific rom. repeatedly tried the same rom.
Many times I have returned to the stock rom.
But the same is happening to everyone.
I looked in the root file and I see that some have even date from 2008. year, is it normal?
Does installing new rom deleted all files from previous rom that was installed?

if the problem why hardwerski happens when a mob in cw recovery mode, and once he manages to turn the screen still works well until you are back off or go to sleep?
The problem is solved
I really tried all sorts of ways, but the problem was the micro sd card needed to be formatted and just repeat the process again and now all is well.
Thanks to everyone who tried to help!
Merry Christmas everyone!
edit:
Unfortunately, no.
Repeated.

sory for my bad english
Put a bit of paper between the battery and see how it gos for a few hour, if that fails then wipe your SD card and see how it is, failing that you might need a Service Centre as flashing new FW hasn't worked so might be a HW issue.
i have already do that..
wipe sd n put paper..
i try use without sd, sim card but is restart also..

hi
Whenever I open my wireless and connect to network, I loose control on my phone! it started behave illogical, button pressed, screen dancing and preventing me from doing anything on it. the solution, each time, is to remove the battery and reboot!
I did a full wipe and flash, nothing changed. Tried several ROMs and still nothing changed. scan the device with antivirus (android app and from the computer) nothing changed too!
I faced it recently, but I don't know how to find the problem, isolate it, and fix it! it's driving me crazy!
can anybody help me with this?
Thanks

Open Settings, go to Wifi, press menu button to open Advance Settings. Make sure 'Scanning always available' is un-ticked.
If this does not help, and you are on pure stock ROM, try a factory reset after backing up any needed data.
Good luck hope it helps

Try opening Settings again, then Location Services. Look under Location Sources section and untick those. Should help. Google likes to know where you are and what you're doing at all times

If that's the case (no root, u did nothing and even factory reset), suggest u monitor awhile more. If really remains the same, go to service center.
