I wouldnt get desperate and try anything. I created a root method for the HTC One XV hopefully it works bc I don't know because I do.t personally own or ever seen the phone.

No. All phone models are unique, even if they seem similar in appearance or model name.

There's a new thread over in android dev section with someone who is testing. Hoping it's true and patiently waiting. I have tried googling as well but all links lead to the same dead place as filipin said. I even soft bricked trying one of those bs one click script methods for ics and jb phones. Luckily RUU was here! Anyway let us know if anyone finds anything else please, I'll do the same!

Is there any chance in the world that HTC ONE X get's that ROM/UPDATE ?
Or should i buy a new phone ?
