[WIP] Multiwindow Mod

OK, I have been working on this and I think I'm close, but now I'm stuck. I'm looking for anyone who would like to help get this working. I've got the multiwindow option in settings and all the necessary files, but can't seem to get it to actually work. Any and all help is greatly appreciated :beer:

Enabling dreams in bools adds the option but settings, but without any screensavers installed it won't work.

Just did a search and got everything about the Philip k **** novel.
I love blade runner and all but not very helpful.

I saw a preview of one where out was your app icons floating around and you can click them to open the app

Yeah that was "rocket launcher" on ics, it's an Easter egg left behind from the dream project. You can play with it on jb too. Go to settings about phone and rapidly tap the screen a jelly bean well come up long press it to see the animation :beer:

I think we may be assed out.
I had already injected all the multi window files into kobridges fl04 before I saw the tutorial. I followed it to add the option to secSettings. Flashed and got boot loops.
The weird thing, our existing multi window files have an additional 1000 lines of code than from the working flashable zip.
That much code for something that doesn't work?

shouldn't be too hard for those that know how to build from a source. Should come out pretty stable also. I'll give it a go of course, but doubt I'd be able to stay on it for too long.

So far, i personally like the way it looks and acts.. But it suppose it'll depend on performance and stability, functionality.

Hoping that a multi-boot loader is developed. It would be awesome to dock this thing to a screen. and still be able to use android while mobile

i'd suggest you not flash this right now, as it's clearly stated that the ROM is only for the Verizon Galaxy S III, d2vzw.
flashing a ROM from another phone could cause your device to hard brick.

Nice, that means one step (or in all reality, multiple steps...) Closer to this bad mamma-Jamma on our babies. I've heard that it's not ready for daily use but I'm down for something new. Also been thinking about getting a Nexus 7 soon to try this out. Or a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for the larger screen... Still can't make up my mind...

Technically, it's the mounting points that differ. You could go into the updater-script and modify the mount points to match our phone.
I assume it has a while sperate kernel though? (I haven't looked). If so, that would clearly be a problem too.
If nobody else has done it by tonight, I'll look it over when I get home. I'll be out all day searching fort parts for my project car.

Sliding messaging - MMS

Has anyone been able to get mms to work with this app? MMS works fine with GOSMS and stock touchwiz, not sliding messenger though.

Nope, the APN the dev has for sprint doesn't work, hopefully a fix is combing.

I have the pro version. Sprint mms does not work with his preset apn as I said before.

Why buy something that's not 100% functional

Watchon for note 2

I k ow this is a long shot, but is there any way to get the watchon app from the s4 working on the note 2? I'm sure that there's another sensor in the s4 but I figured its worth a shot to see what answers I get. Or if there is another app that has comparable features, please do let me know.

Check the link in my sig, you can download the watchon app from the S4 port section. It works great on the S3 and should on the note too. The only issue is that there is a remote function (the icon in the top right) that obviously wont work since it requires an ir blaster that only the s4 has. All of the tv guide and lookup features work great though.

First off, you are awesome for putting that post up! I spent the better part of my day downloading almost everything and just tinkering with it on my phone.
Secondly, i couldn't find the link for the WatchOn app... i hit one of the links which took me to a different post which had a link to it which supposedly was uploaded onto a dropbox account, but the file was removed.

Es had been acting up for me since the last update. I switched to root Browser. But either way dint install it. Move it to/system/app set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot

I did use ES explorer and did install it. Also changed permission to rw-r-r, but still dont see the app icon! How do we use it?

Has anyone been able to get pandown to work on the T-Mobile S4 using cellular data? If so what ROM and version are you on?
If you don't know what pandown is its a downloader for Pandora. Its in the play store

That seems highly illegal.. no wonder Pandora put a listening cap on -.- lol But i have never heard of the app and im not sure if XDA would allow the talk about it considering what its doing. Shocked apps like this and youtube downloaders are allowed on the play store. lol.

Ahh guess its allowed then. Interesting, there was another thread where a user was trying to change the number of coins in his game and that one got closed. So i wasnt sure about this one. Downloading it now.

Pandown works for me on Google edition 4.2.2 using a hacked Pandora 4.4
