Unbelievably amazing screen protector. Light years ahead of the Spigen Glas.T and the MiMe glass screen protectors.
Best screen protector out for our phone.
Very thin, glass, feels like naked screen, but unobtrusive. Can't even tell it's there.

Seems like it isn't as good as normal glass, going by their own guide at the bottom of the page. Much more durable, but doesn't protect screen glass as well.
I went with Feather Glass, will see how it goes.
Not a bad looking screen protector, pretty cool how it's flexible but don't see how that makes it more practical than the other glass protectors available in the market. Also, there's only 0.03mm of difference between this (0.12mm thickness) and the MIME Feather Glass (0.15mm thickness). I saw the review done by Danny Winget and it looked pretty decent. I went with the MIME Feather Glass however due to it still maintaining the 9H hardness as opposed to the 8H hardness. Can barely tell it's there too, compared to other glass protectors available.
I just ordered on through amazon after seeing this review, we'll see how it is. Anything has to be better than this piece of crap mediadevil screen protector.
My ZAGG got a hair thin scratch right down the middle, so thin I couldn't tell if it was a scratch in the protector or a crack in my screen. After months of wondering I decided to just take it off and thank the FSM it wasn't a crack....
...later that day I managed to scuff the screen. FML!. So, I ordered this. good price and I've been wanting to try a glass screen protector. Thanks for the heads up and review/guide!
I just put this on two days ago. I'm with you, this thing is fantastic. Make sure to put it on in a steamy room. I just used my shower. Helps keep all the dust out when you're putting it on.

So many different glass screen protectors. Don't know which one to choose.
Just installed the iLoome flex today. I can't say enough good things about it.Installation was a breeze, super thin, extremely smooth and clear. You can't tell anything is on the screen. The thinness is amazing for a glass screen protector.I am very impressed. The also were very thoughtful with the lint removal tape and hinge for application.I can't imagine a better product design, fit, and ease of use. Thanks for the review. I know what I'll be buying in the future.
Got mine today and my impressions pretty much echo that of everyone else. The optical clarity is amazing.
Got mine today and ordered one based on this post. Size is as close to edge to edge as I've seen but the "hinge stickers" work great to line up the protector with the screen perfectly. As others have said the clarity is impressive. Not just the straight on view but the edge of the protector is very hard to see, making it look as if there isn't a protector on at all. In fact, during installation I had to triple check that when I peeled away the top protective skin from the actual iLoome that I wasn't taking the iLoome off as well. It was that hard to see.
As if right now, it's my favorite screen protector I've ever used and depending on how well it holds up will likely replace ZAGG as my go to protector.
My only issue so far is it's not "slick" and sliding your finger isn't smooth, but I'm sure that will get better over time.

Hi all, i have been using this screen protector for about a week now and love it.
Those that get the issue of the screen being too "course" or not slippery enough, what i did was i had some left over iklear or use some glasses cleaner and it should make things alot better. Mine feels just like the naked screen.
Definitely recommend
I ordered mine allot of good feed back here all positive

Well got my screen protector from empire case today and as soon as I seen how it was delivered knew it was going straight back. So waited since the sixth of this month for it so was disappointed when it come smashed. But if you look at the way it was sent you can see why I can't believe there incompetence at sending there product out like this. So I will have to pay for it to go back never mind to receive it can't explain how angry I am with them for sending it like this no fragile on packaging even so if you order one beware. Will be ordering the iloome so long as it's packaged properly so can some one tell me if it is thanks

Mine came in a padded bag with the retail package. The retail package itself seems to be pretty durable also.

