Does anybody tried to flashed THIS on your device?
I did, but as of now still under observation.
I just want to share the experience and know there are truly change in performance, graphics and sound quality.
Btw, I'm on B119
Installing this requires rooting or things like that ? What does it mean to "flash the zip" ?
yup.
Can you post antutu scores and battery consumption etc?

So, any differences compare to your battery stats?
No changes in benchmark scores.. it just changed the transition speed to 0.5x so it feels faster. This is my first impressions.
ya i think too,so you flashed it too...I'll try not to use wifi to see if my battery life got even better
THX it's work. A little bit smoothly RR3.

This only works on "real" Android devices, on our P6 u wouldn't see any difference. Okay may a little bit but doesn't weight
I don't understand why it would not work on p6 too?It is android device with miui right?
Its not a Real Android , P6 is a MTK Phone so its all just emulated

What are you waffling about? The P6 doesn't have a MTK CPU, nor is it emulating android. Did you pick up a knock off device? I ask because they all mainly use the MTK processor aha.
The Ascend P6 has a HUAWEI Hisilicon K3V2E which is based on the Cortex A9 processor and is clocked at 1.5GHz.

P6 is running Android on QEMU. You can google it.

Sorry, but youre wrong. p6 is running an emulation. You can check your phones startup scripts to be sure.

Well I'll be damned, so it is using QEMU emulation. I'd like to apologize on my remark. Still interested to see information backing up your claim that the P6 is using a MTK processor since there is no-where on the Internet that has made this statement. I've only found sites stating "This is not a MTK device" against the Ascend P6. If it infact is then false advertisement springs to mind.
well , if P6 is running an emulation , is there any problems ?
I don't get it, why is the P6 no running Android directly? Whats the matter? And what are the main disadvantages of emulating the OS?

1. Why does it emulate android?
A: Maybe Huawei wanted to save on development charges, they saved money by doing this.
2. Emulating uses much power, and as known, our 1,5ghz quad core processor is getting very low scores from benchmarks. This is mainly caused by emulation.
3. P6 Is the only phone emulating Android i know, so its completely new for developers. It makes it more difficult to port roms to this device. Maybe we would have CM already, if this device would run native android? Who knows...

Hi guys!!!
Im older user from HTC mobile, now I buy a new phone more chip, and won a new problems!
Srs., I've looking for features about my mobile (it is Motorola SPICE XT300), and this model only sell in Brazil / Canada / Argentina / Australia (i guess).
Looking in the website (gsmarena) I found the features about my phone, and its is the same about the Wildfire. look:
Android OS, v2.1 (Eclair)
CPU 528 MHz ARM 11 processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7225 chipset
So i heard about this model dont have a drivers for this chipset, cause i dont know, but motorola dont make this drivers. So i hear some people try porting other driver from this chipset in this model but its very very dificult found news about this. I have some helps from neopeek and other forums, here too, about porting this drivers.
So, this driver i guess stay in /system/lib/****.so - my question is, somebody knows how install the 3D driver for this chipset? If i download a CUSTOM ROM here, try to copy/paste in the same location those files could work? Please guys help me, I dont wanna lose my phone but dont wanna use without graphics (by the way its f**king bad do anything, its slow any apps who needs).
So any news about this? anything? some developer could help me? any one?
Thx guys, c ya ...
gsmarena has the specs of the wildfire wrong, it doesn't have a gpu
Pdadb should be better. If you have the msm 7225 then there is no gpu. The best way to check is run nenamark. If it gets 1fps then there is no gpu. If it gets 30-60 fps then there is a gpu

Nevertheless, the Wildfire is still a great phone, I'm loving it! Never regret it for a minute.

+1 for that
It's a great phone athough it doesnt have GPU. And i dont know what people expect for such a low price...lol I think there is no better phone for that money.
The ZTE Blade is a better option now however before that was released the Wildfire was very good value.

Seconded. At today's price point, there are much better phones than the Wildfire out there. But, ~6 months back, really, Wildfire was the only option if you wanted a budget Android, which is why, I am a bit disillusioned, but will continue to faithfully stick with my Wildfire.
I agree that now there are better phones in that price range. But look at the time when wildfire is released, almost a year ago and still it can compete. You must agree that even few months is relatively big period not to mention a whole year.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA Premium App
Good value? Yeah, maybe the first days of release, but it didn't take long for alot more valuable phones came along. All HTC phones is overpriced, and now with locked bootloaders, useless. Only reason I got it was becouse, at the time, it was the cheapest with a LED flashlight. If I only waited for the Defy instead, same price-range, but oh so much better phone on ALL fronts.
Ok guys! but the question its not about the wildfire, its is about this Motorola Spice..
So ok, i learn the Wildfire dont have gpu ok ...
So somebody have the nenamark.apk to install ? I just found the .zip file and I dont know how to install this on mobile.
I gonna make the test with this bench, cause if i got more then 1fps i have a gpu .. if not, i dont have and i guess this thread is closed.
Any one know something about this specific model? C ya.

As far as i know the processor is the same like the one on the 8X only that it`s downclocked to 1Ghz.If i manage to find the article where i read this i will post it here.

So probably is it possible to overclock the phone to 1.5GHz? If yes, can someone explain how?
right

Android overclocks with a custom kernel. Not sure how windows phones work when it boils down to the OS but if you can configure the deep, deep drivers within the windows phone you can probably overclock it much higher than 1.5 ghz.
My S3 has the same 1.5 S4 but its currently running at 2.1 ghz
I think it just might need a little time, but will come. Get some of the geniuses over here at XDA to help
AFAIK, not being a Windows Phone user, overclocking may be too tricky.

