Need Help Rooting Tablet

I am asking for help rooting the new tablet i got. I rooted my droid incredible and love it even more since. I want the same for the tablet. I have looked around for some answers but cant seem to find the anything to help me.
If you could also give me a good ROM to start off with I would greatly appreciate it.
I cant post the link however if you search the following you can find the one i bought to be clear
"M009 Google Android 2.2 7" Tablet PC Computer Netbook"
Key Features
Type Tablet PC
Display Size 7in (17.78 cm)
Hard Drive Capacity 2 GB
Operating System Android 2.2
Internet Connectivity Wi-Fi
I put a 8 gb micro sd card in.
I have the offical market app installed, however no super user access. Any advice would be appreciated.
Have you tried the usual rooting methods? Such as rageagainstthecage, Gingerbreak, Superoneclick, etc?
However, rooting won't do much on the way of custom ROM's, there would have to be an active dev community supporting that device. However, you will be able to get super user access, to freeze apps, etc.

Download the Sony Update Service and flash your phone with that software. It's easy to use, run it and you will see all the instructions
Sent from my LT18i using xda app-developers app
Did you get an error message on flashtool or did it just stop? If there was a message post it, if not retry with flashtool, it should still work even if the phone appears dead
Bro,I am new to xda.I've got one of this lt15i.Its on stock 4.0.4/4.1.B.0.587 and unlock bootloader says yes.
Does everyone here need to download Android SDK prior to flashing or rooting their devices? And when one does download the android SDK and run it on pcx64 it prompts to download java as well. Now I've got to files. So I double click on SDK and keeps prompting to download java. How do we overcome this as I believe it a must have application to connect both pc and device.I am stuck with these two downloads not knowing what to do next.
If there was a way kindly open a thread for newcomers to go into a post on how to get started on pc and then their device.
Thank you.

Hello, before I begin, I just want to thank you for your post is actually what finally gave me the final push to get an account here at xda. I know how it feels when you can't get a quick reply, or even worse, when you end up resorting to trial and error and brick your phone. So, I decided to create a new account to help people stuck in similar situations as well as to relieve the more experienced members of some of their load. Answering the same old questions can get pretty boring haha.
To answer your questions:
1) No, you will not require SDK if you're only seeking to root or flash your phone. Though, I have read some guides where they recommend you do so because you can also get the required usb driver files from there, though this is also not necessary.
2) I'm not too sure about your problem with Java, however, you do need to get it fixed because it is required for certain applications like flashtools. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. I used to have similar problem with Java, albeit for other programs. Perhaps one of the more experienced members around would be of more help if the problem persists.
To end off, I'd just like to express that I do agree with your final sentiments. I also started on my android journey alone, and it was a bit of a hassle figuring stuff out, especially after I unlocked my bootloader and couldn't rely on SEUS to save my ass. Well, feel free to ask if you have any questions. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to explain some details in an easier-to-understand manner.

[Q] [Sprint - SPH-L520] Need some pointers.

Hello everyone,
I recently signed up for a new Sprint contract and got a free Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (Sprint model -- SPH-L520) however, everything I can find relates to rooting the GT-I9195 and GT-l9190. All I want to do is root it to be able to run apps that require root, I don't necessarily need a custom ROM loaded on it.
I do know some programming, though the languages I know probably wouldn't help much for this, and consider myself an advanced user of many desktop and server operating systems (Windows, Linux, some BSD). Although I am new to Android I'd like to give it a shot, if it's not too far out of my reach.
I'm really just looking for good starting guides and some tips from the pros. I've done a lot of Googling and researching on these forums but I haven't really found any guides that starts from scratch. I'm am willing to take the time to learn even if it takes a while.

Do you know where I can find the software to install CWM recovery for Galaxy S4 mini SPH-L20?
Please advise
I know this may seem redundant, but make sure you have the correct Samsung drivers installed (reinstall them and restart your pc). Make sure your PC recognizes your phone in debugging mode.

Hi, im a new member to this forum and im actually tryna find some help on how to root my xperia S (lt26i) phone. Im running the 4.1.2 version and although i found some guides, they are all made with different ways. I need some help on how can i root the phone because i have completely no idea about this stuff. Could someone show me a newbie way to do it? I havent done any change/configuration to my phone ever, i only typed a code on my dialpad and i found out that its "allowed" to root my phone. I suggest You read up those terms first and then root. Even just searching those terms on Google and xda would do a lot good.
Download iroot >> www.iroot.com/
Install to pc
In Mobile allow > usb debugging (Setting>developer options>)
Connect with usb cable
Click root
Done
Try to root program like last comment also you can use kingo root. If it does not work, first you should check your firmware version.
generally Xperia S devices has 6.2.B.1.96 firmware version. This version has a problem with root and you can find how to root this version form xda
I used iroot and I says I've successfully rooted my phone. But it seemed very easy, is this a real root or I need something more?

Working on a root method for the SM-N900V. Where do I start?

First of all, I'll tell you my sob story and see if anyone else had my issue but found a solution somehow: I have a marvelous Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900V running the long-ago leaked 5.0 OB6 firmware that I got from some XDA thread that I now cannot find for some reason. I became one of many that is stuck in this dilemma, and it's still frustrating the hell out of me. Mind you, I'm only 15, but I'm very skilled with programming computers and such, plus I have quite a bit of experience with Android modding entirely.
I am tired of waiting for some dev to figure out a method, so I'm just going to do it myself. The only problem is that I have no experience with this kind of work. Here's my question(s):
What software do I need to start my work? (I already have Android Studio if that helps.)
How would I even begin to find an exploit? What kind of research do I need to do?
What are the risks of doing this? Can I brick my phone doing this?
Is this legal? (haha)
Yes legal...Arabic tool for Windows and run program hook phone up click of1 or ob6...click phone status let it go then root....must be sm-n900v Verizon 5.0. ...wait til reboot bam rooted....