So my SPG GLAS came in the mail yesterday. I've had some time to fool around with it, so I thought I'd post some of my more detailed impressions as well as some pics.
The biggest surprise of the entire product was its size. The GLAS does NOT cover the entire phone, but stops short a couple of millimeters on all sides - actually, right before the screen starts curving. It does make your screen feel smaller, and does remove that wonderful edge-to-edge glass feeling, but it doesn't impair functionality.
It does fit well - all cutouts are perfectly aligned, IF you can put it on perfectly. Mine was shifted just down and to the right, which made the Samsung logo under the speaker grill look a bit odd. But the soft key backlighting did turn out - when the light is on, it's impossible to tell that it's actually coming from a layer behind the GLAS. Maybe it's because its so thin - especially of you have a case that is raised around the edges, and even if you don't, it hardly seems thicker with than without the GLAS.
And glas(s) it is. The surface feels extremely smooth and infinitely better than any wet screen protector. I don't have the Curved Crystal, so I can't compare to that, but this does feel *very* slick. But it's not perfect. If you have SHS (sweaty hands syndrome) like me you'll notice a little bit of friction increase over the original screen, but not much. Overall, it feels awesome.
And then you turn your phone on. And try to swipe to unlock, but nothing happens. Really. Touch responsiveness is noticeably decreased with the GLAS. Especially while typing. It's fine if you make a conscious effort to press a little harder, but it has almost driven me crazy when keys don't register, when it mistakes a swipe for a tap in the app drawer, or when my screen doesn't unlock. If you're a more deliberate or heavy-handed user, this probably won't affect you, but those of use who use Swiftkey like a crutch and fly through homescreens like there's no tomorrow, you might want to stick with a dry protector like the Curved Crystal.
...And here are some pics. Feel free to ask me anything, just don't expect to get answered instantly.

Not to be a **** but there's already two other reviews about this. The sensitivity has been a concern but nothing is never perfect the first time. Look at the Spectre. There's a lot more complains for both the S3 version n GNex version

Also after a while there's a trick to getting along with the sensitivity issue. I really noticed it when I first got it. I barely notice it now although I make the common typing errors cuz of it. I still contacted SGP n I'll try to get a replacement. I didn't exactly align the protector right (did it the moment I woke up) n it kinda bugs me lol

Was about to buy this, after seeing this, imma stick with my belkin anti-glare..
Of course, the ideal would be something like Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) Diamond on top of the original GG2 face. Hmmm... maybe I just invented GG3?
That would have to be the ultimate scratch resistance but would of course not help you when it comes to dropping the phone.
Having said that, there is no after market "screen protector" that will stop the glass actually breaking.
I got the SGP Ultra Crystal protectors for my gs3 and my Nexus 7 and I am very impressed. Can't even tell they are on there and they clean up amazingly hardly leaving finger prints at all...it feels like I don't even have one on. They made a glass version for the Galaxy Note 2 that is supposedly even better than the Ultra Crystal, but people are reporting it's too thick and is making the S-Pen hard to use.
I was about to buy the Zagg HD invisi-shield, well I actually did buy it at Best Buy at the recommendation of a friend, but when I got home and looked up reviews I was astonished to see it was awful, and I paid $25 for it. I then listened to everyone in the thread and got the SGP Ultra Crystal dry protectors for $13 comes with 2. I am very happy with my purchase. I just ordered one for my Note 2, bout to get one for my iPad.

I used a screen protector on my Palm Pre a few years back not the Zagg I personally don't like their products. It was one of them that came with a spray bottle and squeegee card to apply and it worked phenomenal. No difference in the response on the touch screen at all, and when I sold it to a company that takes in phones it was in immaculate condition, and I got top dollar for it. Along with no clarity issues where some like the Zagg's can have either a glare, or the material that you run a finger nail or card over and makes the "zipping" sounds. The kind with the really small ridges...anyways. I didn't put one on my Evo4G and it lasted fine even though it was dropped a good 20 times literally. The outside case along the edges and corners had gouges and scratches where the red material under the white exterior was showing through. Yet the screen was still awesome no blemishes at all!
I thought about putting a screen protector on my new Gn2 but was going to wait and read some user reviews on how well or poorly they did. My main concern was the S-Pen and its touted 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity, being as I use the S-Pen on a daily basis. I do NOT want to hinder it's performance in anyway, another reason why I am looking into the available flashable ROMs on the forums right now. As of today if it x's out S-Pen functionality it is a deal breaker for me.
On a side note, and no offense to the OP not trying to take your thread off track just a simple answer will due. Does the JellyBomb ROM take away S-Pen functionality and compatibility?
I use the flip cover. Seems to do the trick. But that's not even a 100%. I personally can't do the protector. I know I will have scratches, it can come from touching anything and then your screen, but its the deep ones from sand and a like that I can't stand. The flip cover did awesome on my S3 and so far my N2.

