Hi all!
Do you know where I can find stock RUU for my HOX?
I already tried with this RUU (RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_hTC_Asia_WWE_3.14.707.24_Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_296434_signed_2). It's finished but it stuck at bootloader screen.
FYI the phone OS is ICS and never used custom ROMS, and still LOCKED. I even never do anything after I bought it.
Here is the result of getvar all:

I already tried to unclock more than 10 times. I tried from HTC-dev and flash the unlock_code.bin. it said unlocked successfully but the status is still *LOCKED*
Then there is nothing we can do via software !

What did you actually do @ htcdev? Your bootloader is not updated to the unlockable one, so nothings actually been done yet..
Edit: yours is a vodafone phone, so there should be an updated hboot for it, so should not need a goldcard.

To flash roms you don't need S-OFF. It is enough with an unlocked bootloader...
my bootloader can not be unlocked. i tried to many times with the command shown on htcdev and nothing. my phone is not rooted. i tried to downgrade but its impossible. what can i do more???

You need to update the hboot first, it is on HTCdev, you need to update before the token command will work...

then better read in general section some guide, you need fastboot and adb on your computer. You don't know how to go in bootloader and you want to flash rom. Please be more specific. Not like I am using ViperX say I take phone with installed ViperX. It is not so ease to restore phone and in case you don't know how to use fastboot!
And now my answare download fastboot and adb go in bootloader and run the command. To go in bootloader tutn off your phone then press volume down + power button until you are in bootloader.
i got it now sir

Hey guy, I recently purchased this phone and I have no idea the model number of the phone since the owner flashed a custom rom on it. I want to flash it back to stock but dont know which model number it is to be able to download the correct stock rom. It doesn't have the carrier logo in the back. The back said model: OP6B130. It works on ATT but doesn't ATT logo on the back. He said the phone was unlocked. How do I figure that out? Thanks

Yeah me too, stock rooted Developers Edition with Alex v kernel
Hello guys, so today i decided to unroot my phone and go back to stock because i want to sell it. I started doing theunlockr.com method (http://theunlockr.com/2014/06/08/how-to-unroot-the-htc-one-m8-video/) in the step of flashing stock nandroid backup, i flashed it using TWRP restore utility, then i didnt find any folder in the gallery and there was around 5 out of 16 GB avaialible only, so i did a "fromat data", since it erases everything, i pushed the firmware 4.16.401.10 using ADB into the TWRP folder (it wasnt there so i created a backup and there i found it). Then i restored the nandroid backup, now there are 4.5GB used which i cant find and some folders still dont appear in file manager... and i have wifi issues, it doesnt connect to wifi and neither does mobile data work. I need help as soon as possible. ANy help is MUCH apprecciated. Than you guys. and if there is any other way to completely unroot hope someone would help.
PS, i am planning to flash stock recovery, its just i want to fix the current problemss then i can flash stock recovery and lock the bootloader.
Need more info. Do an adb getvar all, but remember to delete your IMEI and serial number (those are personal data) before you post the output.

The easiest way to go back to stock is to run the appropriate RUU.
Download this RUU onto your PC.
When the download if finished, hook your phone up to your PC and double click on the download.
Follow the prompts.
Super easy.
This will bring you back to stock including your stock recovery. It will also wipe your phone.

You are already S-On, and will remain that way.
The only differences from the day you bought it will be that the bootloader is unlocked, and the the stock ROM is the latest Android version (5.0.1 Lollipop instead of 4.4.2 Jellybean), just as it would be if you had remained stock and updated through the OTA updates from HTC and your carrier.

Without S-Off (which costs $25), you can only set it to re-locked status and not locked, so I wouldn't bother.

From your getvar. Hook up to your PC, get into ADB, and enter adb getvar all.
Post the readout here. Edit out your IMEI and serial# from it first. That is private information that you should never post on a public forum.
EDIT: I saw your bootloader readout in the thread you started. There is no RUU available for your device (Vodafone) that I am aware of. Sorry.

I guess you didn't see my edited reply. I don't know of any Vodafone RUUs. I don't think there is one.

Oh indeed I didn't.
Thank you for searching for me anyway!
Guess there is no other way to restore my phone?

Answered in the thread you started instead of highjacking this one.

Without S-Off (which costs $25), you can only set it to re-locked status and not locked, so I wouldn't bother.
Yes, your problems should be fixed.

Error 155, I guess you'll need to re-lock your bootloader after all.
fastboot oem lock , then run the RUU again.

This is your problem .. your device is Htc One M7 not M8.
Anything for M8 will not work on M7.
It's best to ask in M7 forum .. maybe they have RUU to fix your device.
Check - https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one
Add : you cab try to unlock bootloader again, if successful then install twrp for M7, it should boot. If unable to unlock bootloader you need RUU to fix it.

I've tried to unlock my bootloader using the Unlock_code.bin method but when I transfer it, It gets stuck.
By any chance do you know what RUU I need?
