[Q] Using Apple In Ear Headphones - Android

Hey Guys,
wasn't sure to put this in accessories or here.
So I know that the Apple jack layout is proprietary to their headphones.
Just got my new Xperia Play, and , as expected they only work if you press down the mic button.
Is there anyway (via app ect)to map the software to output to the apple Jack layout?

Dude, if you don't more describe your problem we can't help you...
You can't use earphone or the MODE?
What ROM are you used ?
Do they have mic ? If yes you need a 3.5 to 3.5 mm adapter, but you still won't be able to use the mic.
I had the same problem and needed the 3.5mm adapter to get it sorted out
I too cant use my skullcandy icon2. It wont work till I press the button near the mic

You should try the JVC Xtreme Xplosives, I already tryed the XX on a Galaxy SII and the Xperia Arc S sound Quality is better
BTW iPhone/iPod sound quality is crap
I ended up getting an MH1 LiveSound headset to replace my Beats Audio Headset as the Headset that comes with the Arc S doesn't have the sound quality that the Beats has and I misses the extra buttons that the Beats have, & my Sony Ericsson headset that I got for my X8 is no longer compatable due to the removal of the headset control contacts for the Media buttons. The liveKey is a good addition as via LiveWare Manager it allows you to set it up to open any app you choose, I've got my MH1s running alongside the LiveView Smart Watch (the original one) Media keys using the LiveViews Media Key emulation & the MH1s LiveKey setup to open the FM Radio app.

[Q]Connect Logitech G27 Racing Wheel to Xperia Ion

Hi guys i have an idiot question:
Is it possible to connect Logitech G27 Racing Wheel to Xperia ion via Sony Smart Dock?
Would it work?
'cause i'll buy an Xperia Ion and i have an Logitech G27 Racing Wheel and it would be amazing.
imagine that... just connect my phone to the dock and i would play 4example Asphalt 7 with g27 on my huge TV
...so what do u think?
because you can play with an ordinary gamepad with it:

Not going to happen. The wheel is dependent on a driver and only supports windows. At the same time I am pretty sure no Android games have support for a wheel so you could not calibrate it. Being a big sim racer I dont really play much racing stuff on my phone. Kinda spoiled I guess lol.

Sennheiser OCX 685i for Samsung Galaxy s3

Are these earphone fully compatible with the galaxy s3. I need a new pair cause the stock ones are trash.
They are apple certified so its any ones guess. Chances are the mic and middle button will work but the volume controls won't. At worst, not even the mic will work. Have a look at my thread below for a list of headset options, if you require sport headphones, a couple of the Meelectronic ones are sport editions
i think Sony MA500 is good:fingers-crossed:
I got them and tried them on a Galaxy Nexus i9250: the mic and middle button work but the volume controls don't.
On a Galaxy S i9000 nothing works: the mic, nor the middle button, nor the volume controls.
Hi,
I am using Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro (MK16i) and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (P3100).
Kindly confirm whether this headset is compatible with both Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro & Samsung Tab.

[Q] Do Beats by Dre headphone works with sony Xperia Zl ?

Hey I had Booked Monster Beats Dr. Dre Solo HD from Ebay, but I had Doubt that do it work with my Xperia Zl, N what would be its Audio Quality, Plz help n rply !
Do NOT buy Beats
They're **** headphones, cheaply made and sound like ****.
I've owned two different pairs of Beats, two different styles and the stock Sony earbuds that came with my ZL and Z1 sounded better.
Go to your local Sony store and check out their headphone selection. Match the price with what you're paying for Beats and you'll be blown away by the difference.