I also am just using the OEM Samsung flip cover. I think the very fine hairline scratches are actually in the oleophobic coating on the glass and not in the glass itself. Now, deep scratches like from sand that you can catch a fingernail on are very rare. Like it has been mentioned before, the only thing that CAN scratch glass is something HARDER than glass. People saying that they have had luck buffing out scratches with Turtle Wax also reinforces my theory that these "scratches" are really only in the screen coating.

if you live in a cleaner environment and are careful you do NOT need a screen protector. but you DO run the risk of a random scratch.
1xS2 2xS3 1xN2 no SP's and ZERO scratches.
NOW if your a mechanic work around machinery industrial (IE grease and grit) or in construction contracting carpentry (around wood dust and particles of constructions materials etc..) YOU NEED a screen protector.
ESPECIALLY if you keep in your pocket (where this material will gather always) and use a case.
otherwise the "grit" will get between the case and screen and grind away at it till you have this nice neat "scratch box" around the edge of the screen where the case touches
I am not near grease and grit so I go nakid (but always cased) and I have not had a problem yet.
now YMWV to spell that out YOUR MILEAGE WILL VARY so don't assume.
if a tiny scratch would really bother you Slather on the SP's !!
OH and scratches in the COATING of its the same as on my glasses (oleophobic??) are a PAIN.
they are not scratches and they are HARD to clean. you MUST use an absolutely "CLEAN" cloth to wipe the screen or it just "smears" instead of "cleaning"
now I have NOT noticed this on the Note II so I am guessing the coating is different than the PITA coating on my glasses.
I have also noticed scratches. I didn't use a screen protector when I first got my phone, because I wanted to order a full clear protective film (from bodyguardz.com for $25) that covers the whole phone so I can show off its beauty, so I treated my phone like it was my first born. And still, very tiny scratches developed on the glass. While this was happening, I was waiting for my screen protector to get here, and it took forever! Guess the end results scratches waiting for the delivery.
Not the end of the world, and no one else can see them, but I see it, and that's enough.
As for the back, the plastic also has small scuffs. But that's expected. The sad part is the screen protector I got also covers the back. So scratches everywhere. Meh, what can you do?

Yellowman82, yes it is. They do have different ones such as Zagg kiosks in the mall but I cant speak of the quality of Zagg cuz I've never tried them. Ghost Armour is pretty good tho, normally put it on all the phones I get. Id install the screen protectors myself but I always either get lint or fingerprints underneath it. They usually do a good job at the install.

Right now I am using a DBA screen protector and although it is a great protector, it is not what I am looking for. I am looking for a protector that covers the whole screen and does not leave the 1mm edge around it that looks like it is lifting up. And a protector that looks as clear as the naked screen.
So far I have narrowed it down to these two. I wish I could see both in person. Thats why I am asking you guys is you have had experience with either. I figure XDA is probably a better source than amazon reviews as many here are picky like I am.