Yes.There is always a chance to overclock the processor but as far as i know it is to early for this to be done.Only time will tell.
So i gave up had the phone since 22 july a day less than month and i am dissapointed in the phone software(its the worst soft ever) mostly in music volume output but it looks good so i am bit sad that it has such a rubbish soft. Yesterday it went berserk and that was it for me went to shop and bought 2nd nicest phone on market htc one glamour red and o boy this phone is good and nice looking btw htc scored on antutu bench 25k from the box p6 scored 14k they difference is only 200mhz on cpu clock it shows how bad the huawei stock rom is written. As someone sayd the kernel is written for ics so good luck guys with your phones and u can waite for ages from huawei for soft updates its my 4th huawei and ever since they dont care about the updates or they are EXTREMELY slow(1 guy working ). The thing is that they stop developing soft when they release the phone as it seem to me.
You seriosly blame emotion ui for 11 k difference in bechmark? Dude. Htc one's SoC (snapdragon 600) is completely different from p6's SoC (k3v2 if I remenber correctly) They're from totally different leagues. Htc one is much more expensive, so sure you get more performance.

Nope not all on emui but it can do better and a lot better for instance take camera on p6 it lags on 1080p like hell on quad-core 1.5ghz??!! then some 3d game it's horrible I have gt-i9305lte aswell it scores with stock Rom 400 less than p6 on antutu but it won't lag on 1080p and runs the same game perfectly with no lag

Who said that the P6 competes with the HTC One? They are totally in a different class. The P6 is in the middle class and the One is in the Higher end class. If everyone has the money then most of us will probably buy the HTC one which is so much more expensive than the P6. Comparing the P6 and HTC One is unfair considering the difference in class and price bracket.
Personally I like this 'phone far more than any other I've had in recent times.
I've got some bluetooth headphones which give a real volume boost, I did find this a little low to start with, but my Sony Xperia Z was equally as low. Even without my bluetooth headphones, it would not have persuaded me to go back to the Sony or my (much louder) iPhone 5.
The HTC one would have been an option, if it had some additional memory capacity.
Enjoy your new 'phone.
Yes i admit while one red is 8.5 from 10 in design then P6 is clear 10/10 pure eyecandy but I can't cope with bad soft my nerves can't stand it. 1. K3V2 is kind lower class and roughly one year older than snapdragon 600
2. K3V2 is a non-mainstream CPU combining non-mainstream graphic card,
so, when running antutu or so, surely its performance can't match the snapdragon 600,
and it does have poor compatibility for many high-requirement games, but NOT all
but, for those who is not a real game player, K3V2 is good enough
Most important, it's beautiful and cheap, right?

For all those saying this phone can't run good games............I want to say that i Have Asphalt 8 pirated one in my P6 as GPS say its is incompatible.Asphalt 8 runs very smoothly on P6 not lags a bit. Some high graphics game lag bcz p6 gpu is not compatible with them. I had emailed the gameloft to make a8 compatible with p6 and they replied that they are working on it.But still A8 is running perfectly on low graphics "not very low". We cant run it on higher graphics as a8 is not further compatible with medium and high graphics. But soon it will become compatible.

Hello guys, i have a question, in some cellphone selling website here in venezuela, there are people saying that huawei is a crappy manufacturer, i know they have a crappy customer support, im aware of that, but, in that website they say that huawei's ascend p6 is a lower performance device, like an entry level. so i want to ask to you, the xda community: "what performance classification level is the ascend p6?"
is it low end? medium end? hig end? i know it have 4 cores, and gpu is not that good for graphics intensive games, without third parties apps. so please be neutral, not a fanboy, just the real oppinion about this phone.
Pd. i have one ascend p6, and one ascend w1.
Mid level, and a very good one.

It is very dizzy and laggy for a quad core, even phones like Xiaomi Mi2a (cheap dual core) feel alot faster and snappier.
Bad kernel and bad gpu drivers inside the kernel are the primary cause of this extreme underperforming.
Also a rare gpu that has nothing optimized for it.
The never Huawei devices on the other hand are alot better because of the mali gpu - these devices dont underperform

I am very interested if some of you could share their experience with the performance of either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Dimensity 9000 version.
Especially I'm interested in regards of Camera Performance (I heared that Snapdragon Version has a slightly better one), Gaming/Power Usage and overheating/thermal throtting.
Unfortunately I could not find any usefull comparison so far, which makes me curious how your experience is.

Not sure but -> Maybe the Dimensity variant does not have the large 20mm x 30mm² fingerprint sensor which would be too bad if true.

I am only guessing because Qualcomm has this technology "3D Sonic Max". There is no information that Mediatek has similar solution. At least I can't find such. If this is the case, then for me the Snapdragon version wins easily. This is my favourite feature in this phone.

Sure, if that is the case then I guess most people will choose the SD version. No one wants to pay the same price for less features.
Full YT video available with a full comparison. Seem like Snapdragon takes a the lead in every department plus benchmarks are higher. Dimensity couldn't even complete stress test without shutting down if that's anything to go by
Totally false. My dimensity completes any stress test. Runs cooler than SD. Battery life is awesome (look at the power consumption difference between them, published online)

That's the snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, not the normal without the "+" so it's possible the results are slightly different on the X80 Pro (with the SD without "+")
