If you were just stock rooted then not much will change. If your boot loader WAS unlocked, it won't be now. You'll have factory recovery. Then you'll need to do a factory reset to clear everything.

I did, factory reset finished it off.
Although I still think it's doing the weird boot thing where the LG logo flashes a couple times before the Sprint boot animation runs.

Root and Unlock is confirmed on zvc bin. The update should be no different. Fyi. To be able to install the update, you MUST have be totally stock ROM. Absolutely no changes.
Follow the Root guide. It'll guide you through the process.

You can try to install the update. It'll fail if it finds something it doesn't like. If I remember right, if it fails, just reboot. Nothing should be changed.

I see. Ok, well I rooted and unlocked my bootloader yesterday. Today I received the update and installed it. When the phone rebooted to install the update, it went to TWRP. Then when the update finished, it booted normally. When I say nothing changed, I meant nothing with my software. Everything was left the same, even my notifications. When I tried to boot into the boot loader, it booted normally so I checked if my phone was still rooted and it wasn't. In a previous thread, you said that freegee and root are confirmed working on ZVC, that's what I was referring to because I'm gonna have to reroot and unlock again since the update unrooted and locked the bootloader.

Gotcha.
We have to have all updates before rooting and unlocking.
I can't remember if this is what it did when zvb came out our not. But we also couldn't unlock zvb for a while. So we avoided taking the update.
Anyway root and FreeGee will take care of you again as they do work on zvc.

TWRP? Don't ota updates require a stock recovery or else they fail? Are you sure your phone didn't boot without installing anything like it would normally do on other phones with custom recoveries? Did you check your phones about section to make sure you're on ZVC??

Even I did the same thing as you. Installed the update on a rooted and unlocked phone, it went to TWRP, update was installed, after that rebooted and it was all stock with bootloader locked. THIS IS A TEST ROM
This rom is just a test for the i317 using the leaked 4.3 files from the n7100 including all the Note 3 features...
I'm not sure if this will even boot on your phone but I no longer have a Note 2 to test it out.
MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR PHONE BEFORE CONTINUING!!!
1. Download ROM - Torrent
2. Copy zip to sd card
3. COMPLETELY WIPE YOUR PHONE (important step)
4. Flash zip with cwm
5. Reboot and hopefully enjoy 4.3 with all Note 3 features!

Update:
I was able to dirty flash over SkyNote 4.3. Boots but doesn't work well with blue tooth. wiped and FC bluetooth and cleared data but still FC and won't turn on. wifi and data still worked.
SO it is somewhat comparable, must need a boot loader to install cleanly on i317.
Oh! so close........maybe sean can take a look at this?
thanks for the file sharing,
but will n7100 kernel work in n7105?
and any issue for knox?
can be downgraded?
will try
Why dont you just try using the leaked ATT image as a base instead?

You flashed an hboot (or attempted to) to the boot partition (kernel). Flashify isn't meant to flash hboots. Only boot(kernel) and recovery (recovery).
I only update hboot from the hboot bootloader menu (safer).
Sounds like if you had flashed a kernel back you would have been good.

From the looks of it this will reflash your device should you do some experimentations that make it unbootable so long as you can get into download mode.

Does it reset all of the flags?
An odin flash can't reset a counter, but Knox won't trip if it's official firmware.. It's only an issue when you get into root/kernel/recovery
