I pre ordered the Tudia case from Amazon.com on Sunday Aug. 3rd and received it on Wednesday August 6th.
Inside the small bubble envelope, I found the case. It was packaged in plastic like many other Chinese cases. It even included a cardboard dummy phone with Chinese writing.
I tore into the plastic and found that despite the cheap container, the case is fairly nice. It isn't very thick and barely adds any overall thickness to the phone. The back of the case feels a bit like velvety rubber, and on the top and bottom ends the plastic is glossy and smooth.
The holes on the case match up perfectly with all of the holes on my device.
The front lip of the case sticks out far enough to protect the Screen when the phone is face down.
The buttons line up nicely, and are easy to press.
I bought this case because I needed a tough case for work. Unfortunately, this case is no different than any other TPU case that I've owned. It seems that it will provide enough protection for day to day things, but if you are looking for extra protection, look elsewhere.
Overall, I think the price is a bit high for what I got. The case looks nice, but I'm a fan of the sandstone back that comes on the phone and if I'm going to cover it up, I'd prefer to cover it with something with more protection. Also, the case is a bit more slippery than the original back of the phone. The phone offers no more protection than any of the 99 cent cases on ebay.

Will it play well with a glass screen protector?
It appears to have enough room for a glass screen protector, but I can't give you a definite answer because I haven't tried it. There is a very small gap between the lip and the screen. I suppose it depends on the thickness of your screen protector.
Others will be receiving them today and tomorrow and someone will probably chime in with your answer.
Thanks for the review!
Ordered that same one yesterday and one of those aluminum bumpercases the day I got my invite - of course neither will show till next week I'm guessing
So far the only issue I have found getting a new phone from a small company is lack of accessories, the ones I'm finding aren't exactly what I want but will make due.
Just hope more options show over the next few months!

No problem. I'm hoping someone offers a more rugged case soon. I just recently got my one plus one also and I've found it hard to get nice accessories. I'm sure I'll jump to the next big thing in a few months though. This is my third phone this year, so it's a trend lately.

Hopefully they are somewhat clear. I took all of them except the last few with the One camera. It doesn't seem to be as clear as my note 3 camera, but I'm still trying to learn all the bells and whistles. I like this phone though.

Thanks! Maybe so. I have a few things I'm working on for all devices. I develop apps mostly, but all this "theme" stuff has piqued my interests.
Aside from that, I'd really like to join a ROM Dev group and work with other developers.

I found this case at Amazon for less than $10. It's white rubber/TPU on the sides, and the back is clear, slightly frosted polycarbonate (but not 'blurry' - see the images below), very similar to the Griffin REVEAL case available for the iPhone and other older models. The back is solid, and the buttons work well through the rubber sides - a good alternative for people who like the look of bumper cases, but want back protection and want to avoid the discoloration of clear TPU cases.

Beautiful case (like most white TPU) but you're sorely mistaken if you think it won't discolor like the clear ones. It actually will look worse as it sticks out more on a white background.
Don't believe me? Take a picture of your case in two weeks and update the OP. One week if you're a smoker

I've had it for almost a month, and these photos were taken today - haven't noticed any obvious discoloration yet... I think the rubber is a little thicker/less porous than TPU. I don't keep it in my hand all day (usually on the desk). I had the clear Diztronic case first, and saw discoloration in days with that one.

Well, it's still plastic, so it will scratch if you try hard enough. Mine has a few mild scratches, but they aren't deep enough to be noticable without looking for them.

I thought somebody might ask that! It's the elago M2 mobile stand - it comes in black and silver. It's solid (solid!) metal; I also have the larger one they make for my iPad.
Hi all,
I've been a lurker for many years here on XDA and figured I'd try and contribute for once. Sorry if someone has posted a review on this case in the other threads. I looked around for a bit but didn't find any.
I received my Speck GemShell for my HTC One http://www.speckproducts.com/smartphone-cases/htc/gemshell-for-htc-one.html about 3 days ago. It's a hard plastic case with gel incorporated around it. BTW, for those considering shipping options, mine shipped out from Oklahoma so it reached me in Chicago in a day via the free shipping option (USPS). That being said, here are my impressions so far:
Pros:
- The case still leaves the phones feeling pretty slim (though I still do prefer it nekkid).
- It's clear except for a gel around the front rim, corners, and inputs.
- The gel around the front rim elevates the phone when placing it on its face.
- The gel around the inputs will hopefully prevent wearing/cracking of the hard plastic.
- Seems well sealed enough that I haven't seen any dust or pocket enter the space between the case and phone.
- The speck logo on the back is really well done. It makes it seem like it's a part of the aluminum.
Cons:
- The power button becomes really recessed. Not a deal breaker for me but definitely something to take note of.
- Interacting with the volume buttons requires more effort.
- I'm OCD on keeping fingerprints off my phone/case and the cleaning has left micro-scratches on the case. So far it doesn't interfere with the appearance but we'll see after a longer period of time.- Wish the gel actually covered the entire sides, top, and bottom for better coverage. Even with the clear plastic, you don't really see the aluminum on the sides, top, and bottom.
So you can see the selling point of this phone is not only that it's a clear case but the gel that they've incorporated into it. I'm a bit sad on the micro-scratches but I'm not convinced there's any other case-based solution that would be cost effective. I've attached pictures of the case below.
Hope this mini-review helps!

