It's there a option available for the m8 that can customize the stock soft keys I'd rather have the menu button in the soft keys (use to Samsung button layout) I'm already rooted so I'm up for any option

I believe there are a few roms that have that capability such as viper with sense 6 or any GPE rom with Xposed since you can customize using the gravitybox module so long story short, you have a few options if you're willing to flash a custom ROM.

I think (if I remember correctly) that in aokp or cm10, where you can configure the touch keys, there was the power menu stuff, you could put it by long press on the back button. I'm not sure about this anyway, I'm on my sense rc7 now

Is it possible to rearrange the line up for the soft keys?
There's an xposed module for my G2, Is it also possible on my Nexus 7 2nd?
I'd rather have the back button on the right side.

Try GravityBox Xposed Module...it has some features that overrides stock navbar.Or...you can hide stock navbar and install UltimateDinamicNavbar from Playstore. It's very customizable.

I would like to know if I had to be rooted to take advantage of the pie launcher. I would like to have that portion of the screen back. Is this possible?

Yes, You can hide the navbar buttons with a couple of methods (gravitybox works well) then install LMT launcher. Piece of cake.
You need to be rooted, absolutely.
I'm trying to root but my kids have left my laptop pretty much useless at this point. So I'll be rooting and flashing rinds this weekend at a friend's

I think Xposed framework with sense 6 toolbox or gravity box can do what you are looking to do.

This has been asked several times.
No, it isn't possible, the area under the screen can't register touch input.
I'm running GPE 4.4.3, and always use the Power Control widget on my second screen. But the standard version is all black, would love a transparent version, would go well with my other widgets.
Is that out there ?
