Cool Brightness Shortcut

So I was just messing around with my phone and I found this cool way to change your brightness settings without having to go into settings. So besically all you have to do is slide across the top bar of the phone (where the time, battery, and data signal notifiers are). But do not pull down the notification bar just slide across the bar sliding to the right turns up the brightness sliding it left turns down the brightness. It works on GB and ICS. I dont know if this is a known feature or if samsung put it in there or if its just a glitch but i just wanted to share it.

Sorry I didn't know this was already found I've been on the t989 forum for months and have never seem anyone post it so flame all you want i was just trying to post something I found and thought was interesting and would help other people which is what general is about isn't it? Yeah, this is a Touchwiz feature. My SGS 1 Vibrant had this too.

Lmao.. this is where CM7 got the idea from. Aswell as having toggles in the notification bar, also borrowed from Twiz.
I am not flaming, but do non of toy even look at your operation manual?

First the screen shot key combo and now this. I guess cracking the manual open for five minutes does have its purpose.
Any other Sammy secrets deep within the dreaded user manual?

To the flamers: Keep it up. Pretty soon you'll completely destroy any atmosphere of sharing and open exchange and render XDA irrelevant as a resource for new, experienced users and everyone in between.

Jelly bean is definitely souped up transitions are very nice and fluid and I've noticed performance boost in opening apps. WiFi is a little jacked . Anyways here's some screenies also if u go to settings then about phone then tap android version continuously you get a little treat u can fling them too!

That's a lot to ask for this forum, considering all of the avenues JB can take us down... customization, how to get it, etc....
Regardless, I'm just super happy that the GSM, Toro, and Toro+ versions ALL HAVE a chance to get Jelly Bean within 12 hours of it's release!

hmmm lets see cause some people like myself would rather have fun flashing things (alpha or not) We know the risks we take with our phones. Also considering it's in a public place that is not locked for downloads he has it up for a reason. I'm just not providing the link as he did not post one and in respect to sb I won't post one unless he says it's ok to do so. But others who know how to look for things can find it and get it IF they chose to do so.

I just asked him on twitter if it would be ok to post the link just waiting to see what he says. If he is ok with it I'll put a link in another post. Also this is Vanilla AOSP according to his twitter with some CM stuff added so it's NOT a CM rom it's aosp.

I actually didn't notice that but I'm grabbing his gapps now to give them a go. Doing it without MMS however since I always use GO SMS.

Give it time, this **** doesn't happen overnight. If you want it done, start downloading github.com. good luck
