Anyone get the tablet UI working on GSM GNex with Stock 4.0.2?
Tried a lot of DPI like 160, 180, 192 ... but System-UI crashes all the Time.
Had a lot of work getting my locked device to work again. Stock launcher closed direct after booting at 180 & 192. On 160 the launcher runs great but no nav. buttons appear.
Any ideas? I want a small Tablet!

U have to hide your navigation buttons...customs roms like AOKP have the feature, but idk how to do it with stock

Think it is: "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" in "build.prop".
But that hide the Touch keys also.
Had a lot of trouble get the buttons back on my locked device.
Had forget to launch USB debug before rebooting. After booting only black screen and no adb, no settings, no buttons and no launcher...

That is the correct line to add to the build prop if you are not using AOKP. With AOKP you just need to close the nav bar in the power menu.
When you boot into a tablet density of 192 or lower you should get the Nav buttons on the bottom within the tablet bar.
On the CDMA versions, we needed to swap out the Phone APK with a WVGA phone APK in order for the phone not to close. Not sure if GSM is the same. The density's that worked were 192 - 185. 160 will force close the phone.
I haven't tried the tablet mod on stock though. I ran it on CM9, AOKP, and Axiom.
Also, I freeze the stock launcher with titanium and use Apex.
Okay.... I added this line and had no more nav bar, no buttons and no tablet bar! Nothing!
Phone works on 160, but no buttons! But 160 are also a little bit to small for me!

Use AOKP milestone 4 and change the DPI to 160. It has the tablet status bar, soft keys, etc. Even the notifications work the same way that tablets do!
If you want the phone app to work, it has been suggested to take the one from the Droid Incredible (just check the aokp downloads and take the phone apk from the droid incredible zip) and to push it to the phone via adb
I don't want to unlock and wipe my device if possible!
Other ideas?

Change back to your regular resolution and remove the line in your build prop. You can use an app called button savior if you need to navigate...

I just remembered you need to have root to use button savior anyway. I thought you wanted to get back to stock.
Why don't you just root your phone. It is so simple with this phone. The tool does it for you.
You can never win with a non rooted Nexus no matter what you are trying to accomplish. That is just the way it is.

Hi,
we have release a very important update of Extended Controls.
Now, the team that manage this app is JustBit and we need a tester that tell us if flashlight toggle works correctly.
Specially, for LG Nexus 4.
Thanks.

Hi, any news?
hi,
wanted to know if there's any way to add a button in the multitasking of nexus 7 2013 that kills all apps in the multitasking. this could be done by using gravity box , but since i updated to 4.4 it doesn't function properly even after the xposed framework updated. im looking for something similar to the remove all button available on Samsung devices. suggestions please
thanx!! :fingers-crossed:

Toilet paper mod won't work if you don't have the kill all apps button before.

I bought my galaxy nexus 2 months ago and few days back i found that my device is suffering from screen burn
I want to remove it so can any one develop me a white soft keys and navigation bar theme????
I would be very thankful
You can edit your navigation bar and your softkeys with many ROMS
Inviato dal mio Galaxy Nexus utilizzando Tapatalk
can't change color
I have tried cynogen , slim, xenonhd, aokp, sourcery and few others but only rom that gave me the authority of changing soft keys was sourcery and it allowed me to change the buttons not the whole color
Use Softkeyz from the Play Store.

Hello Guys,
I need some help. Yesterday i have installed PA Beta 5 on my Nexus 7 (2013) but i can't find the Hybrid Properties in Settings.
Do i have to activate something to access them?
Thanks in advance.

You probably can't find them because they haven't added them to KK yet.
KitKat removed some essential system files which were needed for the PA functions
