My phone's battery is getting drained very fast, I am not getting backup even for a day, just using 3G and Calls. So i think its better to replace the battery. Can anyone tell me where I can get genuine battery for our HTC one V and its price.
yes ,contact htc care, and happy realization
My One V battery isn't as efficiency as original too. One V 's model is T320e battery, I just search it on ebay and found there are many available. You can search One V battery on youtube, there are vids to teach you DIY and it's easy. Remember to buy the smartphone assemble/re-assemble toolkit on ebay as well.
Personally, I'll buy it on taobao(Chinese ebay) as cheaper there but only ships China/HK/TW.....
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration
You can try calibration your battery if you rooted. I've tried battery calibration app on One V and it actually helps a bit because I was crazy flashing roms plus supercharged v6 and made the phone battery statistic got mad.
Hi mate, may i know, how long have you used the battery? I think my phone battery need a replacement to.
easy
it's fairly easy to change the battery yourself, see http ://w ww.youtube.com/watch?v=64ePC3FbegM
just stop disassembly at 1:03, that's enough to remove the battery. done in 5 mins.
edit: an ORIGINAL htc one v battery (bk76100) is a must imho - yes, it costs 15 EUR instead of the 10 for the nonames, but i read some fakes don't give ANY temp reading to the system and that's simply not acceptable lol

google for mobilefun htc battery ba s410...
(sorry but I'm not allowed to post direct links 'cause I'm a new user...)
I saw it from another post somewhere; It is the only htc original battery I found.
I bought it last friday but not yet received, so I can't tell you how it is.
Before you dive in for a 3rd party batt ...
I read an article sometime ago comparing batteries. forgive me for not being able to remember the source (or sponsors for that matter) for the article, but HTC original batt is supposed to be of high qualities having effective charge capacity of 90% or so. 3rd party may claim higher capacity but their effective capacity is can be about 80% or lower.

I have also read this. Unless the battery shows a significant increase in capacity (one of those 2500-3500mah ones which require a different back panel) then the likelihood is that you will have worse battery life compared to your original HTC battery.
this is for General subForum, sorry m8 nothing with development
I bought the Mugen 3200 battery,it is bigger and comes with a new back panel but now instead of charging by noon I spent the whole day trying to get the battery to drain ,best i got was 40% after more than 20 hours of usage.

Im also interested where you've bought that batt.. Does it make the phone a bit bulkier? Since you said that it came with a new back-cover.. i suppose it adds to the back of the phone which is fugly.. for me at least.. Anyone tried any of the "normal" batteries and can provide feedback? Or anyone knows from where can i buy an original one? Im fine with that as long as the price doesnt go up from 25e...
Sorry for the late reply , I got it from mugs website for 79 dollars , it does make the phone a bit bigger with a lump on the back ,( this also makes most if not all cases useless ) but it is not as bad as I thought it would be from the pics and the performance.is much better than I.expected .it is now 9 : 22 pm and I have 66 % of my battery remaining I used to get this percentage by noon .

yeah mugen power batterys are the best, i also have the big one with the diffrent battery cover, sometimes i can go 3 days without charging you can buy them here http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com/
Seidio battery works fine for me. I bought 2 other batteries from e-bay for less that usd10 a pop but they dont fit. They are slightly bigger. If i force it in, it can fit but not sure what will happen in the long run.
Hello all, Like everyone these little Aria's are nice devices..
I however seem to have mine plugged to something all the time...
My ARIA, is rooted and running froyo 2.2, still the battery life is awful, even wit the average apps turned off.
1. are there extended battery's available for the ARIA?
2. are my only options buying several battery's and swapping?
3> does anyone have any advice that may help my ARIA, stay away from the dreaded WIRE for charging??
any help would be awesome..........tattooer
let the battery run all the way before you charge it
If you are having battery issues, I'd root it. Once you root, you can wipe battery stats, flash CM (amazing battery life), etc.

I think they have portable chargers...
I saw one at best buy, where you charge it (basically an external battery) and you can plug your phone into it when you need a charge for the phone.
Energizer Energi to go is also another option...
As for me, to get the best battery life I turn off 3g, since I'm mostly around wifi anyway.
My phone is running froyo 2.2 from a file.on my see card, I rooted my phone Rondo this. Is cm6. Betterr. Than froyo for battery life?
So there are no battery replacements that give more battery Life??I have searched. The web over and over.thanks for the help. Between cm6 and froyo which has the best battery. Life?
instead of thinking, 'i need to replace the battery because it doesn't last long enough', try thinking 'what can i do to help my phones battery last a bit longer'.
firstly, read this tutorial.
in regards to task killers, i suggest reading this, and this and this.
lastly, i would recommend installing juicedefender and watchdog.
also if you're willing since its still experimental I have been using build #12 of CM7 nightlies and my batteries last much longer then when I had 2.2. I play games check articles blah blah and get about 40% life left when I go to bed around 14 hours of usage time.

Hi guys! I've never had serius problems with the battery of my Gratia (the European version of the Aria), but i have to recharge it every 2 days (or every day if I use it much more than the ordinary) and it's a bit annoying... I saw a powerful battery (2430 mah) in ebay, so if you are desperate you can try it
i can't give you the link because it's my first post
if you are intersted just write htc gratia battery on the search bar of the website.
PS: i'm sorry for my english be patient !

