How to change the soft key lineup like the LG G2? - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

Is it possible to rearrange the line up for the soft keys?
There's an xposed module for my G2, Is it also possible on my Nexus 7 2nd?
I'd rather have the back button on the right side.

Try GravityBox Xposed Module...it has some features that overrides stock navbar.Or...you can hide stock navbar and install UltimateDinamicNavbar from Playstore. It's very customizable.

Auto Hide Soft Keys

First off sorry if this is somewhere else but I have been through this forum in and out looking for ways to make my nav bar either smaller or hidden to get the most out my screen.
This app called
Auto Hide Soft Keys
Here
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmd.hidesoftkeys
This does it all!
Now I get my full 4.7 inch screen for all apps and have a nice trans soft key. Plus there is a toggle to turn them on or off at anytime.
You only need root for this.

Good app
There's a thread already for this app
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2253770&highlight=auto+hide+soft+keys
I use this app just for hiding soft keys and LMT launcher for navigation control.
Good combination.

Is this not what you're looking for?
Also 4.4.1 & 4.4.2 are supposed to have the transparent navbar as standard, but I'm running the N5 PORT rom so i wouldn't know.
well I tried it but it isn't always transparent it's only at the home page not I'm a open app or anything

+1
Nova Launcher's latest update enables transparent Nav and Status bars now.
I also wanted the navigation bars and status were transparent in all applications and this is only possible in immersive mode. I wonder if there is any way to use the status bars and immersive navigation mode instead of forward slashes. Or at least there is some way off the fixed bars in immersive mode without them disappear.
I've tried almost every rom but I have not yet found one that has it. my search must go on

Each app's developer needs to enable that functionality for the app in question.

I did grant it permission, but it still didn't work.
Somehow, after I installed Xposed framework, those effects started working

Your apk link is not working.........says you need permission to access file. You don't expect everyone to request permission to download the file do you?

i see an option in the menu to disable status and navigation bars, but when i click on it there is only the option to disable the status bar..... would be good if the navigation bar could be disabled too =)

It got "disabled" which means it's now the same as in the stock lockscreen (the little arrow if you're on KK, or the circle if you're on JB)
Thank you so much!
I was looking for an app or mod like this a long time!

Screen record shortcut?

Hi I was using my N7 on stock with GB and I had the option to screen record through the power menu, seemed to work great! But I just moved onto an aosp ROM and lost that feature, anyway to get it back?

Gravity box in xposed framework would let you, but its only for 4.0+ devices I think.

i know that gravity box can do that, but dont want to install GB on a custom Rom. Any alternatives?

Custom softkeys?

It's there a option available for the m8 that can customize the stock soft keys I'd rather have the menu button in the soft keys (use to Samsung button layout) I'm already rooted so I'm up for any option

I believe there are a few roms that have that capability such as viper with sense 6 or any GPE rom with Xposed since you can customize using the gravitybox module so long story short, you have a few options if you're willing to flash a custom ROM.
