If its says its full go to your:
Internal SD/Android/Data
Internal SD/Android/obb - for games such as FIFA 14
Delete content which takes up the most space.
Press Thanks if i have helped.

Try to clear the cache by installing apps like clean master or app cache cleaner from the playstore

Hello everyone.
I've recently switched to the Data++ Hboot with 10MB cache. Ever since then I haven't been able to download large apps from the Market.
I was wondering how to make the Market save the APK's on the SD Card instead of the cache partition. If I remember correctly this has been implemented in a number of ROMs, including the Oxygen ROM to name one. Where would I change that?
Sorry for deviating from the topic, but I have this strong urge to ask you this: How did you get 10MB cache with Data++? According to alpharev.nl, Data++ gives 5MB cache....
On a side note, I also have 10MB cache but my apps are installing fine (with a little help from A2SD).....how big are the apps you're trying to download? Maybe I haven't come across "big" ones yet...

Oh I see they've updated their website. I'm using an older version of Data++ (System 180M, Cache 10M, Data 261M). I still have the img plus a screenshot of the website to compare MD5, if you're interested.
Well, it was just a guess. Downloads to Angry Birds (both versions) and Rocket Bunnies are not working, to name a few. Since they're all over 10MB I assumed it was due to the smaller cache partition. I'm also using A2SD btw.
Hmmm, they are not too big then (was expecting 20+MB).....I just downloaded those two apps couple of hours ago on my one and it's running fine even though I've only got 10MB cache.
Normally you'd need a file manager (like the one with Titanium backup or root explorer) to do the job of moving .apk files to SD..these are normally stored in /data/app inside the internal memory and requires root access to get them...but the files must be downloaded in the first place.
Is your system up-to-date? I too had similar problems until I did a complete flash-over and updated everything.... unfortunately I didn't work out the cause of it

Oh I see, I was under the impression the apks get saved on the cache partition. In that case, I should look for the problem elsewhere. Yes, I'm running the latest Sense ROM (2.29 with the 5 ending), but modified to suit my needs. I guess it could be related to that.
More info about the 'non-downloading'. When I click on install in the Market, the download icon appears quickly in the notification bar and then quickly disappears. Was this the same problem you were having?
In short....yes...that was the main sympton I had....the download icon disappears quickly....and it only happened to some of the apps
Have you tried rebooting the phone?...

Yes, tried that. Also tried clearing the dalvik cache and cache but with no success. I have found this while looking for a solution on Google. Seems someone else is having the exact same problem.

Hmm, yea. The thing that's really frustrating is I still don't know what the problem was in my case..if I did I could've been a little bit more helpful. In my "rage" I just flashed a new kernel and a new ROM and that sorted out the problem for me....didn't stop to wonder what was actually causing it.
EDIT: I think changing the kernel, especially, did it for me...
Hmm…
I have the same problem (except my /cache is 3MB so I can't download files larger than that).
Funny though, it used to work just fine (I have Angry Birds and flash for example), it has only recently started to act up.
If anyone finds a solution (possibly without flashing), I'll be quite grateful
P.S.
When my download fails (downloading icon simply disappears), my logcat shows DownloadManager reporting that there is not enough space (with about 60MB on /data) and then Vending complains about the file not being found (because DownloadManager didn't download it).
Seems like a bug in DownloadManager to me. It probably doesn't look up the cache (mine is in /data/cache IIRC) but uses the free space on /cache to determine if there is enough to fit the .apk.
I'm now working on same think. Need to Market downloading apps to SD card instead of /cache. So is there any tweak for this?
Yep.
Requires a little bit of knowledge about how linux handles mount points.
Basically, the easiest way is to bind mount a folder on the sdcard/data to /cache.
I get this .. I just clear the market cache ... go back into the market , all fine .
I normally have to " download " stuff 3 times , before it installs.
Hi all,
I wann try Sandvolds ICS with my aged Desire, but apps are starting very slow and there are often FCs.
I read the dev thread very carefully, thats why i bought an class 10 micro sd card.
I'm running cm7r2 hboot with stock kernel and stock a2sd and a 2gb ext4 partition.
cache2sd enabled
dalvikcache2sd enabled
ive tried nearly everything.
Thx
Okay I just disabled cache2sd and it seems a lil bit faster, but not really satisfying.
Has anybody same troubles??
Try Data++ SPL

Im not shure what another hboot should change?
The only thing it changes is the space for /system and /data
/cache has the same value at all
Thx

