i find it annoying,,, does the battery same with ipad 2?
does it lower battery life cycle?
It can be done, I think. You might need a customized data cable (not sure, just airing my opinion).
No it doesn't ruin battery life. It's actually better to charge li-ion batteries in smaller intervals than letting it drain to 0 then charging to 100 in one go all the time.

oh thanks, how many times should i do a battery calibration in one month?

ur USB cable has 4 pins..destroy the leftmost pin and the rightmost pin of ur USB cable..thats for power..the 2 center pins are for data
Calibrate only when you think something's wrong with it. Some people recommend calibrating after flashing a new rom, or after restoring from a nandroid backup.

whenever my phone is powered off (or I power it off) while it's on the charger
it will power back on. anyone know why it's doing this? could it be the USB wire/charger?
The screen should just light up with a battery symbol to show charging.

it SHOULD do this, but it doesn't
if the phone is off and I plug the charger in
it will start charging, but it will also power on :|

what do you mean? like a docking station?
or just a regular Samsung charger that would fit my phone and several other Samsung phones?
They mean a charger that fits the battery to charge it outside of the phone.

no, I don't need to go through THAT trouble, lol
always while im home ,,, putting my fone in charger may be whole day in charging ,,, is that harmful to bettary and fone ,,, its once it become 100 % unplug it
No, newer phones cannot be "overcharged" any more
so that mean i can put it in charger whatever it takesssss????

To make sure, you have it disconnected and it's giving this error?
Maybe something on the MicroUSB leads that makes it think it's still charging?

Probably the easiest and best choice in this case. Hope they can repair it for you or offer a replacement.
Corrosion on charge port! The smallest bit can cause this! Happened with mine... I can fix.. For a price lol jk... I really can fix and really id need a price but just try to safely get charge port off and clean the crap out of it and solder it back on without damaging it

So I woke up this morning to a full battery and when I unplugged it said 0% and died any input.
Besides, an unlikely, software issue it is most probably a faulty battery. Get a new one!

Of course you pulled the battery? Do you have CWM? Reset batterystats, I read it's useless but worth a shot? Try a different cable to charge? Different outlet adapter? Different outlet?

Hello I don't know if I can find some help here but I'm currently running tweaked Rom on my GNII and have since then noticed that it charges very slow. I've got two different samsung chargers and they both do the same thing. While it's plugged in it seems to still lose juice. It charged for over 6 hrs and only made it to 45% has anyone encountered this issue?? Thank you.

You have tweaked voltage control of your rom. Which tweak tool you've used? Check if there any reset to default option available. If not, reflash rom with all three wipes. Everything will be fine then.

I haven't noticed any type of voltage control on the other tweaked Rom. Thing is i used my brothers charger at his house and it charged ridiculously fast. Even now I've had it plugged into the computer at school and it's been at 59% for last 4 hrs. I know it's not the same voltage but it just hasn't moved at all.

Try installing app call Galaxy Charging Current in the Playstore
It has free and paid apps .. just get the free app to test your charger current to your phone
Only pay attention to the value on Maximum .. You should be getting at least 1000mAH to 1800mAH ..
normally I would get 1200-1500 mAH .. You will be very lucky to get 1700-1800mAH
Samsung are well known for the bad usb cable data which often cause slow charging ..
Bad cable will only flow 500mAH too your phone and that pretty much like charging through PC which will take forever to full charging

Sometimes just replacing the samsung usb cable data will fix the problem .. Most of the time the culprit is the usb cable data
Another best option is to use Blackberry usb cable data.. their cables are good and more durable somehow compare to samsung cable
You're most likely using the charging cable of another phone. Use the note ii cable that came with the box. I used my S2 cable and the voltage is only around 780. Thenote ii cable got to 1800, big different.
