[Mod]Team Venum - JB 'ish Pulldowns w/Toggles - Fi27/Fi25

This is a flashable Mod to get a redesigned SystemUI - for Deodexed Fi27 roms, also tested on Fi25. I've redone the pulldown, resized and moved toggles, added 1% battery mod, and full charging animation, and done other edits for a new feel. Can't see in preview pic, but bottom pulldown bar has been replaced with solid white line along bottom edge.

I'm on The Blu Kuban, so if you could make it match that it would be nice. Would it also be possible to make it so images can be put in the pulldown? That's the only thing I miss from the stock Kuban setup...

images in the pulldown? you mean change the entire background image?
and if I were to make one for Kuban, and have it made for others as well you'd lose the camera button in the pulldown.

I'm referring to my club logo at the bottom of that screen shot, I have a zip to add that, but it doesn't work with your mod. I don't care about the camera button, never really use that one anyways. If it's to much of a pain to make is so that the image works, it's no big deal. I like your work!

well I'd have to know what that zip of your is, and what the updater script is looking for
You can always use a root explorer to swap out pulldown_background.png in system/app/SystemUI.apk/res/drawable-hdpi/. That's what I rename the pulldown background for easy swapping. if you have a background png (480x800), just paste it over old with a root explorer, set permissions like other images, and reboot.

I'll just stick with the setup I have, I've tried a few different things to try and get theses things working three way I want, and I get no where, or end up having to restore a back up, so I'm just gonna leave things alone at this point.

They shouldn't, I included all the apk's needed to add toggles. Goodness is Fi25 right? Should be just fine
If your worried about it just always have a backup, or at least a version of goodness on your SD. Then you can at least reflash goodness only wiping cache and dalvik if you don't like it.

Alright... So these are some themes for Team Win Recovery Project(and thanks to them making this great recovery.... easily theme-able...)... i'm going threw and i'll be themeing more.. and in the end.. it'll probably come out a bit(to allot) different....
But i decided i wanted something a bit different for the recovery look... so for a starting point this is what i got... and i decided on share it....

First of all great job. They look awesome. I am using minimal silver deluxe and it's real fresh.
Just curious what's the difference between the regular and deluxe themes? Also did you remove the "file manager" part of TWRP that used to be under advanced? I can't seem to find it. Just that it came in handy when I had to move my backup out of /sdcard/0 after a 4.2 flash and forgot to do it in the OS. Wipe all option is nice and quick. I like that too. Good work, thanks again!

I'm on bigxies 4.2 odexed rom, can't seem to find the directory /storage/sdcard0/TWRP....
I understand that I need to create the theme folder if its not existent but if the TWRP folder is not there should I also create one?

Using the file explorer of your choice, search for TWRP and see if you can locate the folder that way. I forget exactly how to get to it. I nandroided back to 4.1.2 because of that very reason.
@ OP thanks for clearing that up for me and adding file manager back! Really loving this layout, a lot. Thanks for excellent support as well. If you use TWRP, definitely check out these themes. Highly recommended! I feel like I'm using a completely new recovery! :thumbup:

Flashing roms.... It'll take you threw wiping dalvik a factory reset and wipe system.... Then you'll go right to the install screen....

Huge Thumbnails Folder

Don't know what happened but yesterday I started getting the "Storage space is running out" error. Surprised because I just not long ago formatted my internal memory and started over. Anyways I check and my .thumbnails folder is almost 5 GB! Anybody have any ideas how it could've gotten that big so soon or even why it would be.

If you download lots of apps?? I would just try and go through to delete unnecessary ones. A lot of apps download pictures into your thumbnail folder. Advertising stuff. Try getting an ad blocker app its helping me with that issue.

Thanks. I just deleted everything in folder and rebooted. Not sure where it all came from. I've never been a person with a whole lot of apps. No more than 20-25 max depending on what ROM I'm running.

Yep! Just checked and it was almost 3GB again. I just deleted it but this time I checked to see what was in there and it looked like it took a small video of every movie/video file that I have stored on my phone & SD card. I guess it is for the Video player previews. Anyway to stop it from doing this and am I the only one having this problem?

