I've noticed that I can't connect my tablet to either my Windows desktop or my MacMini.
Both computers don't recognize the tablet.
Connecting my Note 3 phone works fine, however.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
EDIT::
Looks like I had to turn off USB debugging for it to x-fer again.
Lame.

Already tried reformatting Windows and installing any and all drivers I could find.
When I connect my EVO to my PC via the USB cable, the connection type window appears, the amber light turns on, and it shows up on my PC for ~2 seconds. Then it disappears. I have been unable to keep it connected.
It works on other PCs I've tried, just not mine for some odd reason. (Any other USB item works fine), and I've tried multiple USB ports.
Any ideas?
I had this exact issue when I was going through a non-powered USB hub. As soon as I plugged it into my computer's direct USB plug no issues. How old is the computer you are trying to plug this into? Is is USB 2.0? I'm on windows 7 64bit if that helps. Hope you get this fixed, it's annoying as hell.
Forgot to mention, this is on Windows 7 x64 as well.
Im using the ports on my mobo, and its a rather new mobo (XFX 780i). Tried every single port =\
I've had this phone for about 4 months and it was working perfectly, flashing ROMs left and right. Yesterday I tried connecting my Samsung USB cable into my laptop and tried to hop on that USB storage. What my laptop is telling me when I connect it is strange. It says that it doesn't recognize the USB device. I tried re-installing the drivers, shutting both phone and laptop down and restarting.. nothing seems to work. Please help me, because without being able to connect to the laptop, my phone is going to be boring and unflashable. Thanks!

I've had this happen before with my first sgs2, i'm on my third now. Try it on another PC, with another cable, if that doesn't work I'd just send the unit back for a replacement because the USB port is probably malfunctioning.
Just upgraded from an S2 to an S3 and am having an issue with getting my S3 to connect to my PC that I previously had S2 drivers on.
I am having an issue however that I cant seem to figure out. When I connect my phone to my PC via USB cable it detects my phone for a few seconds, then trys to install drivers and then the connection disconnects and reconnects a few times a second. To the point where my PC is beeping all the time because it is recognizing a new device and on the notification tab on my S3, connected to PC flashes off an on. I have tried reinstalling drivers, booting the phone already plugged into pc, switching to camera mode, turning the pc and phone both off and starting together and none of these things help.
I did some searching and it appears that a few others have experienced this when upgrading from a different Samsung device, however even after going to device mgr and uninstalling those drivers I still have the same issues. I dont know if there are some drivers that are not displayed or something. I have tried a different cable with no avail. However when I connect my phone to a new PC that has never had a samsung device installed before it works with zero issues. Someone recommended using the Naked Drivers however I cant even get to the point to pick which driver to use before the device starts disconnecting and reconnecting on my PC several times a second.
Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks.

Hmm, try this. Dial ##3424#, tap on PDA, then Qualcomm USB Setting, tap on MTP+ADB, ok. See what happens now.
I'd swap out the USB cable and try a different port, if still not working then install Kies and let it run the connection diagnostics which has resolved this issue for me in the past.

I have my One X for like 5 months now. Everything was working just fine and I was able to connect my phone to my MacBook with no problems. I was able to transfer files using HTC Sync Manager as well. However, recently my phone would not connect to any computer. When I connect my phone to the computer it just starts charging, no other notification shows up in the bar. Sync manager would not see the phone as well. I don't know if its the software or my phone. I tried Windows and OSX; I tried different USB cables; Factory Reset did not help; Debugging is on. Its frustrating! It seems like people encounter this problem, but no real solution or answer has been found. Do you guys know something about this?
I don't know what's wrong but when I plug my phone into my computer it doesn't connect at all it will show it's charging but that's it. I can go into developer mode and tell it to connect PTP or File transffer but it doesn't pop up when I plug it in, nothing happens just a slow charge.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
So turns out it won't connect to my late 2012 MacBook pro with Mojave installed won't even recognize that there's anything on the end of the cable at all but with Bootcamp and Windows 10 installed it works just fine.
Unfortunately that means I have lost 60gb of prime HDD space