I just got this case in the mail over the weekend (still waiting on phone) and The case feels rather flimsy on its own and is incredibly thin. I have no doubt it'll protect against scratches, but feels like it'll do nothing for drops. I didn't expect Otterbox protection, but was hoping for some kind of impact absorption. Anyone have any experience with these cases and drops with previous devices?
Actually I went into the Sprint store on Thursday the 18th & purchased the white & silver speck case cor my HTC ONE that I was receiving in the mail the next day on the 19th & liked my case on it because it matches tne phone perfectly & fits it really tight like a body glove. It's hard to put on & hard to take off but I saw the clear gel case by speck o line yesterday morning & wanted that one because it will show my phone all the way around, I just dont want it to loosen up over time but this one I do have by speck is a hard shell case on the outside but a softgray rubber on the inside

Hey guys, there's so many cases on the market, I really can't decide on what to buy. I'm looking for a few, definite things that I must have, however :
Must be as thin as possible
Easy installation (no glue spraying or wetting, etc)
Must come in either black or silver
If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks.
After trying incipio, greatshield, diztronic, and Nilkin, IMO Nilkin is the best slim case and thats the one I kept finally.

Neither did I but I guess some of the ones like Ghost Armor require some sort of adhesive and knowing me, I'd totally screw that up and bork my phone.
Anyway, I ended up going with the Poetic Atmosphere case, I hope it's as good as it looks, and it does have very good reviews, so I hope it was worth the price. But it wasn't that much anyway, if I don't like it I will probably just trade it.
Rock has a good line of super thin cases. I'm using a black one and it looks outstanding on the black phone. Only thing is, since it is so thin, it is more of a scratch guard than a drop guard. Aside from that, I can't recommend it enough.

I love my incipio feather shine. Just make sure you get the one with the revised cutouts. The regular feather is not an issue. But the shine had a 1st gen style without a proper cutout for power cord. Revised version has power cord cutout and SIM tray cutout added to it. I'm sending mine back tomorrow for the revised version. Already have an rma for it. Case is amazing though. Incredible look and feel. I've had about 5 people ask me. "are you going to get a case for it ?" Then I tell them.. umm.. that IS the case. and upon closer look they see that it does intact have a case and it is not part of the phone.

dont know for sure but i think it'll be close. because of the way this phone appears to curve is why im unsure. I actually have a clear zagg on the back of mine though and that turned out great. The front zagg didnt make it but the back has been on since launch, cant tell its there. Ask me again in june if you're interested
Another thing i'm unsure about is if the aluminum will affect the radios. HTC made the sides with plastic because of reception. The aluminum bumpers will cover that.
this case fits great. I use it over my spigen clear.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Clear-Ultra...t=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item41726f2a24
Must say i love the Poetic FlipBook Case.
Poetic Atmosphere Case or Cimo Grip Back Case Flexible TPU Cover?
Or would anyone else care to recommend a clear, slim case for the HTC One.
OtterBox +1

OtterBox is good.
Recommend it for you.
I already posted about this case, but I didn't include any pictures, so I'll do it now. This is the Rock Ethereal that I use. I bought the black one, and it looks so damn good on the black. It's as super slim as they come.

Where do I buy this?
I was a backer on their Kickstarter campaign and decided to try it out for my Z1. I used the mark 1 version and i was good but it had issues with it getting dented. I then received a free mark 2 and used it on my nexus 7 2013. I really like it much improved. I had used it on my Xperia Z but then when I got my Z1 they didn't have yet. I got an email saying that since I was a backer I get 25% off so I decided to try it out. It comes with a front and back protector or just the front.
I have been using tempered glass protectors for a awhile but today I knocked my phone when putting down my beer. I chipped the side of the tempered glass protector. This was a perfect time to try out the Rhino shield. I must say first impressions are great. It has a nice smooth feel and one important benefit is it won't chip or crack. With My nexus 7 it has held up well against scratches but only time will tell.

Ya it's got all the cutouts. It's been really nice so far. No Complaints. I haven't test banging a hammer against it like the video shows but it definitely is way different than the standard plastic film you buy. I had them on nexus 4 and it survived a couple of drops, it's been on my nexus 7 for 5 months and held up great.

Easier than the cheap ones but still need to be dust free. I have install so many over the years that I have gotten pretty good at it. I always steam up the bath room and clean the screen with an alcohol wipe. To make sure I always give it a blast with compressed air right before i place it on.
Mine came today.

I took it off a while ago. I don't see any issues applying it over top though.
This is very nice but I wondering if my phone will fit on my dock DK31 after apply the screen protector on the front and back? Anyone did?

If your dock came with the two spacers then it should fit. I have a ebay dock that came with two spacers and mine fit in the dock just fine but you need to use the larger of the two spacers.

