[Q]Connect Logitech G27 Racing Wheel to Xperia Ion - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Hi guys i have an idiot question:
Is it possible to connect Logitech G27 Racing Wheel to Xperia ion via Sony Smart Dock?
Would it work?
'cause i'll buy an Xperia Ion and i have an Logitech G27 Racing Wheel and it would be amazing.
imagine that... just connect my phone to the dock and i would play 4example Asphalt 7 with g27 on my huge TV
...so what do u think?
because you can play with an ordinary gamepad with it:

Not going to happen. The wheel is dependent on a driver and only supports windows. At the same time I am pretty sure no Android games have support for a wheel so you could not calibrate it. Being a big sim racer I dont really play much racing stuff on my phone. Kinda spoiled I guess lol.

Moga Controller worth it?

Im thinking about buying this controller to play emulator games on my phone. Just wondering if its worth it or is there something better out there? The only thing is missing is the bumpers how would that affect in playing a psx emulator? Does anyone have this and can tell how good this thing is?.

The idea of having the phone attached directly to the controller is cool. But for the money, you would be better off buying a wireless PS3 controller and connect your phone through bluetooth via this app. At least then you can still use the controller for a PS3 or PC if needed.
Additionally, you can buy this extremely affordable Suction Ball Stand to set your phone on a desk/surface when gaming.
I managed to grab one of the MOGAs when they did their free+shipping Christmas offer. It works well, but I haven't tried it on any emulators yet.
I like it, but it is a questionable value at the $50 price point.. Like the prior reply, a PS3 remote would probably be better, but I couldn't pass up the chance to grab the MOGA for $5.
Google SNES Controller Bluetooth" or similar and bang out an affordable hack!
If you play at more 3rd Gen+ HW like PS1 etc. Maybe not ideal.
It does give you +3 to Nerdery and +2 to OG Rep though.

no support for any emulator or the games at this time but it is being worked on by the developers only games that will work with the moga game controller is the ones in the moga pivot app that syncs with the controller all other games are being coded by the developers to work with the moga, heres a list of games i have that work great
1.Asphalt 7<<<<apk
2.dead trigger
3.dungeon hunter<<<<apk
4.N.O.V.A. 3<<<<apk
5.pacman
6.sonic cd<<<apk
7.TDKR batman dark night rises<<<apk
all these games work great with the moga also via mini hdmi with my flat screen tv also there still other great games like grand theft auto & modern combat 4 wild blood and others soon to come that are being coded to work with the moga game controller also noted battery life not bad:good: i say great controller for on the go and for at home via hdmi with your galaxy S2, i got the moga when it frist came out and still works great.
caught this on engadget today. http://impulsecontroller.com/ Might be something to consider depending on what you're looking for
I was able to grab up a MOGA when they were giving them away, and I have both the official and the unofficial driver app (for emulators) on both my GS2 and Nexus 7 and I have to say that the controller works pretty fantastic both for emulators and for official games. Overall it is a great product that seems well made and manufactures, it connects fast with no issues, and is responsive. It still has L and R shoulder Buttons just no "L2" or "R2" which im guessing is what people refer to as bumpers. One downside for me with the MOGA though, is when playing NES/SNES/PSX emulation most prefer to have a D-Pad rather than be forced to use an analog stick. The MOGA has two nice analog sticks, but I think the lack of a D-pad is a downside on this compact model. A full size MOGA (Edit: http://www.destructoid.com/ces-full-size-moga-pro-controller-announced-for-android-241931.phtml here it is.) which looks more like a PS3 controller is supposed to be released soon as well, so be sure to google that before making a final decision.
For the money though, I agree with a few posts above me. There are pros and cons to both controllers, but If you are using it for mostly emulator gaming, I'd spend the money on a PS3 controller and use that. It'll be more comfortable, have more buttons, and can be set up great for emulators. The moga also works well, don't get me wrong... it's very portable, flat and fits well with your tablet or phone wherever you stash it, but if you don't have to worry about the portability factor then I'd take the PS3 controller over the moga still any time.
Bottom line. It's a great product that does what it says, but I wouldn't have bought one for the price tag if I hadnt gotten it for free in the deal. I would've eventually went PS3 or waited for the full size moga to drop.
I have a Moga controller and its freaking awesome.. Honestly it is more responsive in games than the PS3 controller was.. Not to mention they have alot of games are are optimized for the controller. Also If you download the universal driver the controller will work in unsupported games also.. For example GTA 3 doesn't work with the Moga app, but when you run the universal driver it works great..
Has anybody tried this ion go pad? Would it be compatible with our phone?

