i actually really want to get the MIME Feather, i saw in a thread her that the mime GHOST and the Diztronic don't go well together, but no word on the feather, so if anyone has that combo please say so
if no, but you still have anotehr combo of Temp glass + Diz please do share, i think many people here got the Diztronic and would be happy to know, esp before throwing 30+usd on a glass

Nilkin wokrs fine with the dizitronic at least for me. Nothing bubbled up at all and hasn't since I put it on. My Nillkin did have some adhesive issues on the surrounding screen areas but its not tot ugly even though I do notice the small bubbles in those areas, I had to pay for a replacement too... but ill probably keep this one on it and hold onto the replacement as another one incase I break this one.

I have the Diztronic with the Feather glass and it's no problem. The case does go over the temper glass. The glass sit very close to the edge of the screen. I may be the only one with the Feather. I don't understand the popularity with the Ghost since it's thicker.

Diztronic and Mime Compatibility
Hi,
I just want to confirm that the Diztronic case works with the Mime Feather screen protector without any bubbling issues. I had a Mime ghost originally, and there was bubbling in each corner. I can post pictures to imgur and give a link if anyone wants.

I bought a ago steinhel flex and I put it on my phone but after only two days one corner has been lifted I don't know what went wrong, I bought it specifically because I read wet protectors don't lift up on the edges :/ . I'm guessing is because I have a Neo hybrid sgp case which has really tight borders.
I just ordered a sgp ultra hybrid which borders fit a little looser on the phone, what do you say should I buy another steinhel flex? Or maybe try the sgp oleophobic which is supposed to be smaller, but it is a dry application which people here are not fans of, maybe try the xo skins case fit?

the 6 for a dollar ones I get from eBay doesn't interfere with any of my cases. I always suggest those.

it's a common problem for phones whose screens are almost in line with the bezel and if you have a case that covers the bezel. the only solution i saw is to use a smaller protector so the corners of the case would not touch the corners of the protector so it prevents lifting.

the man who's post i will forever keep in my sig. hahaha. good you mentioned that. i didn't actually use my diztronic protector as i have a capdase klia on my gnex. but since it's cut between the size of the actual screen and the one that sgp makes, it seems to not give me any peeling off issues. i guess i'll just keep my free diztronic protector then. hehehe
chances are you have the full screen version if you got the rev3 case. i think the almost to the edge sp's were shipped with earlier versions of the tpu.
i have the full screen xoskins using my diztronic. it doesn't lift the corners or anything!

Haha, yeah exactly! I used to get mad at myself for spending like 14-15 bucks on those wet application types... And only for it to peel off and make the screen look ugly.
I was so mad today. I bought the xo screen protector and had it on for 2 days. I decided to go for a jog and used my arm band case. After the run I tried to remove it from the arm band case, the plastic on the case stuck on the glass of the phone so tight it actually lifted the screen protector while I was trying to remove it so it got ruined. Just a heads up for those getting those "wet application" protectors. Ordered those plasticy clingy ones right after.

1+ Also, tried most of the wet applied ones and these are a lot nicer, no orange peel to worry about with these.
I'm using a Cruzerlite TPU case and even though it's a slim line case, I still tihnk it's too thick and detracts too much from the phone.
I want a body cover solution like Bodyguardz or Ghost Armor, carbon fiber design. Will I be able to use the SGP Glas.T with these body covers and which one is a higher quality?
Is Bodygear/Ghost Armor even worth it? Will it actually protect what it covers well enough for me to consider hiding the metal finish?
I use this clear case because of the same reason.

I have had skins from skinit and they are good for 2-3 months but then start to peel
I bought a body protector and tried using that with the double dip case but my phone got stuck halfway in the case and scratched it up lol. but anyways I gives the phone more grip, you could use any screen protector you want but if u drop it you might scuff up the corners. The way you apply it on the corners it leaves some of the corners exposed and sometimes it doesn't stick to the phone well. Mine was skinomi but there's is a little more thick and would maybe have better protection for drops but that got ruined in my case. so I bought a armorsuit which I think I used before and the screen protector is a little thinner and clearer. I'll take pics when I put it on and tell you what I think about it.

This thread is being closed. There were several options suggested. If you don't appreciate help or suggestions I would recommend not asking for them. If you feel you need more options I would recommend going to www.amazon.com and reading the reviews on some of the cases there.
Also, calling others names because you disagree with them is uncalled for and will not be tolerated on XDA.
Thank you,

I'm using mime for about a month. Is very effective not like a regular screen protector, but there is one thing it is a little bit thick and have corning glass so you dont feel much of the thickness while you swipe from up to down looking for the notifications.
I have mime and i love it. Absolutely no complaunts, and it's cheaper...