Yes, I got the larger one but that one is for the phone with case, for the screen protectors is too big. The phone will dance inside with that one.
It fits nicely with them on remember it's front and back protector the I have on so it adds about 6mm of thickness

Amazing! I need to buy one!
Z1 screen protector
To be honest, I am happy with the GEARMAXX screen protector I got (front and back) which cost me $12 including p&p. From experience and reading the reviews of others, there isnt much between a GEARMAXX and a Rhino aside from the price...Rhino sells for about $25 (see here). I did have to wait longer for it as it comes from Hong Kong but it was totally worth the wait. Here it is a pic of mine when it arrived

I have both the Gearmaxx and Rhino, the Rhino's major advantages is the anti fingerprint coating and it's ability to absorb some impact. It is also 95% transparent which is very impressive. It also has a much nicer smoother feel that the gearmaxx. The Gearmaxx is better than the cheap PET and less than half the price of the rhino. I can do a side by side comparison if people are interested. I am also planning on doing a couple tests to see how much impact the rhino shield can take.

This is literally a copy+paste from my post on Google+ find that one here with lots more photos - https://plus.google.com/103184848438617607889/posts/eg5ALeSq6uG
So I've been super busy these past few days but I wanted to share with everyone something I got for my #Nexus5 from +Cruzerlite ... This is _my_ mini-review of the Cruzerlite #TruGlass screen protector and a mini-comparison with MIMEUSA's Ghost Glass...
*Initial remarks*
At first glance you can see that its a very nice quality protector... Unlike the +MIMEUSA #GhostGlass I had on my phone previously, this one is flexible glass and not just tempered glass... Both are made of actual glass but the MIME glass is more rigid and doesn't bend much at all... From what I hear, the TruGlass is made from the same material that the Samsung Round and LG GFlex screens are made up of... So its quite flexible but not flimsy like a normal plastic screen protector would be...
*Installation*
Installation was mostly easy because I followed the directions even the hot shower to grab any loose dust lol... When installing, its probably best to peel back the whole plastic film on the application side and reattach it about 2/3 or 1/2 to the glass... This will help you center it easier w/o having to lift it off once the glass is down... once its on there, the bubbles are easily squeezed out with some light pressure to each area with them... Installation done and you're ready to enjoy
*First Impressions of it installed*
I was immediately not happy with it and I'll tell you why... I have self-diagnosed OCD and I like for things to line up perfectly... This is why I prefer Cruzerlite vinyl skins and their precise fit as opposed to DBrand skins which leave huge gaps on the edges and even side pieces… But my main gripe with this protector was that it didn’t go all the way to the top/bottom/left/right edges… I contacted Cruzerlite and they assured me this was intentional to ensure perfect fit with their cases… I was initially not happy with that answer considering I’m a minimalist person who doesn’t like cases covering up the beauty of my phone… Then I decided to actually try them with their cases and placed the order to which they shipped REALLY fast considering nothing really happens on the weekend for most businesses…
*Impressions with Cruzerlite TruGlass + Cases*
WOW, such a great fit and makes perfect sense with the way the glass is cut… No issues installing the cases and its a very nice/snug fit on the phone…
*Final thoughts*
I’m not as unhappy with the screen protector as my initial impressions and in fact its hardly noticeable without a case on the phone and certainly not noticeable with a case on the phone… I can’t judge on lasting quality but I can say its a great buy if you’re looking for a glass protector that doesn’t have too much added thickness and one that fits well with cases…
*Recommendation*
BUY IT NOW!!! lol http://goo.gl/WZU9ua
On with the pics of this all
Oh and the one shot of just the glass with a brown background shows a lines up comparison of #TruGlass vs #GhostGlass

Does it protect against a drop or something? I can't see this piece of glass preventing the screen from shattering.

Flexible glass ?? Couldn't find any endurance/drop test reviews. So I'm doubtful on their ability to provide shatter protection for the screen if dropped. Personally I think a good tempered glass protector or something like a Rhino Shield would be a much better option for $30.

true but its still glass lol... did you see the video of the LG G-Flex literally bending flat? that's also glass and it bends... did you see that new Samsung TV that bends at the push of a button?
point is, just because it bends doesn't mean it doesn't provide protection...

Here is a video review of truglass
Mine arrived in the post yesterday, I fitted it today.
This thing is certainly a premium product, it feels and like there's not even a screen protector fitted. Only if you look carefully by the ear piece you can see it. Its so smooth and its really nice to touch, slightly expensive but we will see how it fairs against the test of time. I used an invisisheild before I don't think I'll be using those again, its a floppy sticky bit of plastic.
My only small gripe with this is there a few tiny tiny air bubbles I can't seem to get out with the squeegy and I can't see any dust particles in there. Il try and add a photo later

Has anyone used these without a case? I'm wondering if the edges are less prone to chipping if they don't go all the way out to the edge of the phone

Same here. I'll be interested if I can use a glass and be case free? Do these glass protectors protect from the main glass actually breaking?
