Just to make sure, you don't see /0 anywhere? If not it sounds like starting over using LGFlashtools might be you best option. Use it to get stock, reroot then flash. Sometimes this gives you the confidence to flash other roms because you have gotten comfortable in knowing you can start over anytime.

Check your recovery backups, see if you have too many, they can take up quite a bit of space.

i dont think so, i remember reading someone with a similar problem in another forum but cant for the life of me remember where, sorry! are u on a custom rom? try reflashing or connect to your computer and use the explorer to see where all your space has gone. if that doesnt show more space and a reflash doesnt fix maybe its your internal storage itself i think thats what it was with the other person and its irreparable without replacing. I know Flac music files are crazy big but i assume ud know if it was that. hope i help in some way and if i come across the other person with the same problem ill post a link.
I had a similar issue after flashing a new rom, it would show up with about 9gb taken up space even though nothing showed up. The way I'd fixed it was by formatting the sd card from clockworkmod.
A few ideas
Install solid explorer from the play store. It has a mode that lets you see what is eating up space graphically.
If you download roms vía rommanager or any other app check the sd card folders for those downloads. they're about 150 mb a piece so they can add up (especially if you do nightlies)
If i format my sd card via recovery,
Do i lose my apps?

You will lose any apps installed on the SD card.

I just got a note 2 and cant move any apps to my SD card... ive searched everywhere and cant find anything. Any suggestions?
I don't believe it's possible to do that anymore, unless you make it to where the phone reads the external as the internal.
You need root I think

You'll need to use our external path as it's different from the S3.
So would all the commands be the same for the paths or would I have to change them?

Root, make a backup, unroot then root new phone, restore backup, unroot. Only way I no besides copying your whole internal sd on the new phone.

Never mind. To copy apps you need access to the system folder which means you would need to root.

you could odin a custom recovery image, boot into recovery and create a nad of your phone and then dropbox it for safe keeping. Flash the original recovery - i think i saw it in the development threat - and check the flash counter to see if you tripped it... if you did then you'll have to follow the instructions in the dev thread on how to reset everything to stock, it'll take a bit of the search function and some reading but should be releatively easy.
I'm currently on 4.2.2 using SlimBean. I tried to upgrade to 4.3 using Odin and it softbricked my phone, and took almost all night of going in circles getting it to come back (my boyfriend walked me through it, and saved it, phew). I don't know where to go from here or how to go about it without screwing anything up like last time.. can anyone help? D: (I'm also pretty newbie at this, I'm sorry. D: )
We tried to google and search everywhere for how to properly do this or how to do this without screwing up like we apparently did! Also, upgrading his using Odin worked... mine didn't. T_T
And does anyone have any suggestions for the least buggiest roms out there? I always seem to flash ones that give me major problems (phone randomly turns off or restarts, camera doesn't work, random things crashing, losing service permanently, etc.)
Thanks!
Which 4.3 ROM are you trying to upgrade to?

Well, I'd like to run Quantum but I thought I had to upgrade to 4.3 first as I'm currently on 4.2?
Someone feel free to move this if needed but has anyone found a way to store photos on 4.3 camera to external SD card?

Rom backups! 10gb

Nothing shows it using anywhere near that amount

I had same problem. When I flashed a different rom and reset factory data it cleared all that up. I'm guessing I had corrupt data. Also gained space by going in recovery and " delete unused backup files" I think that's what the category was called.

If you want to clear everything up, which is something I like to do routinely to keep everything running smoothly, you can use Odin and flash a stock tar file. Just stay away from the stock 4.3 that has Knox. Flashing back to 4.1.2 is your best bet.
