They banned my phone actually. I can still log in from my other phone but it sucks not being able to use it on my own phone. I tried finding ways to get around it for like a week but fell short so I gave up.

Been checking the Play Store all morning. No luck yet. It says in the article that it would be on the 29th. Keeping fingers crossed.
Update* There is no official release date. I just read it wrong. Later this fall.

So I do not see Vice City on the play store. Online it says my device is incompatible. Can I change the build prop to something compatible just long enough to DL it from the store? If so what would be the device to change it to? Nexus? SIII?

Type gta vice city its $4.99 but everybody says it doesn't run that good on this phone some reason. Find that hard to believe since gta3 ran great when i was on gb roms. And its not incompatible so i dont know why you get that message. I can download it no problem.

Yeah that's really weird. I'm running CM10 I wonder if that could be it..? Mine says incompatible both in the app and online...

So I changed my build.prop to match a Galaxy SIII and now the game shows available for purchase where as before it wasn't even showing. Somehow I came across it in the Play Store by accident but it said not compatible. Oh well I can get it now. What are the side effects of just leaving the prop changed as Galaxy S3?

Probably the same issue. Do what I did if your experienced enough. Just don't boot loop yourself lol.. Change the build prop to something else. I just Google a Galaxy SIII Build.prop.. Just change the product name and info lines in there. Make a backup of course. Worked for me....

Jay-Z Magna Carter Holy Grail app

What's going on?
I just downloaded the new Jay-Z MCHG app to my S3 but it keeps force closing on me.
Since I'm running a CM-Based rom and it's a Samsung app, is there a way to trick it into thinking it's apart of the stock framework? Any helpful answers and tips would be appreciated!

Check play store. It just had an update. I haven't had any problems but the comments have mentioned that it started out the fat that way so it looks like they may have fixed something.

A dirt ball but he's giving away his album free, to us Samsung users.... Idk that kind of seems the opposite of dirt ball lmao... Even if his app is broke his daughter is already worth more than any of us here on XDA

Flashed kernel now I have no data

Go into recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache
Then go to your dialer (touchwiz only) and dial ##72786# and wait for it to reboot and do a hands free activation

Have u tried maybe flashing a stock rom? Or stock kernel? Maybe try freezas thread I believe he has the kernel posted there. No idea if that will work but it's worth a try....or surely u made a backup maybe do a restore

yup thats the one. i had a lot og gps issue on ktoons so your not alone. i switched to freezas stock and has been perfect since.

Nothing is working. Its likr my msl got switched somehow. . Is that possiblemm

The exact same thing just happened to my s3 too. It just happened for no reason after a reboot and it wouldnt reactivate and sprint had no clue as how to fix it. But i was lucky and had an upgrade and just got an s4 lol
But im sorry to say this but i think that phone is done for..

Its been happening alot on the s3 lately im scared to even flash something on my new s4 because of what happened to my s3 so im keeping it stock with a custom kernel to improve the battery life lol

do you have insurance? flash it stock. bring it in and hope they dont go to download mode. if they do tell them you bought it used off craigslist months ago. play dumb. they should replace it if you have insurance.

I would ODIN back to Stock as suggested by kaos420. Then work from there. Also since you are so far from a Sprint store, they will ship the device to you if you let them know.
