I need someone who's not so much a n00b to test Extended Power Menu settings for me for the Note 3. I don't get mines til Thursday, but I've been working on it, wondering if i got it done correctly. Keep a copy of a ROM so u can install it in case it doesn't work, but I'm confident it will work.
Let me know if you're willing. And whatever you do, DO NOT RESTORE a nandroid backup if this doesn't work.... So let me know peeps, trying to get the basics setup pretty quickly as jovy23 has already gotten started...

Be sure to have a ROM u can flash and overwrite with, in case it doesn't boot, or have a backup. It should work though, but you can never be too safe...

All I did was put them in a flashable to make it easy, it will install them all for you. If you dont want them all, in the zip navagate to XTREAS/sytem/media and delete the ones you dont want. I put them in the universal flash tool created by JRsoft & Intronauta thanks to them for the tool.

Yes it replaces all the system sounds but it will create a backup if you want to revert back. Or just remove the sounds you don't want before you flash.

I like to keep track of how many members download my themes/mods to get an idea if it was worth doing or not. Not everyone who downloads comments or even hits the thanks button. For instance this has been downloaded 174 times between the 4shared and DB downloads. With the amount of thanks and comments it received I would not have known it was that popular without the download counters. I do appreciate help, but when someone who hasn't commented or hit the thanks button tries to post a mirror, it irritates me.

Yes it will add new ringtones, and change your system lock, unlock, and touch sounds, to the defalt of the SGS3. The flash will make a bakup that you can flash if you dont like the sounds and want to go back.

I think its the update script causing the problems if i had to guess i looked at it and i don't think it needs to mount the partition that you have in it. I have disected alot of files and don't remember seeing this partition being mounted like this to install apps. Just a guess though I am not a professional developer so I could be wrong.

OK. Progress report. Found the conflicting libs causing no-boot. Removed them for now, but that will cause a fc most likely. Its probably due to hardware. I'm going to merge the lib files later but just want to test the zip without them.

Yes. That was one of my plans. Thus mod should work better on the leak. I'll use all my porting knowledge to get it to work.

You're talking about the S3 ROM while this is the S2 thread, but to fix it just reflash the Omega ROM

No problems from the app here!! Actually like it a lot. I throw it on every now and then.
But having my unlimited skips with Dora, I keep going back there.
But one thing I will now about the app, it switches tracks faster than anything! But with the lined skips:what:. But still cool

These 2 apps running together really make my smartphone just a little bit.... Smarter. That being said, I have noticed about 10% extra battery drain than normal. But Its not even a deal breaker for me anyways.

Aviate was "do-able", have since went back to my standard touchwiz though. Cover is more of my thing for now. If it doesn't drain too much buttery on me over time, it'll be a keeper.

Works for me on CM10.2 on my Sprint S3.
But, what I noticed is that screen isn't actually locked.
My long press buttons when screen is locked does the actions of when the screen isn't locked.
