good day ladies and gentlemen.. i would like to ask about the cases that i have experienced on my SM-T210. i have installed a pre-rooted firmware right away on my SM-T210 to get the root previledges. therefore,i installed FieldRunners 2 games on my tab and i got stucked up on the loading screen when i finish the tutorial part. due to my curiousness, i tried it installing on my sister's galaxy duos and it worked like a charm. no problems at all. also i installed from play store Tech Deck Skateboarding game on my tab and i experienced glitchy graphic environment, again i tried it on my friend's generic and cheap tab. it did also worked like my sister's duos without a problem. i am really confused if the kernel from the pre-rooted firmware that i have flashed has to do with this issues occuring on my SM-T210. should i download a firmware from sammobile and flash it and root with "root unlocker pro"?? or what? please help me out guys.

What you are experiencing has nothing to do with the pre-rooted firmware. It is the same firmware as stock, with the necessary root files added. The kernel isn't changed at all.
There have been several complaints about the graphic performance of this tab. It just doesn't seem to work well for some games.

thank you sir for your answer, im glad that someone heard me and gave me clarification.. but one more thing sir, thus it mean that it is the tab itself that cant run a cheap/low end kind of game as of now? what im trying to say is that the problem is my SM-T210 itself and there's nothing more i can do to resolve it?

Hi guys,
hope you can help me with a nasty little problem ..
I got a Chinese Note 2 (GT-N7100_CHN_CHN) from my father in law - he bought a Note 4 just recently. The phone is virtually not usable in Europe, as no Google support is implemented (mail, G+, Maps) and there is no access to the regular Playstore. Also, the only Android available is 4.1.
So I tried to flash a new Firmware (and yes, I'm a noob), and that's were the problems began. I've downloaded this ROM: N7100XXUFNE1_N7100DBTFNE1_N7100XXUFND3_HOME.tar.md5 which is - as far as I could figure out - a more or less "factory" version of a German Android 4.4 ROM. For whatever reason, I was unable to flash it using Odin (I tried several drivers, cables, computers (all Win7/64), disabled virus scan .. no way to get Odin 3.09 to work. It recognizes the phone, but aborts the flash process immediately with just a "1 processes failed" error.
After reading a bit here, I tried to root the phone using Saferoot (worked perfectly), loaded MobileOdin and this ROM to the phone and did the flashing there. This works fine, the phone starts, it has a German interface, is running KitKat .. great. Only issue: The WiFi does not work. As I figured out from this forum, I need to install either a WiFi patch or a new Bootloader (I've downloaded BL_N7100XXUEMJ5_1903221_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5 - hope that's the right one).
The problem now is:
Saferoot fails to root the Android 4.4 version - so no root access
MobileOdin does not work without root (and I don't know whether it would be able to flash a bootloader)
Odin 3.09 still does not work with the device
I tried Heimdall, but it does not accept the .md5 files for Odin and I could not find any ROMs in the right format
So I'm running out of ideas what else to try. Could you give me a hint what to to do?
Many thanks,
Scooby
You are saying the phone is chinese and doesn't have support from Google so there is clearly not original phone.
Samsung has not produced that phone so it means the hardware parts are not from samsung and the ROM you are flashing can't be installed.
I read you want to root but I think it is already rooted(try with the app "root checker")
You can't do much with that phone.
Sorry

Hi Manuel,
it's definitely a original Samsung device. Google is simply (virtually) not available in China, so they install a slightly modified Android that points to a local Samsung store instead of playstore, G+ and Maps is not pre-installed ..
As written above, I was able to root it as long as the original Android 4.1.x was installed and I have successfully flashed the new german Kitkat ROM. "Only" Problem right now is that I can't get Odin to work and due to that I can not install the Wifi fix or new Bootloader. And ideas on that?
Thanks
Scooby
Hi. First of all this is not a standard "bought in China" thread.
Phone is Samsung Galaxy Nexus i9250
Althought the phone was sold as new it was pre rooted with a custom ROM which I believe came from SlimRoms.
I have some experience rooting my previous phones but for some reason nothing works on this phone. I've tried CM but always fails, same with downloading ROMS direct from ClockworkMod.
I would really like to change it to run CM but to be honest any change would be welcome but its like something I've never encountered before is blocking any change.
If anyone could help me I'd be a very happy man
I've attached a screenshot from the phone showing the kernel and ROM it came with.

Hi! I think in your situation the best way for your nexus is to restore all to stock flashing the google factory image (you can find it here)
After that you can start to reunclock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery or what you prefer.
Tell me if u have some problem to flashing the factory image
Hi, thanks for the advice, I thought you were onto something but unfortunatly not. I have no idea what the seller did to this phone but its like its locked out. I can't get any computer, software or comand to recognise it. It's as if once it conects to the computer its nothing more than a USB even in bootloader it's not seen.
Just got a Nuvision TM785A520L tablet running android 5.0. It is very slow and lags non stop. Can someone please help me root it. I'm not new to the android scene and have rooted devices in the past. Thanks
I have the same tablet and need root too. Only thing I could find is a thread on xda about a toolkit to root Intel tablets. But I unfortunately don't have a pc at this time.
I have tried using that toolkit with no luck. i have also tried all kinds of root apks also with no luck
Same here. Nothing seems to work
Anything new on this?
I also have this tablet and the darn thing is horribly slow, even after disabling most of the bloatware that I can.
Has anyone had any luck with this? OfficeDepot and OfficeMax are running this for $60 on Black Friday. I'd seriously consider buying it if it could be rooted. Thanks!
New rom added Nubia Ui 2.6

I have been messing with this tablet, and I have gotten TWRP flashed and working. It can flash things as far as I can tell, but you have to use a mouse. I have screwed up the Android part, and I'm not sure where to go from here. I can't adb push files to it, but I can get into fastboot and TWRP.
I am looking for a manufacturer image to restore Android through Intel Platform flash tool.
I tried rooting it using odin and downloaded the zip file. After it passed the test. My tab rebooted and didnt continue on. Stopped at the samsung welcome design. And just hung there. Nothing happening . As if it crashed
So i downloaded a new firmware with a certain build and installed it using odin but the firmware isnt what i wanted and a lot is changed like it was rewritten. Anyways most of my apps arent working like they used to and i still cant root the tab.
Pls how can I root this?
