I have a widget with a bitmap background but the resulting widget has 90 degree corners. I'd like the corners of the widget rounded off.
How can I do this?
I'm looking at what this guy did here. Notice how the time widget for example has rounded corners.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I wanted the same effect so I had to go into Photoshop (or another image editor) and crop/round the corners there. Then I imported the image into zooper.

what operating system are you running?
Make the image a png after you chop then off. That way you'll have transparent corners.
I'm on a Mac using Pixelmator for image editing.

Sorry if i posted this on the wrong section..
Just a quick question here..
i wanna use my custom wallpaper on today's screen.
i selected the option on today's settings and had the wallpaper on but theres a gray surface covering the wallpaper.. its like the background is covered with the gray wallpaper and behind the gray wallpaper is my wallpaper..
so the pictures are added with gray colours..
any idea how to have my original colour or removing the gray surface?

Sounds like you increased 'transparency' when you selected?
Goto your pic in picture viewer, choose option to 'set as today background' then use 0 as transparency level.
thanks buddy!
that did the trick!
I'm trying to find a mod/widget/or theme that I can put tabs flush against a home screen (vertical). These tabs would all be folders/apps. And if possible customizable titles for the tabs.
Anyone know of something I could use? Thanks in advance!
The only thing I know of that comes close would be Circle Launcher. It can be used in a vertical or horizontal straight line. I'm sure you could maybe position it against one side and you can customize the icons/labels.
Good luck!

I have a widget that was originally a 4x2 (maybe 4x3), but I removed the top layer making it a 4x1 (or maybe a 4x2).
But the preview basically is showing a large empty section on the top half of the preview, and my work on the bottom. Is there a way to crop the 'canvas' size of this existing widget so that I can use it as a 4x1 on my home screen without scaling problems?
Is there a way through Themes or elsewhere to reduce the wasted padding space the at exists around apps and widget icons on the home screen? It seems like they could have fit an entirely additional row in there if the padding would be reduced to something more reasonable.
Easiest way would be to use another launcher. On the other hand, you could decompile the sense launcher and give it a go.

decompile sense launcher (prism.apk)
and look at res/values/dimens.xml
Hi everyone.
I managed somehow to see very, very transparent masking region on notification line. Straight rectangle just under the camera cutout. It is visible everywhere in UI but it is hardly noticeable. Even in full screen YouTube videos.
Can someone confirm is this some kind of UI masking region? I hope it is not screen burn-in problem.?
I managed to take a picture of screen in dark room with dark green wallpaper in full screen mode and brightness all the way to maximum, and it is clearly visible.
(Photo is edited so notification region can be seen.)
Dark green wallpaper and photo on a link below.

Thanks for answer in advance.
Yes, it is like a mask were the status bar is, it looks bad, when in the apps, it looks darker
I really don't know what I did, but fiddling with ui tuner, nova settings and I cant recall what else, the dark mask in the upper part is gone!