Unfortunately, I haven't tried either of those. I use the Zagg HD screen right now, and I can say that it keeps the screen looking sharp and protects it well. Don't go to cheap and end up with a scratch and regret not spending the extra $5
try the realook one, its really high quality and is super durable
I've used the both ArmorSuit screen protector and the dba one, currently using the dba. The ArmorSuit does indeed cover the whole screen and even comes with a small film that covers the home button. Installation is the standard wet application, it slides around pretty easily once you set it on the phone before the water is squeege'd out. Be warned though that the ArmorSuit dents very easily and contrary to their "self healing" claim, it's not true. I had a weird dent on the top part of my screen protector and thought it would go away eventually, two weeks later it was still there. Also in terms of smoothness, it's pretty smooth for a wet application but the dba screen protector wins in that regard. Customer service for AS is also pretty good, I told them about the dent and they sent me two new screen protectors.
Just for comparison's sake, I've owned a skinomi screen protector for an iPhone4s, it's not as smooth as AS and it acquired an orange peel effect in a pretty short amount of time. There was also some imperfections on the screen protector that caused vertical streaks all over the protector. But customer server for skinomi is excellent and they sent me a new pack after I told them about the issue.
I would still say that dba > AS > skinomi but if you're really keen on having the screen protector cover the whole face of the phone then I would suggest you go with AS
dont know how come this isnt mentioned more often but i have been using bestskinsever for some time and ive been extremely pleased with them. they are pretty cheap to boot too. just grabbed a bunch during the BOGO for black friday
I have a friend that says he likes the armor suit military. I have yet to get a screen protector and might just go without one but I think if I do I will go with the armor suit as I have heard others that like it.

I actually ended up with the hd. I like it and it has minimal orange peel. However, the installer nicked it in a couple of spots and said they would go away within 5 days or so (otherwise they will replace it). They have gotten smaller and I am on day two. Have you had experience with dings fully going away?
Thanks for the replies!!

I tried the Armor Suit and it shows nicks in it ... they say it heals over time, but after a week it still shows them

I'll echo this. I've used this brand on multiple devices and I've always been very happy with it. I just ordered from them yesterday. They are very inexpensive and have a 30% off sale through the 14th.
Anyone tried glass screen protector from xgearlive.com for this device?

I like the Xtremeguard protectors because mine seems to get better the longer I use it.

Unfortunately, I haven't tried either of those. I use the Zagg HD screen right now, and I can say that it keeps the screen looking sharp and protects it well. Don't go to cheap and end up with a scratch and regret not spending the extra $5

Hey guys I wanted a just like glass screen protector and amzer and SGP ones are out if stock only one I could find is siedio but seems expensive. Any ideas where or which to get? Thanks

I would spend the money on the spigen glas.t but according to this forum it has been discontinued:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1929381
I didn't read the full thing, i just googled it. But i will say this, I dropped my iPad 3 face down(glass down) on concrete and it protected it. It fell about 4 feet and came out without any damage whatsoever.

I swear by ZAGG. If you watch the demo video then it should sell you too. Yes its a little more expensive than the 3 dollar scotch tape cover you can get at the grocery store, but you spent a lot of money on the phone with its sharp screen, I figure its worth it. I had the ZAGG cover on my Thunderbolt and it worked great. I liked it so much I have one on my GS3.
DBA Cases sells a screen protector called "Just Like Glass". I just bought one for me and my mom. I must say the feel is great, almost "like glass" and the screen doesn't diminish in quality one bit. It is a wet application. The sides on mine don't want to stick down all the way. The instructions said this would happen and after a few days it will stick. I've only had it applied a couple days so I'm still crossing my fingers. They are only $13.50. I would definitely recommend one. http://www.dbacases.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-screen-protectors.aspx
I highly suggest glasszone. No proximity problems, no response problems. 9H hardness, I've dropped it twice from waist height on concrete floor and it's not scratched, though I'm not 100% if the initial impact was with ground. The only thing I have against it is the (barely) visible layer of glitter on the edges, or what the manufacturer calls "pearl effect". I barely notice it, and it's only really visible under a few instances. You can find it on ebay
iMuse glass protector could be a good solution:

Do all the tempered glass protectors make the screen look odd, or are some better and more "HD" than others? I read the thread about the xgear one and it sounds like it distorts the screen.

Yes it definitely disturbs. That's why the sticker type protector is somehow a better choice, but if you have a sturdy case protector to begin with you don't need a screen protector, that gorilla glass will serve it purposes.

