[Q] Google Play -110 Error - Sony Xperia ZL

I installed CyanogenMod and when I try to download a paid app on google play, it shows an "110 unknown error". Do you know how to fix it? I read some threads about it and nothing worked (clear cache, log out - login gmail...). Thanks.

You can download play store file and install over the one you have or try to make a clean Rom install this might solve your problem......
OR First try to clear all your data of play store and Google service and reboot the phone if it doesn't work then try the above thing...

Most likely the app you are trying to install has some files already in your system folder, therefore its not able to install correctly. Get a file explorer with root rights and try to clean up yourself. At least that solved my problem.

Need stock Facebook app for Blu Studio 5.3

I need to unroot and return my Blu Studio 5.3 to stock and to do it I need the Facebook app. Deleted it cuz I never use FB. The app is in /system/app. Facebook.apk. Tried getting it from Play Store and it gives me an error, managed to get it to install by sending it to the phone from accessing the Store by computer, but it installs com.facebook.katana-1.apk as a user app and crashes when I try to start it.
Thanks in advance.
Edit - Fixed it by renaming com.facebook.katana-1.apk to Facebook.apk, moving it to /system/app, using touch to change the file times to match other apps in system, and giving it the same permissions as the other apps

Google Play Store "You have no devices" Error Message.

I ran into an error after flashing multiple ROMS on my Xperia Play R800i (Tmobile US-2G). When I restored a Nandroid Backup of a previous ROM, the Play Store (On my computer) said that I didn't have any devices.
If you run into this error, try doing this:
1. Goto Menu>Settings>Apps>All>Google Framework Services>Clear Data
2.Do the same thing for the Google Play Store App
3. Reboot your phone
4. Open Play Store app and wait a few minutes
5. Try using the Play Store from your computer again and check to see if your device is recognized now
Note: You may only have to clear data for the Play Store app and open the app again. All these measures were included to be safe.

Thanks for posting this. I have been going nuts all day trying to figure out what I could've done to cause this to happen. I was about to give up and reflash my rom, but this tip saved the day.

[Q] error code installing app

Hey guys,
Im trying to install my paid, SwiftKey board app/upgrade from the free version and i keep getting an error code window popup after download & long-install
Unknown error code during application install: "-24"
ive tried uninstalling the apps, and folders in sd card; are there any other files (like certificates) that i should try deleting? if so im unaware of where the correct directory is.
will a logcat help?
also ive noticed random apps installing by themselves when i wake up(if im connected to wifi all night) ive scanned, still cant find it
im on CM10.1 UNNOFICIAL -ace- SR1 perf kernell

If you never wanted those random apps, it sounds like you picked up a virus (likely from installing an app from a bad source, eg not the play store)
I would recommend a full wipe (sd card and everything). Then put a rom back onto your sdcard and flash it again.
This will (hopefully) ensure removing any trace of the virus (unless the source if your computer, this is possible, but unlikely)
------
A less extreme option is to download a free antivirus from the play store (if possible). Then you *may* be able to remove the virus. Once you remove it, try doing a cache+dalvik cache wipe, this should fix any problems of apps not installing.
If you get stuck, or neither of the above works, let me know
Have you installed gapps?

[Q] Wont uninstall system app! (modded youtube)

I am trying to uninstall my system Youtube app which I have installed a modded version of and my phone will not let me. The reason I am doing this is because I want to install the new 5.0 update but the update always fails. Yes I have root permissions, Yes I have tried using root explorer in ES File Explorer, Yes I have granted SuperUser Permissions to all the apps I have tried to do it with, Yes I have tried removing the app using console emulator, Yes I have cleared the data for the Youtube app and Disabled it, Yes I have tried remounting the system partition to allow RW access but it always goes back to read only!! everything I have tried keeps giving me the error READ ONLY FILE SYSTEM! I have used Root apps before and they all worked, why when I try to do something so simple it doesnt work? I have searched around on google and havent seen anyone with the problem I'm having. If it is a problem with the modded apk then there HAS to be a way to remove, in fact as I write this I am conctacting the developer via E-Mail. Please help!
BTW this modded YouTube apk was created by theos0o and I downloaded it from this forum!

Some things saying "Insufficient space" to install but NOT for everything

Be it an apk from my sd card or from google play. It doesn't matter what size it is. Some will install fine some will claim i need to free up space.
And i have 1.1gb free + link2sd linking bigger files to my sd card.
Why would some things not install?
*edit
sitting at 1.9gb free
just deleted backup apks and rebooted and still no go.

Disabling or un-installing? If not the same what is just disabling? Cause wouldn't that stop the other apps that are linked not to work?
It's also doing this on some (still random and not all) updates too :/
Just unlinked all apps and uninstalled Link2Sd and rebooted. Nothing has changed.
I really dont want to flash a new rom... AGAIN

And my original is a SGH-M919
So this seriously has to be the issue or maybe the kernel?
*edit....
not sure if this matters but i do have a modded google play store as to ensure some games work.

The modded play store could be messing with it. Especially if Google Play tries to update itself (which is does without telling you) might even mess with the edits. You would have to get a logcat when you try to install something that says there's not enough storage space. The package manager should throw some sort of code to let us know whats going on.

Tried to install logcat and it gave me the same error lol
This happens when you have a corrupt data Dir for the app.
Use Root Explorer or something similar, and go to data/data and look for the app folder that is giving you the error message and delete the app folder.
You should be able to reinstall the app.

Thanks but there is no folder in relation to this app. And I get the same error when trying fresh apps never before installed. Its very very random to even the size, which leans towards smaller sized.

Stuff isn't installed to the system. Your apps are installed to the /data so it doesn't matter how much free space is in /system.
