I have Gnex stock 4.3, rooted. Sometimes it loses connection to home Wi-Fi, I take it and it has no Wi-Fi icon, and if I go to the settings it will say "Connecting..." and have one signal bar, it won't ever connect till I restart the router. I have Linksys E900 with WPA2, and "keep wifi during sleep - always" and "minimize wifi battery usage - on" in the phone.

I have a problem with my wifi, at work I connect to a Addon wireless router and most of the time it works ok.
But at the moment I'm having a problem where the phone finds the network, says remembered, secured with wpa/wpa2 psk, then it suddenly drops to not in range and my wifi status is 'disconnected'
It continously is doing this at the moment and just wont connect, the WPA key is correct for it as I have connected fine to the router before.

Is there a wifi app that selects the strongest signal for you to connect to? I have a router in one part of the house and I connect to it using the 5G band. We put in a good wifi extender that covers the other part of the house. I also connect to it using the 5G band. When I go from one far side of the house to the other, the closest access point gives me full bars while the other one only has 1. But my phone will stay connected to the old one. Even if the wifi shuts off when the phone is in deep sleep when I wake it up it will connect to the weaker one. So I was wondering if there was an app that would force it to connect to the best signal.
Just installed "Best Wifi" yesterday and it seems to accomplish this fine, although the notification it makes is not required for me while walking around the house. There are several other apps I found that should work for this as well. "Best Wifi" allows you to set the signal strength at which it will start looking for your other signal.
I further enhanced this with "Llama". I have Llama tell the phone when I get in my home zone, which then turns wifi on. When wifi connects, "Llama" then turns on "Best Wifi". And the reverse, when I leave home "Llama" kills "Best Wifi", and then shuts off the wifi altogether.
Somehow my phone won't find my home wifi anymore.
I tried turning off and on again both, phone and router. My friend has an S4 Mini, too, and hers connects without any problem. When I go to wifi settings, my home wifi appears in the networks list, but it is marked as "not in range". Occasionally it finds the wifi and connects to it, but only for a few seconds.
I already tried the *#0011# thing (turning off power save mode), but still got connection issues.
I have this weird issue with WIFI that is not present on a 6 year old Samsung Galaxy S2.
Whenever my phone goes to sleep, and I turn it on again after 10-15 minutes or more, Wi-fi does not reconnect to my home network. Wi-fi is STILL enabled, I can scan for other wireless networks in the Wifi Analyzer app or in the phone settings (screenshots below), EXCEPT my home network is not visible. So I have to manually turn off Wi-fi and then turn it on again, so that it reconnects.
I have "keep WIFI on during sleep" option set to "Never", my home network is on 2.4 GHz.
Is anybody else experiencing this problem on their HTC 10 (Nougat 7.0) ?
Changed my wi-fi channel from 13 to 11, fixed the problem. Apparently, channel 12 and 13 cause this issue on my TP link TL-WR841N router.
as per title, when I come home to my wifi, or reboot the phone, it says wifi connected but I have no internet. toggling wifi on off brings it back and it stays fine after that. just the initial connection. any ideas?