It means more system related files can be put on the internal memory instead of the sd card. Which means faster reaction time compared to your phone reading those system related files on the sdcard

Yep, I got that...
but as I understand a2sd right, all data will be moved to /sd-ext/data and linked to /data or /app. Correct me if I am wrong.
Anyway, things are getting more and more complicated.
After disabling cache2sd im not able to install apps from store. Play store tells me not enough space...
Sorry... I can install apps, but the update for google maps wasn't successfull
Sorry for all that stupid questions, but i really want ICS

1) Do a full wipe. Boot, system, data, dalvic, cache.
2) Flash Data++
3) Flash ICS and enable A2SD
It's not healthy to mess around with those settings once it's already been installed. Jus' sayin'.

I really appreciate ur answers!

Hi all,
today i've added the cache2sd option in the a2sd script again.
for non obvious reson, i can update/install all apps again and my desire is now fast as it was pronounced in the dev thread.
i dunno what changed... soo?!
anway thx 4 the help
I had this issue, it was to do with the way I was installing a2sd. My apps took a little while to load or occasionally would pop up with a not responding messaging asking to close or wait. Usually if you clicked wait the app would load up.
Basically when you install a2sd on the terminal it asks you if you want to move apps data if you click no to it you'll find that apps will start loading quicker.
That worked for me, now every time I flash the updates to ICS I do it that way and my apps have been fine.

1. Install Link2SD
2. Search for Updated Apps
3. Integrate the updated ones to System
4. Clear All App Cache
5. Clear Dalvik-Cache
6. Reboot device
Now try updating the apps that you were having trouble with.
Good luck!

hello i decided to update my nexus 7 flo to the latest stock marshmallow this morning but im in dilemma now.. as i have only 235kb memory left in my system rom. please help how to free it .. i only have atleast 10 apps installed now and i really wonder why it takes that much of memory... by the way.. my n7 flo is rooted already. please see my ss below
It's rooted, so no OTA is possible. You can only do this - and they wrote:
"Caution: Flashing a new system image deletes all user data. Be certain to first backup any personal data such as photos"
Then, what's the dilemma when you have no choice?

I`m guessing that Your Titanium backups has taken a lot of your storage.... You could go in and delete the backups You dont need?.... Also you could use Titanium to uninstall system apps...... and cleaning up the temp cache of used apps could free up some more....
I have the 16gb version and it is not alot of storage to use on it, the micro sd slot is one thing I really miss from Nexus ..... but I mostly use a usb stick for movies etc :good: ....
You could also use the cleaner script found here to free about 224mb of storage : http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013/development/rom-bad-boyz-nexus-7-stock-rooted-t3219148
The stock firmware fills nearly all of system and that's ok. It's not slowing you down.
If you need more space in the system partition for some reason delete system apps with TB like mentioned above.

Ya I tried that system cleaner but it didn't work for me, I got bootloop instead.
i wanted to install new stock rom from here but fastboot wont install it so i went to twrp and tried to flash it from there but during flashing twrp just rebooted itself and saying installation wasnt sucessful, i figured this is due to S-On but prior to flashing it i did possibly the stupidest thing, i went to ADVANCED WIPE and wiped every option on the list(dalvik, system, data, internal storage, cache) except for micro sdcard ofcourse. i then went to FIX PERMISSIONS and stupidly select the ALSO FIX SELINUX CONTEXTS. when those done i then went and install another image which is on the sdcard that i downloaded from here E9pw_Android5.0_Sense70_E1.zip . the installation went well and rebooted itself and got to the homescreen and whatnot. but the troubles came when i tried to install apps from playstore and it gave me all kind of errors known to man, even going into file manager to access the internal storage gave me problem it says something along ACCESS IS DENIED or CANT ACESSS EMULATED OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. when i opened chrome to download something the browser just crashed because apparently it wont able to access the emulated storage. yeah i fcked up badly here. dont know whatelse to do.
see below of the files that i currently have in my external microsd card:
E9pw_Android5.0_Sense70_E1.zip -WORKS
open gapps arm64 android 5.0 stock
RUU 0PJXIMG_A55ML_DTUL_L50_SENSE70_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.35.7 07.2 - DONT WORK
0PJXIMG_A55ML_DTUL_L50_SENSE70_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.35.7 07.2 - DONT WORK
Thanks!
Got it fixed! by going to TWRP-->WIPE-->FORMAT DATA and reinstall the ROM. if anybody experiencing the same problem please do the same.
