I believe this was Jedi V2, and his kernel at the redline. I got my best numbers by letting the phone sit idle for a while, then testing.

Stock deodexed, Lean Kernel by Imoseyon and top secret settings and procedures.

How to get comparable scores? Try to OC the CPU and GPU as much as possible, increase the thermal precaution limit (Kernal w/ toolbox settings), and toss it in the freezer so it doesn't throttle from heat; BAM! Unrealistically high and non-applicable real life socres.

I'm noticing a big battery drain from my screen, just curious what other peoples usage is like and what you have for brightness settings:

I've always had the understanding that your screen should use the most. Here is mine in HORRIBLE coverage (no bars and back and forth from 3G to 1x) normally my screen % is pretty close to yours. I am running aokp build 38 with auto brightness oc to 1113 max 245 min uv -1 step across the board with smartassV2 governor and noop scheduler.

Mine usually looks like yours. Only difference in our setups is I'm on the v10 kernel. (Not 10.5)
Another way to increase battery life/decrease that screen percentage is to use custom backlight settings and levels. I found some in a thread here a while back that helped my battery life significantly on the stock battery. Using the same setup as above poster and the custom backlight settings I get ~3 days on an extended battery with light usage.
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda premium
I think 10.5 is not great on battery life.
I can provide the v10 kernel via Dropbox if you guys want....I haven't seen it anywhere lately.

Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
I'm also running Aeroevan's CM9 (7/12), but using the 10.5 kernel. No overclocking, and I have the brightness on auto at all times. Have the wifi on when at home, scarcely have GPS on. Sync on all the time. I usually get two days of battery life, but at that point the battery goes down to under 10%, so I usually charge at least once a day to keep it higher.

[Kernel][Apr 26] Perseus

This is a direct port of my kernel on the international I9300 Galaxy S3 and sidekick to the international N7100/5 Note 2 kernels.
Recap of features:
CPU overclocking up to 1.8GHz and undervolting from 600mV to 1400mV.
GPU overclocking and undervolting.
GPU scaling reworked.
Screen sharpness and colour modifications.
Extended Pegasusq and improved Performance governors.
Removed Touch Booster and replaced with custom Flexrate mechanic.
Improved scheduler power management for improved idle residencies on auxiliary CPUs.
USB charging rate limit increased to 900mA.
This is supposed to be merely a proxy thread. Please refer to the N7100/5 thread for full changelogs, explanations, bug-reports and other issues. Kernel for specific device versions will be posted here.
This kernel is for the North American T-Mobile variant SCH-T889. Versions for other variants are found in their respective forums.

No, because they're useless. If you want to change the scaling logics then pegasusq has all the variable knobs configurable to tweak or emulate other governors at disposition.
I'd also prefer if people stop posting Quadrant scores as it's a completely outdated and non representative benchmark.

The stock ROM has always been the fastest. I have about 160 Apps installed. The trick to get the stock ROM real fast is to delete the thermald binary and then undervolt it to keep the temps down. I run 150mv undervolt.

Scores
first pic is current and the other is my record. Also is my record using quadrant but i heard it isnr as accurate so i dont use it anymore... both AnTuTu pics running nexOgen 1.6 and ZVC viper OC kernel, interactive Governor at 1.836 Max Freq. Tons of apps installed, and lots of tweaks/mods.
I got 18655 running Spleef's Pacman rom full throttle and 18509 running Neighborhood's Pacman rom full throttle. It only drops down to about 18000 when I make the numbers more conservative for battery conservation. Not bad...
This is what I get running my normal daily driver at 1.5ghz. Rooted, unlocked stock zvc using viper1.1 kernel. Performance is great even at 1.5 but I get anywhere from 24-30 hours of battery use on a full charge with moderate/average use.

Post your antutu and other benchmarks scores.

Here is my antutu score. Its less than Galaxy S4 which has same CPU as OGP. It is because of software optimisations?

How good is your cpu? Find out here! Find your bin.

using root explorer or alike go to d/acpuclk/pvs_bin. Use text reader to open it and you should see a number. The higher the number the better quality your chip is suppose to be. I think highest is 0 or 6. 0-6

Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
mine was a 3...
i love being average :\
Ok found out the skinny.
0 requires the least power but is sensitive to overclock.
6 is resilient to overclock and consumes more power because of leakage.
You can read the articles by go ogling *snapdragon cpu bin*
So I guess my chip is a power saver. But I'm able to oc like crazy...so I don't know how significant this really is. My note 3 has been running at 2.8 ghz for DAYS without a problem.
So basically binning has to do with the chips leaking power with 6 being the #leakiest#

That's a pretty low score for being clocked to 2.8, mine scores that clocked to 2.419 on saber. That's good it doesn't reboot anyways.
I don't really care about scores I have 400 apps man lol I think that might have a small impact on my score haha. Yes it does work no problem on 2.8 with a zero bin cpu. I use imoseyon kernel for daily driver. I've also been able to boot the 3 gigahertz kernel too for about 5 minutes before it crashes out.
But what the articles from qualcomm were saying that binning has more to do with power leakage than anything else, e.g. excessive heat, battery drain, etc. So the lower the number the more "efficient" the chip is but less stable and the higher less stable less efficient and more stable for overclock. Think like a boat. One has holes in it with 2 300hp Honda engines the other boat has few holes and 2 300hp off brand less powerful bootleg engines.
They still go just about as fast but one is a little slower. However on the other boat you're scooping water sometimes lol.
