[Q] Questions on CM7

Hi
Just some questions to see if anyone has got this done before ..
1. Is there any app to link different emails and phone numbers like on sense?
2. I have disabled the stock lockscreen but still whenever i answer calls i have to rotate the locker. I hate the standard locker and thts the reason i bough widget locker. After disabling the stock lockscreen i thought i would be done with the ugly rotary but its still there. Anyway to get rid of it completely?
3. I love the miui music player and the sense camera. I know its impossible to get the sense camera on cm7. I downloaded a couple of miui music and miui cam apps but they are all either in chinese or dont isntall. Does anyone have a working miui cam and music that they can share?

You can do that by going into contacts, select edit contact, press menu and click on join. This will give you the same result.

MIUI Camera...Its working on CM7, just copy under /system/app and give the same permissions as stock camera.....reboot and you are done....

And that worked too . thanks. there are some minor issues with the spacing and text wrapping, but i think i can live with this. thanks a lot. Any chance on the music app???

I haven't tried that to work on CM7 though I have it at home. I am at work right now will try to send it once I reach home, which will be in another 5-6 hours...

[Q] Friendcaster prob

hey guys, my friendcaster notifications have stopped workin, is it any prob wit ant recent google apps update or something?
earlier used to work perfect, i formatted my phn for this, but no solution

Need help regarding Timescape

Hi All...
today i installed jelly bean on my xperia SL and i m verypleased with performance.. no problems and improved camera results and battry life nd no lags ok but i suddenly noticed one thing that timescape feed is not showing my msgs and call records i had xperia arc s before SL nd in that phone timescape showed everything....i checked settings but no luck.....facebook amd twitter feeds are ok and showing.....please advice wht to do??? thnkyou

sorry i dont understand which ad on?? there is no one for messages or calls.....nd when i open timescap it says no events but i hve messages

Open Timescape, touch the plus icon at the bottom, where you choose which providers you want to filter, there should be a + icon. Touch it, it will take you to the play Store.

Force stop,clear data. Try it.

ok i did all bt nothing worked for me....still no msgs and calls on my timescape feed widget...

[Q] XMultiWindow on P6 (KitKat)

Hi guys,
I'm trying to use XMultiWindow on my P6 with official Kitkat beta, but it's just doesn't work.
It doesn't display the neither the ring they mention nor the app chooser.
I installed it using the Xposed Installer.
Anyone could use it? Maybe on a previous firmware?
Correction:
The app is working, but the ring, and app chooser doesn't work. I think it's a problem with the "draw over other apps" function.

This should be brought to Developer´s attention. If possible send the author of xmultiwindow a logcat of your error so he can see if the issue for our phone can be solved.

It works kinda good in b125.. lags when choose apps, but then it works just fine =)

I was afraid of that. Than it should be an EMUI or firmware bug, as even facebook chat heads can't show up...

Yep, noticed same thing with chat heads in KitKat and installed b125 back..

To be honest I don't mind missing chat heads, But I'ld love try this multi window function... But it seems that I have to wait...

Facebook videos not playing

I am using rombuzz by pranjal on my canvas 4. Whenever i try to play a video in facebook app, fb app crashes. Plz help me

that is not an issue with the ROM brother that is an end issue from facebook app itself ,
whatever rom you are on it would keep happening until facebook fixes it

it might be possible to be an issue with the ROM , i will soon flash a more performance oriented ROM to answer this for you
until then try posting in ROM buzz thread itself so that pranjal the developer can help you too!

i have stock rom v1 but i have the same problem with facebook app, no video playback and it crashes:angel:

Came to know that this is a facebook app bug in canvas 4...nothing to do with the rom

i have my new canvas 4 and fb videos play fine on the app on the stock rom!

Videos play fine on Facebook v7. I'm still using version 7 of Facebook instead of version 20 lol. Yes, it's a Facebook problem.

Hi,
Seems like an updated firmware is available with a fix for facebook. ( seems like this is released to moulnisky today only.

I haven't checked or installed the new f/w. but in the Software history.xls file which is attached along with the link says so...

There is probably some display resolution error which micromax is not concerned to solve or they dont have quality engineers
because of which many games like cut the rope, vector MC4 are not running.
Perhaps you can install the following roms in which games as well as fb app videos work:
#1. Speed Rebirth v2:
1)This rom has no bugs and games work fb video works.
2) camera is lenovo supercam 13MP is quiet buggy but can be updated to get solved.
3) has soft navigation keys (eats up the screen space by 1cm). cuz the hard nav keys are lit off but are fuctioning which is annoying.
4)music app is walkman with sony equalizer. (If u need you can install Viper4android via playstore)
5)one more annoying thing I feel personally is that the status bar is almost filled due to the big network bars and slanted battery bar
#2. PureXperia Z2:
1)Even this rom is good except one bug which is due to the storage swap(internal is shown as external and external shown as internal) Even if you use the unswapper by default apps like whatsapp and facebook are installed on the external SD card as the system considers it as internal SD card.
2)camera is default SONY camera 13MP bugless.
3)Music app is Walkman updated with viper4android equalizer.
4)Initially this ROM didnt have the soft nav keys but the update brought the soft nav keys which are always annoying as we have got the hard nav keys functioning which cannot be disabled even if the backlight is off.
#3. Kitkat cynogenmod rom
1) Even this rom is good except the storage bug and the camera is down at 8MP.
4. Safari v3:
1) this is also a good rom to get a close to stock experiance and no storage bug but is quiet unstable sometimes wifi hotspot doesnt work GPS pull down button gets stucked (rarely).
2) camera is default camera of canvas 4 and is down at 8MP.
3)Music player is default SAMSUNG music player and has the viper4android equalizer.
4)Does not have the soft nav keys
Note: Due to battery tweaks there is a caliberation error but its safe because battery is shown 10% more than what it is in actual
Still I am working on ways to solve the problem on the default stock rom

As I said, I'm not the one who upload the rom . I only shared the link . Moulnisky needs to upoad the rom.

Facebook video not playing
Friends if you can not play Facebook videos on Micromax Canvas 4 A210 Just like the Video
and then go to your Facebook Activity Log From there you can Play Your liked FACEBOOK VIDEOS. HAVE FUN.