[Q] A thread about games (Ion)

okay guys so i have an xperia ion, and i have ran out of room on my phone for games and apps. this issue isnt that important as i can just uninstall some apps and reinstall later. a question i have about some of the games is how i might be able to map my xbox 360 controller buttons to some of the games that do not support it such as COD:BOZ and MC3&4. my setup is the sony DK20 smartdock with a standard micro hdmi and wired microsoft xbox 360 controller. any help with either of my issues would be great thankx. also as a suggestion to Ion owners who like zombie FPS games buy one of these docks and a controller because dead trigger is flawless with it.

On external controllers

Hello everybody,
I like playing games on my phone a lot, yet i really don't like the touch screen controls, for lack of feedback and responsiveness, therefore i am in the market for an external controller.
I have simple requirements for it :
>Must use Bluetooth connection since my phone (OPPO find 5) does not support OTG
>Must be compatible with my windows 8 laptop
>Must be compatible with Android emulators like FPSe and NESoid emulators
>should have 2 analog sticks
>Should be easy to set up
What do you guys suggest?
I'm interested too

MOGA Pro, I reviewed it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2351418
They have a new version now, MOGA Power Pro which has built-in extra capacity battery that actually charges your phone while you play, and it has an improved clip to hold bigger phones like Note 2/Note 3.
To be honest, I'm not much into game playing, and only used it for a little bit, but its definitely THE WAY to go if you want to play games on your phone with external controller. Or even better, connect your phone to tv through HDMI adapter, and play your phone or tablet games on big screen.
There is also a long discussion about iPega wireless game controller in this Accessories section of XDA, just look down a few threads below. Its a bit cheaper and also very popular. But MOGA has a much better built quality, and with POWER version offers a great way to charge your phone since you know it will get drained quickly during game play.

2,4GHz. wireless gamepad

Hello there! Did anyone tryed to connect a 2,4GHz. wireless gamepad to an android device (specifically a G Pad 8.3)? I've got a Natec PV44 which comes with an USB receiver, which works great on android, but you know, it's kind of messy to when an OTG cable with the USB dongle in it is sticking out of the tablet... The G Pad didn't find the gamepad through BT or Wifi, so I guess if there aren't some special drivers for connecting a 2,4GHz. gamepad without the USB dongle, it won't work Which is kind of sad. I'm totally not a gamepad guy, the last time when I was playing games with a gamepad was in the 90's on some kind of Nintendo clone. Even racing games like NFS on PC aren't that good with the gamepad... But for example the Reckless Racing 3 on Android was pretty nice to play with the gamepad.

[Q] How good are iPega controllers for standard Playstore games?

I am interested in purchasing an iPega. I want to replace my Moga Pocket that looks great but doesn't work with enough games for me. Anyway, I'd like to know if the iPega is a quality choice, plus I really want a controller with a phone holder built in. I noticed on Amazon, they carry the 9023 which puts your device between the pads, and the 9025 which puts your device above the pad. I'm really diggin' the 9023.
Main questions:
With a non rooted Verizon Note 4 Edge, will I be able to use the iPega to play standard Playstore games or is this kind of controller meant mostly for emulated games?
Does the game developer decide whether a controller will work or is the iPega software built to work with ANY game? (Again, I have no root, and no root in sight).
Thank you!