The reviews on the spigen on amazon are awful.
How far to the edge of the glass does the mime go? My GLAS.tR is about 1mm^2 smaller than the screen.
Glas.tr is smaller by about 1mm from edge but fits perfectly with my Otterbox Commuter case. Had it been accurate to screen size, the case wouldn't have fit. So, it works for me.

Granted that its a bit thicker its not so much that your thumb can till the difference or even care. What you have to ask is would you feel safer having more or less glass between your screen on your $600 smartphone and the ground if you accidentally dropped it.
Sent from my gimped not yet unlocked Verizon One
Thicker glass does not mean better shock resistance. All these glass screen protectors have glass on the outside and a plastic film on the inner side, where the "glue" resides.
Basically, there is no difference in protection between 0.1mm thick and 1mm thick glass. The only reason for building the glass thicker is the process that is used to create that glass. A more refined/expensive process will lead to a thinner glass .... that's all.

Hey MIME owners
it seems like wherever i read everyone only got the ghost and i was wondering why?
i thought the Feather was lighter, thinner and protects as well (which is why it costs more)
is that not the case? because i prefer a-bit thicker if it protects better (the ghost that is)
I would say this: If you'll be using a case, go with the feather. I just put the Diztronic case on my Nexus 5 with ghost and the corners immediately started to lift. If you aren't planning on using a case, go with the ghost. It has rounded edges which will help prevent chipping.
[edit]Although I haven't confirmed that the feather works with cases. I believe I read it in one of the Mime main threads.

Cruzerlite TPU cases can work with mime ghost without lifting the corners:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2512135&page=17
It's strange, because my SGP steinheil, which is plastic screen protector, has it's corner lifted when using those cases. Other SGP cases work fine though.
I think it's actually correlated to how precise you installed the screen protector. Mine is a bit more inclined to the left, thus my bottom left corner is lifted when using cruzerlite tpu case.

Oh ok. Then I think it depends on the tightness of the case. Since depending on which side I slip first into the case, the other side is where the corner starts to lift.

I have ordered MIME Ghost glass. I too had the same question before buying. I sent them an email. this is their reply:
Our Ghost Glass protectors are thicker (0.32mm) and offer slightly more drop protection, while our Feathers are half as thick and twice as light. Our glass is cut from the same source, so surface hardness is identical.

Got my Mime Feather to replace the defective, Glas.tr. Early impressions:
Feather is much thinner, easier to apply, seems more oleophobic and has no bubbles (when naked). Can't compare the smoothness bw the two but it seems the Feather is just slightly better, maybe its because of being more oleophoic.
When i put the Cruzerlite bugdroid case on, the Feather right corner does have a bubble. IMO, the Feather is much better and cheaper than the Glas.tr

i used feather and its a perfect fit with the official bumper case, if Diztronics is the same as the official one maybe that would work:fingers-crossed:
I would say this -- if you're at all (and I mean even the slightest bit) rough with your device, don't even consider the feather.
First off I was trying to push out some corner bubbles I had when installing the protector, I pushed with my thumbnail, not stupidly hard ... and cracked the edge. I thought it was a fluke, ended up doing the same dammed thing on another corner knowing I couldn't press hard. I sent an email to Mime, explained exactly what happened and they sent me a code for the Ghost glass. As I was waiting for the new glass to arrive I somehow chipped the glass again, this time about 1/2 inch from the top of the screen. I have no idea what caused that one.
For the record I've had 2 other devices with Mime Ghost, and an iPad Mini with a BodyGuardz Glass screen protector that have no issues. Personally I think the feather is just to thin for its own good.
See attached. That's one week with the feather glass. I have the Ghost on there now. I'll definitely buy from Mime again .. but I know better than to get the feather next time!

This a thousand times over.
The benefits are a bit hard to put in to words. It's more than just the touch feel. There's a solidity to a glass protector that you can't get with plastic. There's an "invisibility" that comes with glass - even with the clearest plastic protector, you still know it's there. The glass protectors also stick better in my experience. You can toss the phone in your pocket without worrying about an edge lifting up.
Again, it's really hard to explain how big a difference it is, but as Philly Jim said ... once you go glass you can never go back. The first time I bought one, I really questioned my sanity. Now, I don't even consider the other options and I factor the glass into my device cost.
I am planning on using a case with the Note 7 when I get it, but all this speculations that Tempered Glass protectors aren't case friendly makes me think. I don't know which Film Screen protector to go with the Note 7 since I am not familiar with edge to edge protection for this curved screen device. I saw these, but don't know how good they are.

It appears that is not an edge to edge or curved type. Which explains a lot. I'm searching for something curved.
I've always preferred glass in combination with a case but I've heard from people with the S7 Edge that it is tricky with the curved screen. Hoping it won't be as bad for the Note 7 as it's not as curved.
Anybody got any experience with S7 Edge in combination with a glass protector and case and maybe suggestions?
Here's an article from phonearena that might be helpful as well. I haven't order one yet, hoping for some more tips but will let you guys know when I have + experiences!
