(How to) charge your grand very fast.. - Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 Themes and Apps

Hello friends today I will tell you how u can charge your grand very fast.. As we all know grand takes quite a long time to charge.. So I will tell u a simple trick to charge your grand faster than ever...
What u have to do just replace your Samsung's data cable to nokia's data cable.. now many people will me ask what's the difference in those data cable.. guyzz there is a big logic behind this..
In samsung's data cable there are just 4pins in pin.. But in nokia's or in lg's data cable there are 5pins in pin that's why they charge very fast.. Take a look on picture I have lg's data cable and it have 5pins in pin..
So guyzz just use nokia's or lg's data cable to charge your grand very fast.. believe me guyz it really works..

Hit thanks if I helped you...

Just check in pin if there are 5pins like the above picture then use it.. if there are less than 5pins then its same like samsung's data cable...

wow thank u so much thank thank u thank..............!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm already using my sister's Sony cable, not because of its charging time but because Samsung cable is so crappy... A Sony cable won't easily disconnect unlike the samsung one... from my experience. I will check the charging duration and compare it with samsung's... Sony's also has 5 pins

Where can i get the cable?
From online? Stores

does it lower battery life cycle?
It can be done, I think. You might need a customized data cable (not sure, just airing my opinion).
No it doesn't ruin battery life. It's actually better to charge li-ion batteries in smaller intervals than letting it drain to 0 then charging to 100 in one go all the time.

oh thanks, how many times should i do a battery calibration in one month?

ur USB cable has 4 pins..destroy the leftmost pin and the rightmost pin of ur USB cable..thats for power..the 2 center pins are for data
Calibrate only when you think something's wrong with it. Some people recommend calibrating after flashing a new rom, or after restoring from a nandroid backup.

MHL / HDMI

I bought MHL + HDMI cable to connect my #galaxynexus to my Samsung tv but it didn't work, I bought it from ebay and it's mark as for #galaxynexus comptable... Or what did I miss? Do I need to do extra configuration? Help please
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Did you power the MHL by hooking up a powered micro USB to the female micro USB port?
I didn't understand what you are talking about but I do hook the MHL to the HDMI cable to my pc...
What should I do first?

Btw I'm using a custom rom AOkP build27
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
As well as connecting your phone and TV up, it will require more power. There is a microUSB port on the side of the MHL adapter, plug your charging cable into it.
Oh okay! Thats means I still need to buy an axtra connector/cable to make it work?

And it went too far
If you're still having trouble after you get the charger plugged in, keep this in mind. My GN will only enter MHL mode if I plug the cable in with the phone's screen turned off and the TV already tuned to the correct input. If I plug the cable in with the phone turned on, or switch the TV to the right input after I've plugged it in, it won't work. I have a cheap Chinese cable though. Good luck!
With my Samsung MHL adapter from eBay the wireless LAN stops working immediately when I plug it in... as far as I found a lot of people have that problem :-( :-( I tried several different USB power sources, nothing worked

Galaxy note II charging slowly

Hello I don't know if I can find some help here but I'm currently running tweaked Rom on my GNII and have since then noticed that it charges very slow. I've got two different samsung chargers and they both do the same thing. While it's plugged in it seems to still lose juice. It charged for over 6 hrs and only made it to 45% has anyone encountered this issue?? Thank you.

You have tweaked voltage control of your rom. Which tweak tool you've used? Check if there any reset to default option available. If not, reflash rom with all three wipes. Everything will be fine then.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
I haven't noticed any type of voltage control on the other tweaked Rom. Thing is i used my brothers charger at his house and it charged ridiculously fast. Even now I've had it plugged into the computer at school and it's been at 59% for last 4 hrs. I know it's not the same voltage but it just hasn't moved at all.

Try installing app call Galaxy Charging Current in the Playstore
It has free and paid apps .. just get the free app to test your charger current to your phone
Only pay attention to the value on Maximum .. You should be getting at least 1000mAH to 1800mAH ..
normally I would get 1200-1500 mAH .. You will be very lucky to get 1700-1800mAH
Samsung are well known for the bad usb cable data which often cause slow charging ..
Bad cable will only flow 500mAH too your phone and that pretty much like charging through PC which will take forever to full charging

Sometimes just replacing the samsung usb cable data will fix the problem .. Most of the time the culprit is the usb cable data
Another best option is to use Blackberry usb cable data.. their cables are good and more durable somehow compare to samsung cable
You're most likely using the charging cable of another phone. Use the note ii cable that came with the box. I used my S2 cable and the voltage is only around 780. Thenote ii cable got to 1800, big different.

PLease help...Charging problem

Hello
My Gnex started to act weird. It shows that it is charging but it is not connected to anything. If I connect it to a charger it takes about 20-30sec to start charging.
Could it be a faulty battery?
Please help.
Thanks
Probably no . Just restart your phone twice and try to clear the cache .Then it would be normal...

Yes. It is the port. Damn it. I cleaned it and it worked for 5 min. Now it acting up again.
The part is on its way. I think I got a good deal for 10$ with shipping included. I managed to repair the actual mini usb port by pushing on the two top metal clips and it seams that it is working. But better be safe and replace it with new part.

(Q)charging for the whole night

guys is it advisable to charge my SGG d whole night as i dnt get enough time to charge,i charge from 1am to 10 will it effect my battery in any manner and will it effect my phone too???
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
I would not advise that as the battery may get heated up and if there are fluctuations it may damage your charger but if it is very necessary you can do it on your own risk as I have done it once!

From galaxy grand 4.2.2 firmware..
Switch off your device & then connect it to charger.
It will not harm your device although when phone is in switch off mode it will not allow excessive power, so effective to your battery life too