You are talking about "GOLD 2430MAH BA S430 BUSINESS BATTERY FOR HTC GRATIA"
The price and capacity sounds too good to be true. Curious if anyone tried these out.
I thought the same thing... i don't need to try it, but i'm a bit curious to know if it really works.
There is no way to pack 2430mah in a small form factor like that.
It should be over twice the thickness of a standard aria battery.
To get any extra milliamps, you would have to thicken or lengthen the battery.
Stock is it until they come out with something newer than lithium.

couldn't agree more with this. v6 supercharger is the way!
I don't understand: supercharger seems to be responsible to faster phone, does it also helps battery life?
Hello All,
I toke my HTC One X apart to replace the internal battery with a higher capacity one, as i've tried all the methods listed here to enhance my battery life, but it failed to survive a 12 hours idling - it seems that HTC forgot that the user might use his phone through the day -
anyway, i'm looking for an "INTERNAL" and "HIGHER-CAPACITY" like 2100mAh, 2400mAh battery to replace my 1800 mAh one, any suggestions please?
I don't believe that there is a higher capacity internal battery for the HOX. From what I've read on here is that any higher capacity battery would require the a bigger case for it. Just by opening it up you have now voided your warranty, and any third party manufacturer would not make you void your warranty to increase battery capacity. Your only option is to buy the cases that utilize the pogo pins to increase your battery
thanks for your reply teky, actually i dont care about the warranty, but i believe i can find a higher capacity battery as the iPhone one, i've bought a 2300 mAh from ebay for my old iphone and it was at the same size as its original one, the performance was amazing, it lasted about 2 days with a heavy usage.

likeliness is, if it wasn't physically bigger, then the mah was no more than the original. probably the fact that the first battery was knackered and just buying a new one seemed like it was lasting longer, when in fact it wasn't lasting any longer than a new original battery..
btw, the battery in the 1x is soft...gg, how were u planning on replacing it.

i need too an hi-capacity battery, but...is simply to remove the internal battery?
Be careful... A design flaw in the custom battery may cause it to explode.
Every battery I've read about online that promised higher capacity for the same size proved to be a fraud. The best story I saw was posted on the xda-dev forums. The user cut off the outer packaging of the battery to reveal the original battery inside, and printed on this was the real (much lower) capacity.
I don't know much about battery tech :silly:, as I'm about to prove but ... I believe it's basically a chemical reaction that releases power (and the reaction is revered when charging). The capacity of the battery is related to the volume of material available for the reaction, so basically physics is against us on this one.
If it seems too good to be true, it is. If technology were available to produce safe, cheap batteries, of the same size with a higher capacity, why doesn't a single large reputable manufacturer produce what would obviously be a lucrative accessory?
Are we not missing the point that his phone can't do 12 hours idling? My wife's currently very under used one x has managed 7 days and 10 hours from a single charge with 3g on almost zero screen on so true idle.
My used one x can easily make 2days of what I class as moderate use.
There must be some software issue or as Vodafone in Perth did a misconfigured network stopping 3g from going idle and sucking the battery dry.
Cheers
Steve
you can use the battery of the hox+ and get an extra 300mAh ...
but am going to take the batt of my spare one x and see if the battery of the htc butterfly s would fit... you get like an extra 1200mAh
hope it does....

Please make a thread about that, even if it doesn't fit. Battery life on my HOX is crippling, hardly get 2 hours screen time.

Hi Im looking forward to buy this phone but there's something keeping me from doing it, I don't live in the US, I live in Venezuela so I have to buy the international version and I cannot return it if something goes bad with the battery, I know that the battery of this phone is none removable so I wante to ask: Do you guys consider this to risky? or is it very unlikely that battery gets damaged? for some reason they made it none removable so my first guess is that battery won't suffer from anything so what do you guys think?
Thanks
Go for it. It's not risky. The battery will obviously degrade over time like all batteries do (you'll start to see signs after a year and a half), but it's easily replaceable if you have the right tools. When your battery does start to show signs of degradation, you can order a spare battery and case opening tools online and replace it yourself. There's a thread here about the One X+ battery being compatible with the One X. So you can even get that and put it into your One X international version to get more capacity.
After two years that the battery will completly drain you will bought a new phone
As I mentioned above sashank, there is no risk (i have the phone 8months without any problem in battery).
The phone at this time with help from XDA (ROM-TWEAKS-MOD-etc) just rock.:good:
If HTC some day finally release kernel source for jelly bean with custom kernel battery can get more time.
Hi there, i was considering replacing the battery on my HOX as the battery dies too quick.
If i do simple things like surf the web or check facebook for 2 minutes the battery drains about 3-5%
My uncle has had the phone on contract for 2 years and it finished so he gave me the phone as he got an upgrade and i was thinking of replacing the battery as it may not be able to hold a charge for long.
There are also 2 options i was going for;
HOX+ Battery
HOX Battery
I am wanting to know if it is worth it and which one to get?
I found the Hox Plus Battery on ebay for £20 as mine was driving me nuts and the shop along the rd installed it for £5 but i havent used it in anger yet but i'm hopefull of a little more use out of the phone. There are guides on the net for doing it yourself right enough.

much better for me
Get the HOX+ battery if you're going to replace it, but don't expect a huge increase in battery life. There will be a marginal difference (which may be quite noticeable if the current battery is 2 years old) but overall the HOX just has poor battery life in general. It's one of the cons of the phone that really can't be overcome, even by reducing screen brightness, turning off wifi, etc. If battery life is important to you, it may be worth getting the HTC One if possible (or the M8 if you can afford it). Alternatively phones like the LG G2 are cheaper but superior to the HOX and have a much better battery life.
Does your HOX die after 1-2 hours of playing something like candy crush?
