I'M JUST A 11 YEARS OLD!
Yeah,so.. I rooted my phone and flashed AOKP... It's very good rom ,but I'm one of these people who don't know what they want
I opened SUPERSU and i found a option Unroot. Clicked on it and my phone was unrooted. Well... I do the OEM lock but my settings still had the rom options... I tried wipe cache, restoring stock kernel (even i don't know what is that) and I still have the ROM options... Help.. My phone is showing "NFC service stopped." Help me bc I'm in school tomorrow and I need my phone.. Please help me! Really I need help!
Sorry for my bad English! I'm from Bulgaria and I'm learning

You can use fastboot to flash back to stock using an image from here
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
This will wipe the phone!
Or unlock the boot loader again and flash a recovery and a fresh ROM
Good luck!

Use ODIN 1.55 For worst case scenarios. Put phone into fastboot then flash stock image. Or use a toolkit. Should be the problem if you got drivers installed and working.

From your words I assume you can still power up the phone normally as well as access recovery mode, right? Back up storage contents, do an OEM unlock, flash any stable ROMs around and you should be fine.

Rooitng the Gnex

Hi,
I bought the GNexus a month ago, its my 1st android device. (I had a Blackberry for the last 3 years).
I have unlocked my Gnex, and rooted it, then i have installed yakju in order to get rid of my yakjuux ROM, it was my 1st time doing it... Everything worked fine, all my apps were automatically redownloaded and reinstalled from my google account. (Very nice feature).
But for some reason now, I have lost my root acces and I am not sure why or how.. is it normal? I have installed root checker, and supser user returns messages saying he cant get root privileges on my phone.
I tried rooting the phone using superboot. Everyting seemd to have worked fine:
C:\Nexus\r3-galaxynexus-superboot\r3-galaxynexus-superboot>install-superboot-win
dows.bat
C:\Nexus\r3-galaxynexus-superboot\r3-galaxynexus-superboot>fastboot-windows.exe
boot boot.superboot.img
downloading 'boot.img'... OKAY
booting... OKAY
The phone reboted but stayed at the Google logo for like 3 mins. I pulled the battery and after that the phone rebooted normally except superuser cant access root.
Any tips or help is welcome on how to root the phone (already unlocked)
Thanks
You should have left it on there! Mine got stuck on the Google boot logo for around 10 minutes before it was done? I was just about to pull it before it booted up. Go through the process again and give it time

Go on YouTube and look for zedomax. He has an easy root video with a link to all the software

when you installed the yakju ROM to change yakjuux it deleted root because you fully wiped your phone for a yakju build. just reapply superboot (or install clockwork recovery and flash su.zip that will give you root) and you'll have root.
either that or flash a custom ROM with clockwork recovery and you'll have root.
Another thing is always make a backup of your current favorite rom before flashing anything. I have my original rom and 1 favorite rooted rom on backup at all times. If you do this and encounter problems you can always go in recovery and restore your custom rooted rom. The only reason I keep a stock rom on is in case I have to return the phone. You can remove your unlock symbol by going in fastboot and typing (fastboot OEM lock) I think! This was how I locked my bootloaders back up on my beloved nexus s, good luck and pm me if you need anything

Didn't know about su.zip option in CWM, where can I find this zip file for the GNex GSM?

[SOLVED]My Nexus is stuck in a bootloop

So yea im stuck in a bootloop. My phone all of a sudden rebooted itself and it never went past the boot animation. I am able to boot into recovery and fastboot. When i do a factory reset and system restore then flash a the rom all over again it still bootloops. I dont have a nandroid backup cuz they got deleted from my sd car. Is there anyway to flash it to complete stock through recovery or use adb through recovery flash to stock. please any help would be much appreciated.

I used toolkit 5.4 and it worked like a charm Thanks for the advice and assurance buddy, i did panic a bit though. This never happened to me in all my time flashing, well ive gotten bootloops but a quick full wipe and reflash of the rom fixed it, not this time. Thanks again.

Find the yakju Odin file on xda or Google it. Extract and run the exe. Put your phone in download mode (volume down + power) plug it in via USB and wait till it restores your phone. You will have a factory restored 4.0.1 Galaxy Nexus after. Once your phone is restored, you should be prompted for 4.0.2 OTA update.

its stock JB rom flashed it over with galaxy nexus toolkit and downloaded the rom from google's site so its not a zip flashable
thanks all for replys and sorry for thw wrong section
im not sure but i remember on my g2x you could hook up phone from recovery mode and mount it on the computer with sd card .. have you looked around in CWM? This is your fault to be honest you deserve this for not making a NAND back up. ALWAys MAKE A BACK UP! period. There is a reason why devs and everyone else stress' it so much.
Sert00 is right. Flash any [previously] working ROM on it. It will be a dirty flash and some stuff won't work, but you'll be able to backup your data. You'll reflash again later

Unfortunately, at least with these beta realeases of JB, usb mount via recovery almost never work.
Try what sert00 told you.

[Q] Problem after flashing, phone doesnt fully turn on

Good Evening !
At the begining I'd like to sory for my english. as it's not my first language.
So... Yesterday i've tried to flash a new ICS XDark v0.2 rom in to my xperia play R800i.
I have unlocked a boot loader and rooted my phone aswell.
Installation went well with flashboot, after installation my phone rebooted, and when it tried to turn one it stucked on "sony erricson" screen, for few secs, turned off and on again... and again stuck at the same moment... and same thing over and over again.
Someone on forum said it looks like karnel problem... and sugest to flash it.
So i have read on internet quite a lot about flashing kernels, to try to flash it.
I've downloaded doomkarnel v03.zip, and tried to flash it with flashtool, but it didn't work cause to flash it with flashtool i need ftf file which i cant find to download, so i used a fastboot to flash it, but when i tape command in CMD it says "can not load image"
so again i have started to search on google to fix this problem but nothing worked.
I decidet to flash diffrent rom just to make my phone working again so i've downloaded cyanogen 7 as ftf. file so i could flash it with flash tool...
When i was loading file to flashtool it wanted me to connect phone with pressed "back" button, so a did it.. but after few sec flashtool said "flashing filed"... dont know why...
I dont know what to do... I am trying to fix it 12 h today... and tried 5 yesterday... Please help me, I need my phone working ;/
Maybe there is anyother way to install stock rom back again or any thing to make it works again?
Really need help.
Thank you very much,
Jake.

Need help unbricking

I recently tried to flash back to stock on my nexus 7 2013. i used the nrt 1.8 program and while in the middle of flashing the system i got failed unknown chunck type error. my nexus is currently bootlooping. how do i fix this and how to i get into recovery?
Ok sorry for the lack of detail. I was kinda panicking. I was using NRT to reflash stock (the tablet was ok i just wanted to go back to stock because i had a custom kernel on) and i got a weird error when it was flashing the system. It said failed unknown chunck. I can boot up and it will have the google logo (which is a good sign) and idk how to get into bootloader. Can someone please help me with my issue. And yes i did try and use the force flash option.

Well, not sure what program you are referring to. But to get into the bootloader, turn off the tablet. Then, hold volume up + power. That'll get you into your bootloader. From there, use fastboot commands to flash the factory image.

https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images - download the image for razor. The use fastboot to flash it, as the user above me suggested.
