[Q] Muted calls on Cynanogenmod 10.1 by default - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hello,
I recently installed Cyanogenmod 10.1 on my Samsung Galaxy SIII, everything is fine I'm happy it consumes less battery and works faster. But when someone calls me I have to turn my microphone and speaker because it's allways turned off.
Any help to enable speaker & microphone automaticaly every call?
Thanks for your time.

When not on call, what is your volume settings ?
Also please go to Settings > Apps. In there, there should be 2 apps, Dialler and Phone. Please wipe the data and cache for both and then reboot.

Thanks, but it just worked after some phone calls or just after reboot... It's really weird.

Try 3 quick clicks to answer....where is the documented?
1 clicks pauses/resumes music
2 clicks seems to call last caller?
Long press allows Voice Dial, but then it makes it confirm on the LCD (wtf)?

[CM10.1] Issue with sound when calling

Hi everyone!
I have a problem with my N7100 and CM10.1! After a while of using the ROM, I have no sound when I call, but my caller can hear me!
Whenever I have to flash again the ROM with full wipe and format the internal memory!
It's so bad !
I found nothing to fix the issue !!
Thanks for reading me !!
Julian
Max the volume and restart the device. That solve my problem

fix for no in call sound
hi i have been having this problem on various 4.2 and 4.3 aosp roms. after a lot of trial and error i found that the in call sound worked if some sound was played before dialing or receiving for the first time. it could be touch pad sound or unlock sound or dial pad sound. as i dont enable any of these i used tasker to play a short sound immediately after every boot and the in call sound has become consistent after using this method
hope this helps

[Q] Dialer no sound

Hello note 2 users, I have no dialer sound when I'm making a call and other side can't hear me as well, this problem appeared randomly on a stock os so I thought maybe resetting the phone and installing CM11 or different radio will help unfortunately no. There are no issues with a speaker or sound everything works all right, recording voice works as well, also sometimes phone looses signal randomly but I tried the same SIM on a different phone and it worked ok. Any thoughts what can be wrong?

Audio Call Lag

Hi,
I have a G4 H815T (Hong Kong).
I have been using my Westone UM2 earphone with my last phone (Note 3 and Note Edge) for quite a while and everything was fine.
When I use that earphone in G4, I find listening to music and watching clips are fine, but the phone call and skype/facebook calls are very laggy.
It seems that the earphone is heavily cancelling the background sound of the call, but it went too far which makes the call really choppy.
Is there any way to correct this problem?
Thank you for your help.
Edmund
P.S.
I have tried my earphone with other android devices (Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2) and it worked out fine.
Can anyone help?

Is noise suppression on and/or voice clarity? Have you tried turning them off and checking to see if it works? How are he UM2's. I have the W40's and love it.

Go to your settings, under wireless network, go to calls, then under ongoing calls, there should be the options for noise suppression, and voice clarity. Try turning them on or off and see if it makes a difference.

New update voice issues.

We finally have our watches updated with the long waited 1.4 internal speaker enable firmware.
I was so excited to side-load the update to my watch and seeing the new features activated, but with more usage to the watch/phone (note5) I started getting frustrated.
Phone calls cannot be received (heard or voice out) from phone if bluetooth (Play phone audio on watch) is selected. (unlike my previous iWatch)
2nd flaw is the strange behaviour using Facebook messenger calling when audio is diverted to watch, but this time the calls fail.
I thought i would see if its only me facing this, is it the combination of my phone/ watch misfit? or its the update?
I have already factory reset my watch, to no avail.
Please share your experiences guys.
For me this works super cool, no problem. Speaker is very loud and clear. I use it 50% volume at home, whitch is enough.

When you accept phone call on a phone voice is automatically directed through phone's earpiece. When you accept it on the watch, voice goes through the watch.
You can also switch voice direction during call using button having BT icon within in-call screen. This is how it works for me on Nexus 5x and I find it quite consistent.

Unfortunately answering the call from the screen doesn't activate the ear speaker in my case, but I can activate the loud speaker!

Answering the call from the watch screen will answer on the watch. To me that is as expected. If you want to answer it on the phone use the phone to answer instead of watch.

I guess it's dependent on a device type, Android version it is running and most importantly a dialer app that it is running.
I can imagine devices having custom dialer supplied by a vendor that significantly differs from the standard Android one could yield different results.
Anybody else encountered FB messenger crash?
I'm facing very serious problems while trying to use HWatch to make/answer calls.
1. Without activating "Play phone audio on watch" everything works as before (no way to answer the call without pulling the phone). Somehow expected behaviour.
2. When I activate "Play phone audio on watch", I can answer the call on watch and apparently it thinks the call is going normally. Byt nothing can be heard on either side of the call. On phone the in-call UI is also displayed and no sounds played or recorded.
3. What's even worse, when I conventionally answer the call on my phone, it's somehow answered also on watch, with result being similar to 2 - no voice whatsover on either device - for about 10 seconds. After that the call is hung up on watch and starts to be hearable on phone. This is very annoying.
I admit, I have an old Samsung Galaxy SII running SlimKat 4.4.4 (which should include standard AOSP dialer). Maybe it has an old version of Blutooth or something screwed elsewhere. But for me the new 1.4 functions are now plain unusable.
Edit: Point 3 somehow fixed (or demonstrates randomly). But still: no audio stream between phone and watch.

Well I am somehow facing same issues with my GN 5 with the latest MM, in addition to crashing of FB messenger... Line and other voice calling apps are running fine.
