Hello, i suppose i am another noob on here lol
I did a full wipe on my phone before flashing the ROM, i've installed gapps and such.
So i believe i've done the process correctly.
And i came to realise i have one little problem, and that is my Bluetooth won't turn on.
Whenever i slide it to 'ON' it forces itself to be off.
It will be grateful if anyone can help me out here or point me to the right thread ( i apologise if this has already been asked)
Thanks in advance!
Problem resolved.

I recently flashed my diamond with a new rom however sometimes the phone is just freezing and won't work not even turn off!! I need to give it a hard reset to get it to work again. does anyone know what the problem might be??
cheers
Did you use MTTY before flashing?
Here's a link to the dedicated thread:

it will probably solve your problem.
i recently had an issue similar with yours and the only thing that worked for me was to return to stock rom from htc
then everything was smooth again and i'm taking a break from flashing for now
Hi guys,
Im currently using the MIUI xj roms... everything is working alright except i cant received calls... whenever some one calls me it automatically rejects it .. Can some one help me out with this ..i been thru the settings and all and i cant seems to solve the problem..
Thanks in advance.
Have you flashed with Clockworkmod?
If so, boot into recovery mode first do a backup and then try to do a full wipe.
Or put CyanogenMod on it, I like that one much more then the MIUI.
Good Luck!
There is a "privacy"/"DND mode" toggle somewhere in MIUI that does exactly what you are describing. Sorry I can't be more precise, but I don't have MIUI at the moment - I just remember fiddling around with that setting a while ago, and it worked like that.
Hey all,
About a year ago I got a new DHD everything was working fine. I rooted it (using visionary), tried cyanogen mod, went back to the original sense/frayo backup and finally installed a new kernel (Buzz)...
After that my proximity sensor stopped working, I kind of just put up with it because I was busy at uni, I just got used to manually turning my screen off. I thought it was something to do with the kernel and/or backup I was running. Since then I have installed Android Revolution 6.3.1 with new kernel and radio and thought it might just start working again but it hasn't...
My question then is:
Could I have done something to affect it while flashing/rooting e.t.c?
Is there any way I can check?
Is it likely to be a hardware failure? (the phone was less than a month old when it stopped working)
oh and I have tried Proximity Re-calibrator and it dose nothing (Unless it doesn't work with ARHD 6.3.1).
Thank you for your time.
This is a common problem. It's in the faq of the ARHD rom and the answer is:

I have tried and tried Proximity Sensor Recalibrator.... no change.
What did you do in the app? Did you also read some of the posts below the first posts on how to use it? I mean, a lot of people have already posted there that they have all sorts of problems with the sensor. If there is really nothing that helps you I would try flashing at least one more time with wiping everything (btw, did you do a full wipe before coming to arhd?)
Yes used the super wipe as suggested.
I've been holding my finger over the sensor and increasing the thresholds, attempting to get a change, all combinations of the sliders and it just says 'far' continually.
Thanks for replying, sorry if its just that I'm just using the program incorrectly...
Full wipe and re-flash tried everything in Proximity Sensor Recalibrator nothing changes...
Hi everyone,
I just updated my Galaxy note 2 with the latest ARHD 9.2, coming from 9.1, without wiping. The fact is the bottom buttons are not vibrating anymore...
I tried to flash the ROM again, but still it doesn't vibrate. I already made sure that the vibration was enabled in the sound settings, tried to deactivate it and reactivate.
Is anyone having the same issue? Could somebody help me with this?
Thanks.
Try Reflashing ROM with a Full Wipe
OK, that's what I wanted to avoid... But I guess I have no other choice...
I'll do that and keep you updated ! Thanks
OK, just wiped my phone and flashed the ROM again, and... you were right! It works!
Just need to restore all my apps now...
Thanks for your support.

So I just rooted my Samsung sgh t-989 the tmobile one. I put TWRP 2.5 and have Cygenmod 10.1 running. I was all excited because I have notdone this kind of stuff since middle school.
But The problem is my Bluetooth is "disabled" When i try to turn it on it just goes right off, I have no idea where to start to fix this problem. I already tried google and searching the forums but no solutions.
Which date of cm10.1 did you flash? You need to give more details. Flash a custom kernel? What's your radio you're using?

I've had exactly the same problem, using the CM 10.1 RC5a.
Bluetooth will do as you described - be disabled, when clicked on, will jump to off again.
Restarting always fixes it momentarily.
If BT is on, and successfully connects to my car, and I'm able to place a call, first no one can hear me, the call is dropped, and BT shuts off to remain permanently disabled til I reboot the system.
After a reboot, its usually ok for a couple hours.
Lots of other users are having the same problem....

Also, flashing this fix now, will report back:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2174100
I wiped dalvik/cache, flashed the BT fix, fix permissions, then rebooted.
Just CM 10.1 RC5a, UVMC6 radio, I upgraded firmware using the UVMC6.aio.tar.md5 file made by Mikeyman
Hope it works - really tired of having to reboot every time i want to make a call over BT car audio...

36 hours on this and no BT crashes!
Faster connection to car audio, and call stability is much better.
Also remember after reboot to delete all devices, and re-add them.