It's supposed to do that.

I just delete the whole thumbnails folder. Dont seem to bother the phone or me.

Do you use Astro File Manager? Had the same problem, went away when I switched to Solid Explorer.
On August 29th at 02:14 my Note2 will become self-aware.

Ok guys, it has nothing to do with any of this...
Its all related to Google.
Do this, go to settings, accounts, gmail.
Uncheck the sync Picasa albums.
Backout.
Then go to applications, all.
Scroll down to gallery an clear the cache.
With anyone using hangouts an sending pics, it caches every single one on your phone.

Of course that only works if you use (and sync) Picasa and hangouts. So ymmv
My thumbnail issue was definitely file manager related, switching to a filemanager that allowed me to manage its thumbnail cache fixed it.

Just delete the whole thing you wont loose nothing important. Save you time and space. Try "Root cleaner" I had 3.56gb of space. Bought the pro version and did a quick clean. Now I have 5Gb of space! What the app does it deletes all unnecessary files.

Well I'm still having trouble figuring out why it does this. I don't use Astro File Explorer, Picassa or Hangouts. I can't see this as a normal process because if left unchecked you would never have any internal storage or at least half or more would be swallowed up by these useless video clips.

Yeah I've been deleting it with no side effects it's just annoying that it keeps happening.

I got really bored and decided Snote was ugly so I made a few changes I havent seen this done so i hope you all like it. Inverted Snote for International based roms

Ok so this won't install on my phone.. I uninstalled the original and then opened the file and clicked verify and install and then it says application not downloaded.. Any reason why that's happening?

I'm using Jedi X16. Just flashed it today and got it all set up. Had the gray s note version and decided to try the inverted version. Tried installing in recovery and now I have neither. Thanks for your help.

Thats strange this is the apk from jedi x. Can you try a manual install. Basically delete the the SnoteTO.apk from system apps reboot extract the one from this zip and copy and paste to system apps change permissions to rw r r and reboot.

I'm having the same issue, I think. The link to the original gave me s note back, but the flashables of the themed version are just removing the app.
Tried multiple downloads, all appear to be the same file, and none of them have worked...Not a big deal, I suppose, but the theme did look nice.

I was trying to figure that out before. I think it has something to do with the s5 launcher itself. There are a few apps it resizes itself. the accuweather and the calendar.
The resizable widget i made worked for a few, but on reboot the launcher broke them. So im going to try again after i get everything else done

every ime i flash it in recovery i get a error once i reboot says something about kox setup wizard O_O

I'm currently running just the stock rooted rom that effortless had in his instructions thread. I've not flashed any other mod than one I made for the 4 way reboot.
So I'm not sure man. I had one issue that I've seemed fixed. I had grumpy weather installed and it kept popping up unified daemon crashed. But I never saw that one
I know you know what your doing, so I'm not gonna ask if you screwed something up. Lol

Hmmm, I dunno? I just downloaded that link again just to see and it's ok? I see the shade you have, just not sure why you have it. Here's what I just flashed

just wanna say thanks by hitting the thanks button, an also to tell you it worked great... also put the inverted phone, mms, contacts from another thread next to yours... only missing email app now...

THANKS... I was going to flash it, but I was fixing my phone first, then my wifes...
after I get the backups done, I will flash it and try.... I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't affect anything else...
edit: just flashed it, working just fine... I use a black background, and all is good...

How do I revert back to the original? I'm running effortless rev6 with apex and it did something weird?
Seems to work fine on the stock launcher, doesn't like apex?

Well it's a Samsung widget so only TouchWiz launcher is all its gonna work on. All in all it likes apex just not for it?

just wanted to give an update on this,
it has been working on all the new releases for our Tmobile N900T and also for the N9005 releases without issues,
I insert this on my own personal roms, what I do is, put this in my rom - accuweather apk, remove the odex file in my rom, since its a odex rom, it is just easier..
