[Q] my grand on cm 11 incoming calls sound is very low - Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Hello developers
I have already installed cm11 android 4.4.2 on my phn 2 or three days back but now when an incoming call came or I dial somewhere the audio is very low and difficult to hear. Please help me for this.

During a call, turn down the volume and turn it back up. It's not a fix, it's just a workaround.

I had done all this but not working at all...

Same, work for me. Reduce volume-increase it, if the sound still too low, use Loudspeaker

This phone has two microphones, one on top and o e on the bottom.
I believe that when you make a call, the mic on the bottom is used by default. Both mic are enabled if you select noise cancellation during callas. Try that.
Otherwise, your problem may be more than just a broken mic, its kind of hard to break a microphone internally.

I think while in a call and in the dialer app you can access "noise cancellation" by pressing the capacitive settings button and a menu will pop up.

In Searching about the same problem this seems to be common on this phone for custom Roms... can't seem to find out why.
My phone with CM9 doesn't even have the switch for noise cancelling.
I have noticed that it makes a big difference if you speak into the mic directly - as in speakerphone vs holding it to your ear.
The mic works fine in voice recording. Bluetooth seems to be OK too.
Did not know there was a top mic... I wonder if there is a goof in the original code and the custom roms got the wrong mic...

call speaker error..

My t989 now have problem with headset , cannot hear anything during the call so i have use the speaker or 3.5l for phone
I have test with s2 secret code the heahset speaker is ok.
How i fix it now plz help me
Helpme please:fingers-crossed:

This is an issue with CM10 source but the latest nightlies seem to fix it some. It's still being worked on though.

I installed the newest PA and seems to have fixed the battery drain after that now my battery will last me about 9 hours compared to the 2 or 3 hours i would get before )

volume + if u want it loud that bad
I think the notifications sounds affect the volume of music or whatever is playing at the moment. I've noticed that I'll be playing music and I'll receive a text and my volume will go down and it won't go back up as loud....?

The same thing happens to me. Volume will not go back up automatically but if I hit the volume up or down it immediately goes back to where it was.

Can someone help me here?? Mic issue

I've been facing microphone issue in my zl. Recording works, earlier at least loudspeaker used to work after 244 even that doesn't work only during calls.? Checked service menu if I just at lower volume all I hear is some disturbance. If I shout its clear. It's it software problem or is it hardware??

N7105 very low bluetooth call volume.

My in call bluetooth volme is very low. I understand this is a common problem with the note 2 but I cannot find a workable solution. I did find one post which suggested installing alsamixer which I did. But I havent a clue where to find the bluetooth headset volume adjustment. Can anyone help? Thanks.
