I saw that there was an Ubuntu Touch port for the d2spr but after reading through the thread I found that it was zonked. I've yet to find any information in regards to FirefoxOS B2G.
Has anyone successfully operated either of these OS's? Are they worth flashing? Are they even available to the Sprint Galaxy S III?

I have been unable to find a rom update for my ppc 6900. I currenty have the stock rom of 1.12.651.1 dated 09/8/07 and a radio version of 2.13.00. I used to own the mogul before I changed to the touch and was wondering if I can update the touch rom with the mogul rom seeing that they are basically the same phone and have much of the same componants on it. I am wondering if I would loose the touch flo interface if I was to do this. From what I hear when and if the official touch rom is released from sprint it will unlock the internal GPS and will update the radio version as well. I am kinda leary of using the unlockers floating around or unstable roms that might brick my phone. If anyone has a Sprint Touch and was able to update their phone with a newer rom and radio version could you please fill me in.

Wondering if anyone will port it to our device to see how it will run since we have CM10.1 and that is a requirement for it to actually run.

Hi everyone. I'd like to root + unlock my phone for free, hence why I'm here.
Now I appreciate all the work everyone has done first of all but the documentation is a bit lacking here. I've found countless threads telling me how to unlock the Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE on Rogers in Canada. Model SGH-I727R aka skyrocket? Android version 4.1.2. Kernel version I don't know it's not even close to what people are saying it should look like. Some flibertygibbit number that I can type out if needed.
But every time I read a thread, some file is missing or the link is broken or it asks for a different version of android or it asks me to find the kernel version and tells me it should look like XXYY but it looks more like JHAGUFGU.
Can anyone please direct me to a WORKING and RECENT thread that doesn't have broken links and will actually work on my phone and version. Or tell me how to root it properly with the files necessary.
I swear I used search :S
and google. Everything is from 2011 or 2.3.5/6

Hey guys! I am pretty new to a lot of this rooting and custom ROM installs. I recently picked up an Asus TF300T from a friend at work which i have root(the easy part). The reason why i was looking into this or even a laptop was because i wanted to start tinkering with pen testing with Kali Linux. After a lot of research, trying to retain what information i could, i have found there is an image for Kali for armel. This brings 2 questions to mind that i cannot find the answers to. 1 - Even though the CPU on my Asus tablet is ARMv7 will armel images work? From what i have found, i would want to use an armhf image to flash to the device due to the version of the CPU. And 2 - Is there a distro(i have been unsuccessful finding one) that has the drivers required to make a smoothing working environment? During the course of my research into this issue, i have found there are some distributions of Ubuntu that currently work with my tablet. More specifically Ubuntu Touch(i think?). This got me thinking, since both Kali and Ubuntu are both Debian based distros(i could be wrong, please correct me if i am) could i take the section of the file system from Ubuntu Touch that has the drivers for my tablet that allow it to work correctly and replace it with the section of the file system for the ARM image of Kali? I should mention that i have been able to get Kali to install and run with Linux Deploy. However, i feel it is slower than i was anticipating. And all the tools are there, they just do not open for some reason. Which is a whole different issue that i haven't figured out yet. I was hoping that perhaps one of you may have an idea if the two questions i have posed will work, or could maybe shed some light on how to go about accomplishing what i am trying to do. Or if any of you know of a version of Kali that will work on my tablet or maybe even one someone has already built for this particular model. Any guidance, tips, or knowledge on this subject will be very much appreciated. I understand going out and buying a laptop or a tablet with an image supported on Kalis website would be the ideal and most efficient solution, but i have a bad habit taking the hard way to gain some more information and knowledge haha. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and thanks in advanced for any responses .

I have a Galaxy Tab3 10.1 tablet I would like to install Windows OS or ubuntu on as I have read it is possible and x86 architecture. I cannot seem to accomplish this. Also this is purely experimental and don't really care about this tablet all that much. Or if anybody Any help would be very appreciated with this or if anybody is aware of a way to run pc based software
You should have posted this in the Q&A section.
You can't install Windows on the tab 3 for now.
However, you can install T3buntu (Ubuntu for the tab 3), this post explains everything: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2573441
