I hope someone will enlighten me up with my "problem"... As I said, sometimes my volume mutes when I plug my headphones. I understand that there is a default strength of vol. whenever you plug your headset to your phone (75%) but in my case it's pushing to 0% and whenever I tried to raise the volume up it automatically goes down. It's starting to get annoying.
I hope someone will help me and thanks in advance.

I find that the earpiece volume on my AT&T Galaxy S3 is pretty low even when set to the Max. The speaker volume is fine. Does anyone know how to boost the earpiece volume? I found this mod, but it's for the international version - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1722136.
Thanks.
Did you try the extra volume button?
Its right under the call time

I did try that, but I thought that only increased the volume of the speaker, not the earpiece.
Maybe its a rom issue cause when I press it the ear piece is about twice as loud

What about a modified default_gain.conf file? There are like 2 or 3 versions in the international forums that work on our device. They bump the volume levels etc.

Does anyone know of a way to lower the in-call phone volume? Is there a way I can edit a file or flash something to change because my phone is annoyingly loud, any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

I don't have an issue I just simply lower from rocker volume before the screen closes when I put it to my ear.

I do but it doesn't go all the down and it's still loud I can hold the phone away at least five inches away and can still hear like it was right against my face

My in call bluetooth volme is very low. I understand this is a common problem with the note 2 but I cannot find a workable solution. I did find one post which suggested installing alsamixer which I did. But I havent a clue where to find the bluetooth headset volume adjustment. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hello developers
I have already installed cm11 android 4.4.2 on my phn 2 or three days back but now when an incoming call came or I dial somewhere the audio is very low and difficult to hear. Please help me for this.
During a call, turn down the volume and turn it back up. It's not a fix, it's just a workaround.
I had done all this but not working at all...

Same, work for me. Reduce volume-increase it, if the sound still too low, use Loudspeaker
