Hi Guys..
please can any one help me
I lost my EFS files when i update my phone to Android 4.3 Leaked version (N7100XXUEMJ5), so when i reinstall official version of my phone (4.1.2) (N7100XXDMC3) the IMEI number changed to (004999010640000)
NOT: if i install leaked version 4.3 of android the IMEI works normally, but i need back to official version.
please can any one help me to solve this problem or can make a backup of his phone EFS files for me to restore it in my phone
finally I'm sorry about my English
I'm really sorry to be the one to tell you this but I'm pretty sure that since you lost your efs backup there is nothing anyone can do. Your efs is unique to every phone. Someone else's backup will not help you as that will make your phone's unique identifier no longer unique but the same as the person who sent you their backup. EFS contains your IMEI number.
Sorry

You should install the Android version on which you say your IMEI is normal and make a EFS backup.
You can safely use this tool to backup/restore your EFS after you flash the working ROM.
You can also use this APK form the Play Store to backup your EFS partition.
Most important, store your EFS backup somewhere safe!
Cheers!

Go to the original post and download the 4.1.2 dlk5 modem.. Flash it by cwm. And the imei will restore.
The reason that imei loses is that the baseband is not compatible with the current android version.

i don't have backup of EFS
i am running custom rom and works fine i get my real IMEI but when i install n7100 stock rom with kies or odin i get 0049 fake IMEI and i can't use my phone for calling and all
i want to go back to stock so bed but i cant trying everyday LOL
help if you know how to do it...
Only way to go back is to have previously backed up your efs partition, while you were on your stock rom. Then once you downgrade to older version modem/rom simply restore your efs.

Indeed flashing older modem (and so ROM) causing this.
I replied on other thread(my prerooted)
Flashing latest ME6/MF2/MG1 should solve this.
OR simply you can flash modem, you can find modem on my All in one thread(look my signature) post #6
And don't flash 4.1.1 , it can brick device.

Please stop creating duplicate threads for the same issue. In any case, changing your IMEI is a banned topic on XDA as its illegal in most countries,
You should have taken a backup of your efs partition before you started messing around (this is in all the guides). If you didn't then that's your fault and your loss.

Hi guys,
I'm having a problem with my N7100 update to Android 4.3.
In my Note II every time I change the ROM I lose connection to the network, but I use the application ARIZA PATCH and everything returns to normal. However, the upgrade to 4.3, then I use ARIZA he does not return to normal.
And my IMEI is (Null / Null), then I restore my EFS and my IMEI back to normal, but I can not connect to the network, making calls, 3G, messages, nothing.
Currently i back to 4.1.2 and it is working smoothly.
I wonder if someone was to this situation?
Or if anyone has any idea how to solve?
I would love to upgrade to 4.3 and mostly have things NOTE III. :cyclops:
Many apologies for my english:silly:

No =(
Still giving the same error of "not registered on network" when trying to make connection or using 3g.
That was always solved with Ariza Patch, but now does not work with 4.3.:crying:
Me too
+1
My Note II is carrier-locked, might that have something to do with the IMEI Null/No service thing? Flashing the carrier-specific modem doesn't seem to work either. Help! Want to get some 4.3 Note 3 featured love.

You installed a rom for a different device... this is the Note 2 forum, not Note 1. N-7105 is the id for the second generation Note and you have the first gen.
Find the factory Note 1 firmware in the Note 1 forum and flash it using odin.

You have to keep the backup in the original CWM directory in order for the recovery to detect it.
Please do your research prior to flashing anything or posting new threads. There are stickies and faq's for everything and you'll get roasted alive for asking questions without doing your due diligence.

im sorry my phone is a note II sgh i317 (at&t). i rooted it following the instructions on galaxynote2rootdotcom and then installed PA 3.99. when i installed pa 3.99 using CWM it showed me that i lost all network and that my model number change to N7105. i then flashed the cyanogenmod 10.1 and everything seemed to work fine. my model changed back to sgh i317 and i got my network back. so i tried to flash PA 3.99 again and its the same thing i lose all baseband and imei and back to that same model. so now im back to cyanogenmod and updated to 10.2 nightly but now i seem to have lost my calling app and play store.

My apologies. I wasn't familiar with the ATT variant. The EFS folder is the very first item to backup immediately after rooting the phone. You can use TWRP recovery or an efs backup/restore app from the Play Store.

You should know where to place your backup. Under clockworkmod folder then backup and place it there. Dont rename it because the md5 sums will be changed.

I misflashed something(wifi_fix_for_MJ2) to the param partition by mobile odin(it auto-determined the param partition) to my N7105.
Now my phone is no signal. Nandroid restore, factory reset, restore imei , reflash TW4.3 rom, reflash AOSP 4.3 rom, all cannot bring back signal.
From what i saw on the internet, reflash the correct param partition(param.bin) of N7105 is the way to go.
And this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1777978 show that param partition can be dumped.
Can anybody provide me the correct param partition dump(param.bin) of N7105?
Thanks a lot!!

Download the stock samsung rom for your mobile.. from sammobile.. and then extract the tar.md5 file.. you'll get all the partitions for your device in .img format.. if you get param.bin in those, then you are good to go, if not, flash your bootloader again and it will solve the problem

did you have any joy finding the param.bin file ? I've download and extracted the stock rom and can't find this file anywhere. Any help would be hugely appreciated. I have found it for the 4.1.2 bootloader but need the 4.3 bootloader file for a wifi patch
Anyone? I've unzipped the stock 4.3 rom and can't find it. I know if I install stock 4.3 I can get the param.bin file through terminal emulator but that defeats the whole point of the wifi patch

Yes, I downloaded the param.bin attachment in the first post from the following link: -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1946915
Although it's not for the GT-N7105 it was able to revive my GT-N7105 , it's now showing the proper IMEI and baseband, where as before it was showing as NULL/NULL and the baseband was Unknown. Good luck.
For convenience the Param.bin file can be downloaded directly from the below link: -

Hmmm my current provider does not have LTE, only 3G. I did have to put back the APN settings to get it to work as I guess some things I tried to get it to work must of cleared them. Maybe you'll need to put back the APN settings for your provider.

hi guys
i hope you can help, i am really scared, i got the null/null imei!, i first flashed uae stock from coming from revolution hd rom, after that i got another imei other than mine so i tried to flash again cwm using odin, after that i tried many times to install back the custom rom (binary is 4 now) then i tried to restore a backup of the from and the phone booted, now the disaster come, the phone is working like normal but not recognize any sim i checked the imei and got "null/null".
PLEASE tell me that there are a solution for this problem.
the phone is now at a store which is familiar with custom roms, the man said that as the binary count is 4, there is a chance that there would be no solution.
by the way, i still have a cwm backup.
any help appreciated.
