Have you install the latest one? try unintsall & reinstall it again, changing usb port and cable. sometime it will happen as driver conflict and try with another PC also.

Phone not mounting

After flashing Emerald Envy my phone does not mount anymore, and yes i uninstalled and reistalled drivers again, changed the port location, everything. Anybody?
Bad USB cable maybe? My stock USB cable will charge just fine but if I use it to try and mount my phone nothing shows up anymore.

Does your phone make the connection noise on the computer? If so go to control panel>system> device manager find Samsung Android as either Other or in USB and click it and hit update drivers and wait while Windows finds the 5 drivers it needs. I have 2 phones, all of a sudden one could connect and one wouldn't. Updated the drivers and now one shows up as F and the other as E..go figure.
Turn on usb debugging if it's off. Turn off usb debugging if its on.
I tried all of this and still nothing guys anything else?

Windows Update wouldn't get any of the drivers for me (Windows 7 Ultimate, SP1) so I had to install the ones that came with one of the OneClickRoot zips.

What do you mean by not appear? The pc dosent detect the phone, or it just dosent mount the drives in mycomputer.
Also when you connect the 2 is your phone asking you what type of connection you want?
Drive does not appear in 'computer' on Window 7.
and
my phone does not ask what type of connection i want when phone is connected this netbook.
in phone setting, checked 'ask me'
and Disk drive is selected.

Have you tried installing HTC Sync on the net book? Try that, maybe it's a driver issue. Is your phone stock or rooted with a custom Rom?
Have you ever used the cable sucessfully before? Is it a eom one or a cheap knock off? Some cords are charge only. Will different pc recognize the phone? On windows 7 it should install all the drivers automaticly except for the adb driver, which is not needed to use the phone as a disk drive.
my phone is rooted with unrevoked or standalone.
im going to install GB ROM soon.

Cannot get Computer to recognize phone while in Download mode

Hello, I cannot get my computer to recognize my phone while in download mode, thus I cannot load a KDZ file to restore my soft bricked phone. I have the latest LG device drivers installed and have been able to transfer files before I bricked my phone (I accidentally wiped the OS in TWRP). Device manager states that there is a problem with the drivers. Is there anyway I can restore my phone? Thanks in advance
- Philip

Try a different USB cable and port. Have you got ADB installed? If so you should do a complete update of that too

Thanks for the help. but I finally got it to work by using a Windows 7 computer. I believe that there was something interfering with the drivers on my Windows 8 64 bit version.

[Q] PC doesn't recognize M8

Hi,
I've already searched but couldn't find a topic with the same problem.
When I connect my m8 to my PC (Windows 8.1) he cannot find it.
I thought I had to install the drivers, so I went to Device Manager if there was any exclamation mark, but there wasn't one.
So now I don't know what to do, I hope someone can help me.
Because I want to upgrade my phone, but I have to upgrade my firmware first.
Thanks
Did you try installing HTC Sync?
Yes I've also did that, but without success

Try to uninstall HTC Sync and HTC drivers. Than connect the phone, do not select the option to automatically install Sync. Go to Device Manager, find the device. Select the option to manually select drivers. Than pick Generic MTP Android Device (or something similar).

Well then it's a problem with your USB cable and/or port on the PC. Try a different port, try a different cable.
Well i tried a different cable and on a Windows 7 without success.
So now i realy dont know what to do
If tried an factory reset and flashed the lastest InsertCoin.
But it didn't worked, I guess I have to go back to my old rom.
Still nothing, anyone an idea?
Ive tried using robomodo, but no success

It seems like you tried everything. Another PC may be your only option at this point.
Did you disable the USB 3.0 drivers (if applicable)? I didn't see you respond either way on that particular suggestion.
