theme request - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I bought my galaxy nexus 2 months ago and few days back i found that my device is suffering from screen burn
I want to remove it so can any one develop me a white soft keys and navigation bar theme????
I would be very thankful

You can edit your navigation bar and your softkeys with many ROMS
Inviato dal mio Galaxy Nexus utilizzando Tapatalk

can't change color
I have tried cynogen , slim, xenonhd, aokp, sourcery and few others but only rom that gave me the authority of changing soft keys was sourcery and it allowed me to change the buttons not the whole color

Use Softkeyz from the Play Store.

[REQUEST] - NAVBAR MOD for Commotio\VanirAOSP v3.0 ROM

Hi at all! I think that our Nexus has one big quality: the screen, HD and wide. BUT, since physical buttons were replaced by digital ones inside our precious screen, it appears like... there's something that cover it... that disturbs... NAVBAR!! TOOO BIIIGGGG!!!
So I'm looking for a working shrink navbar mod (30-32dpi) for Commotio/Vanir ROM, the fastest one ever used... so smooth, snappy... fantastic! I tried some of CM-based mod, 30-32dpi, but anyone of them seems to work: phone boot looping.
So if there's someone that could give me (us) tips or something to work on or to try... would be great!
Try Paranoid Android! 2.50 comes with and option to extended the desktop (hold the power button and select it from the options menu). Basically removes the nav bar and the notification bar for a fuller screen. Plus, it's a Beautiful rom.

Changed rom some days ago.. And a solution can't be so drastic!
But it's important to see that a dev team thinks like me, like many other people tired of this fat navbar.

AOSP Keyboard Next Word Prediction

Hi all. I have noticed this problem in ALL the custom ROMs I have used. Yet I searched the forums and got no solution.
The next word prediction does not work in the keyboard. It only worked for me in the stock rom. How do I fix this issue?
Please someone help

Are you wiping before install?

Thanks for your suggestion but I wanted a solution to the problem not changing the keyboard altogether
And I hate the numeric keyboard of SwiftKey and the themes are outrageous.

I like SwiftKey but I do hate that numeric keyboard, and you're right about the themes. They first of all don't offer many, and the only one (IMO) that's decent or good is the default one.

Recently on the galaxy nexus section they managed to port the lock screen but it was not just normally flash able, a lot of files had to be tinkered with and was not for all 3 variants.

Ios cannot be ported it is closed source. If you want the lockscreen use an Apo called espied locker, works exactly like the iphone lockscreen.

I don't remember if the one I saw was touchwhiz, but I also saw a lockscreen porting tutorial and it was the same way. apps and jar files had to be decompiled, etc. for every single rom individually, every time they update to keep it current. It would really be a big project to keep a running database of them....I think this is why no one has posted a pre-made one. They don't want the inevitable flood of request posts. Imagine keeping up with just PA, AOKP, CM, and PAC rom every release...just those four alone would be time consuming enough

Strange BUGS GNexus Stock 4.3

Hello. I'm running stock android 4.3 on my Galaxy Nexus. I installed it trough my computer (not with Toolkit but in cmd). After installing it, I have some problems and I'm not sure if they're happening just to me or to everyone.
1. When I open Fliboard and see some articles, then when I close the app and go to the launcher, it seems to have closen and it restarts itself. I can only see the apps drawer icon and a second later I see all my apps and widgets on the homescreen. That happened another time I wasn't using Flipboard.
2. Sometimes when I pull down the notifications bar it seems a little bit laggy (only at the beginning). Before it reaches the middle of the screen it is smooth again.
I thought about doing a Factory Reset in Settings (remember I have everything Stock including recovery and kernel) but I don't know if I will lose my apps or just my data (accounts and stuff like that)
PS: I have an app installed called "LatteScreen" which is basically a lockscreen replacer. Just to let you you.
Firstly only a handful of apps are updated for 4.3, the rest have to make the change for it. You would need to be patient with the releases as the app is not optimized for 4.3. That includes flipboard, and the lockscreen app you use.

The lockscreen works really good. I just mentioned it so that you knew. Maybe it was consuming a lot of RAM so Launcher had not RAM enough to keep working.

This reminds me of when widgetlocker was released back then for ICS and Gingerbread, it wasn't optimized for ICS and while people say the app worked flawlessly it was only because it ate most of the resources.

"laggy" and "not smooth" are totally subjective and there's been a ton of circlejerks around it already. What someone sees as ok, another finds laggy.

I experienced that slight stutter pulling the notification bar down and on other parts of the UI. It's flippin' Google's stock 4.3 kernel. It's not aggressive enough. I simply flashed Golden Kernel and have it running GoldenX governor with a better I/O scheduler. Part of the 'bug' problem solved.
I've seen some kernels. Which one do you recommend me to flash?
You think if I do a factory reset it will work better? (Will I lose my apps?)
Edit: this is not a problem of Flipboard because it happened to me using Tapatalk and Stock Browser.
Does it happen to you? It didn't even happen on my ZTE Skate!!
