Thanks for posting this app. Basically, for anyone who doesn't know what Dragon Go is, it's a siri-like app (although it doesn't talk to you), but it almost always gets what your asking and gives you good information back. Definitely worth checking out.

Cool Brightness Shortcut

So I was just messing around with my phone and I found this cool way to change your brightness settings without having to go into settings. So besically all you have to do is slide across the top bar of the phone (where the time, battery, and data signal notifiers are). But do not pull down the notification bar just slide across the bar sliding to the right turns up the brightness sliding it left turns down the brightness. It works on GB and ICS. I dont know if this is a known feature or if samsung put it in there or if its just a glitch but i just wanted to share it.

Sorry I didn't know this was already found I've been on the t989 forum for months and have never seem anyone post it so flame all you want i was just trying to post something I found and thought was interesting and would help other people which is what general is about isn't it? Lmao.. this is where CM7 got the idea from. Aswell as having toggles in the notification bar, also borrowed from Twiz.
I am not flaming, but do non of toy even look at your operation manual?

First the screen shot key combo and now this. I guess cracking the manual open for five minutes does have its purpose.

Need for Speed most wanted.

As far as I know this phone was supposed to come with need for speed installed. I jut have an icon that takes me to a website with little info about it. But when I look in the play store its in there for 6.99? Anyone have any news on this?

I searched and found nothing. My phone takes me to a web page saying "COMING SOON 10//30//2012". Not much time left to make a prompt delivery.

Same here. I am on the west coast even and there's not much time left in the 30th and still the link doesn't let me download.
The game is released in the Google Play store so it's definitely out, it's just that the T-Mobile deal hasn't been unlocked apparently.

Cool thanks for replies. Just making sure to add this to the bs hype list. Phone is badass no doubt, but hate how it came out lacking multi view and screen recorder and now need for speed.

Screen recorder?? What is that? And I ended up just buying the Need for Speed game today anyways. From what I heard the "FREE" version we were supposed to get was only a demo anyways.

Yeah. Its supposed to be a demo only, no clue how to get it so I went about my way of getting the apk.. sorry I meant the game on the play store. It runs wonderfully. The only problem I had was that I couldnt use pandora while playing it :/

Yes. Coming soon is not soon enough! The full screen popup is nice. You can also use the app hovernote to do something similar. Check out the nice work being done for the N7000 to include multiwindow features of galaxy note tablet. Hopefully this will also be made available on GN2

I've been using ISIS like almost everyday. I'm getting really spoiled paying for everything just by using my phone. I don't want to loose ISIS by rooting my phone.

Just hand-on this GN2 in store today, really impressed! Android is so common now and GN2 move a step foward with its special feature.

All I can see is articles about the s3 getting MULTIVIEW by the end of the year. That would be major messed up if they get it before we do

I'm thoroughly enjoying Jedi-X V1, Might flash V2 this weekend, or wait for Jedi Master 4 which will add wifi calling. These are based on a Chinese ROM. Also should see some good work from Cyanogen since Samsung is doing a good job of releasing source. Almost like having a Nexus!

Extended Power Menu Tester Needed....

I need someone who's not so much a n00b to test Extended Power Menu settings for me for the Note 3. I don't get mines til Thursday, but I've been working on it, wondering if i got it done correctly. Keep a copy of a ROM so u can install it in case it doesn't work, but I'm confident it will work.
Let me know if you're willing. And whatever you do, DO NOT RESTORE a nandroid backup if this doesn't work.... So let me know peeps, trying to get the basics setup pretty quickly as jovy23 has already gotten started...
Let me know who's willing to test and I'll drop the link here

Test this and let me know if it works.... TEST LINK
Be sure to have a ROM u can flash and overwrite with, in case it doesn't boot, or have a backup. It should work though, but you can never be too safe...