Yes the Spigen is discontinued but Seidio has its Vitreo which I feel is a little better that Spigens Glas... I have had both and like the Vitreo better just slightly and also comes in black and white

I ordered mine from Bestskinsever. Quality is like Zagg Invisible Shield for about 1/4 of the price.
I don't like the Zagg ones, its very clear when you're using them that you have a screen protector on. I have the DBA Just Like Glass mentioned above. I like it for the most part. The screen protector has gotten very scratched up but the screen is safe and sound. Worst bit about it is that the edges dont look properly adhered. They havent peeled up for me but they look like they arent stuck on as well as the rest of the protector
I just ordered my spigen ultra nano clear will report back

Do NOT buy*
SPIGEN SGP Samsung Galaxy S3 Premium Glass Screen Protector White
Glass looks and feels great.
HOWEVER
Must be used with a raised home button and case on the edges.
Sensitivity was severely compromised.
You wouldn't notice on regular use, but as soon as you got typing. I became very frustrated. Ruined texting all together.
Even swype was some garbage.
40$ well wasted.

I've been using a Qmadix tempered tech armor and it does need a raised sticker and only comes with three. It works great though and I haven't lost any use. I bought mine in white from a sprint store and my only complaint is the dust that gets stuck on the glue like edges underneath. I can post pictures of the box and the glass screen protector if requested my camera just isn't connecting on the cm10.1 nightlie I have haha

I don't trust Gorilla glass at all, seen so many phones scratched that have it and it does nothing for impacts.
I pre ordered the Tudia case from Amazon.com on Sunday Aug. 3rd and received it on Wednesday August 6th.
Inside the small bubble envelope, I found the case. It was packaged in plastic like many other Chinese cases. It even included a cardboard dummy phone with Chinese writing.
I tore into the plastic and found that despite the cheap container, the case is fairly nice. It isn't very thick and barely adds any overall thickness to the phone. The back of the case feels a bit like velvety rubber, and on the top and bottom ends the plastic is glossy and smooth.
The holes on the case match up perfectly with all of the holes on my device.
The front lip of the case sticks out far enough to protect the Screen when the phone is face down.
The buttons line up nicely, and are easy to press.
I bought this case because I needed a tough case for work. Unfortunately, this case is no different than any other TPU case that I've owned. It seems that it will provide enough protection for day to day things, but if you are looking for extra protection, look elsewhere.
Overall, I think the price is a bit high for what I got. The case looks nice, but I'm a fan of the sandstone back that comes on the phone and if I'm going to cover it up, I'd prefer to cover it with something with more protection. Also, the case is a bit more slippery than the original back of the phone. The phone offers no more protection than any of the 99 cent cases on ebay.

Will it play well with a glass screen protector?
It appears to have enough room for a glass screen protector, but I can't give you a definite answer because I haven't tried it. There is a very small gap between the lip and the screen. I suppose it depends on the thickness of your screen protector.
Others will be receiving them today and tomorrow and someone will probably chime in with your answer.
Thanks for the review!
Ordered that same one yesterday and one of those aluminum bumpercases the day I got my invite - of course neither will show till next week I'm guessing
So far the only issue I have found getting a new phone from a small company is lack of accessories, the ones I'm finding aren't exactly what I want but will make due.
Just hope more options show over the next few months!

No problem. I'm hoping someone offers a more rugged case soon. I just recently got my one plus one also and I've found it hard to get nice accessories. I'm sure I'll jump to the next big thing in a few months though. This is my third phone this year, so it's a trend lately.

How are they showing up? I did all of this on mobile and they came out fine. Are they insanely huge on the desktop version? I can get online and change their size shortly if so.

Hopefully they are somewhat clear. I took all of them except the last few with the One camera. It doesn't seem to be as clear as my note 3 camera, but I'm still trying to learn all the bells and whistles. I like this phone though.

Thanks! Maybe so. I have a few things I'm working on for all devices. I develop apps mostly, but all this "theme" stuff has piqued my interests.
Aside from that, I'd really like to join a ROM Dev group and work with other developers.
I received both my Tudia and glass protector.

Yep, I didn't want to complain about the injection nub on it, because I don't know if it is possible to make them without it, but it is noticeable for sure.
