Case-mate tough case, not out yet?

On their eu site it shows the case and I like what I see. Looked around and it appears that its coming soon. I was wondering if anyone knew about availability? I have an inquiry in and will report back if it hasn't already been dug up and reported here.

I don't have any news but thanks for sharing that link. I've been looking to see if Case-Mate was preparing any cases yet for the SG2.

Have you had one previously? I'm running a siedio case right now that I really like. It is a hard rubbery feeling outside that gives some grip but it doesn't collect lint or get stuck in pockets. This is what I'm looking for.

Yes I did. I liked it, nice looking, not too thick and had a nice solid feel to it when you grasped the phone. It slide in and out pretty easily and didn't pick up stuff from my pockets.

I'm going to try out the Barely There case for now... I've had those before too. Not nearly as protective but I'd rather try one of these out than some of the odd stuff we are seeing so far.

I ordered some gel cases from Deal Extreme that still haven't shown up yet - a little worried using my SGS II without a case (it's a bit slippery). I like the look of the Case-Mate barely there or Safe Skin - will pick one up in London week after next (I'm sure CPWH will have them...)

Case-mate has responded to my email this morning. They expect to have them available to the public in two weeks.

I always use the case-mate tough case on a of my phones, andhave one on pre order from mobile den, cpwh will bedding then for around £25 and the barely there will be much cheaper but to me does not provide grip or good protection.

I purchased this http://www.case-mate.eu.com/samsung-galaxy-s-2-gelli-case-clear.html and the screen protector that shipped with it is totally the wrong size and has no hole for the home button. it is too short and too narrow almost a galaxy s screen protector with no hole for the home button. I checked 3 different carphone warehouse and they are all the same. I emailed case mate and was told they knew the screen protector didn't fit but just use it anyway.
Really disappointed in the company. No reason at all this should be sold like this. The case is very nice however but at £13 its not cheap if you have no screen protector

I dont use screen protectors, hate em. Nevertheless I don't like the sound of an outfit shipping a piece that to my mind would be useless and not what was represented. What is your feelings on the fit of the case itself in regards to the cut outs and so on? Overall quality? Value?

This is now available on amazon uk, I have one on the way so I will post up with my impressions after I have it in hand.

yeahi noticed on the seller, i thought itd have a color choise on one item not separets lol

Will probably pick one up. The cool thing about ordering from Hong Kong is usually it takes so long you forgot you ordered it...and when the package arrives, its like christmas

Probably hasn't been long enough for anyone to get these, but they look great. They look to be a good alternative to the ruggedized back cover from Moto. It looks to me like this might work with the docks if the the sleeve is taken out, kind of like with the Moto covers. Anyone care to confirm or speculate with me?

Has anyone received this yet? Can we see some photos?

I received mine today, although cannot take pictures since I need something other than my Atrix to do that. But, it fits in car dock with the small plate on the dock removed. It is a tight fit but it fits and the clamp closes, unlike the Incipio case. Just because of that this instantly became my favorite case.

Fans of blurex and poetic folio cases may want to try this

With all the case talks I thought it was worth mentioning as I have used the same style on many tablets and have had a lot of success. I expect this to be essentially the same as the blurex and poetic models. kind of an early heads up as it takes time from china but mine has shipped and seems legit compared to some of the questionable sites floating around

Thanks that's exactly like the Moko case I right now I have for my iPad air. The case is really good I just don't like ordering stuff from China since it takes so long. I may look for a US seller or give it a go if I can't find another seller.

These are good if a bit bulky. I do not like it when they put stylus loops on cases. It's ugly and catches when you put the tablet into a bag or pocket.
It looks in one of the pictures like the camera hole does not align?

I think the tablet was in upside down in that picture. In the others it appears to align OK.

roanoke texas. i thought someone might want it. i didnt open it but it looks identical to the ones on amazon for other tablets. at 15 i will lose a bit with the shipping charges but i would rather someone here enjoy it.

[Q] Leather Back cover to replace plastic

I bought the G4 with plastic back, thinking that I can eventually replace the back with a leather one for less than the $40 difference. So far, I have been unable to find a leather back cover for less than that. The cheapest OEM LG cover on ebay is $60. Crazy right?
Anyway, I am sure as time goes on, there will be more and cheaper options.
Meanwhile, if anyone knows of one, please post here. Again, I am looking to replace the plastic back cover with leather, not applying a leather protector case on top. With G4 slightly larger than G3, I find it really bulky and ugly to add anything to it. I will most likely just use it naked with a screen protector.

Mobile Fun has brown and black for pre-order for $50. I think over at AC someone posted that LG might officially be releasing leather backs as early as tomorrow.

An LG rep told me that they will be selling leather cases starting Monday.

I have the deep blue verizon variant and I ordered the red leather and the yellow leather.
I know the yellow could get dirty, but I'll only use that on certain occasions.

I didn't like the leather cases. Plus I use a case to protect the sides. So relevant. I got the white back. I love it.

So they're doing 2 cases for the price of one, but I only want one case. Anyone (who doesn't mind getting a Verizon model*) want to go in with me? I'll get two cases, and send you one for half of what I pay plus whatever it costs me to ship it to you. (Bonus if you're in the Chicago area and we can do this in person.)
*LG asks for carrier. I'm guessing that just means some kinda branding, but it's barely possible that brand has something to do with how the case fits. I'm on VZW so I'll be specifying that on the cases when ordering.

Personally I think I will still hold out for the $10 price point. But it's nice to see a quick drop in prices on these...

Very interested to hear what you think of it. My completely uninformed guess was that LG's would be higher quality. But I'd love to be proved wrong.

The fabric cases have been discounted on Google's Store.
Most are out of stock with delivery at 3-4 weeks.
Does anyone know anywhere in the UK that has the Cement case in stock?
I'm buying phone as a gift for wife and want cover, but don't want to have to wait weeks.

Not fancy the midnight one? Carphone warehouse also stock the cases, but you'll need to search on Google for Google Pixel 2XL fabric case as if you try and find them on the website you can only find the smaller cases.

Thanks for your offer, but the shipping costs to UK would make it too expensive.
It's currently £28 in UK (approx 37.78 USD) They're also currently 35USD on Google's store in US .
I'm looking for either someone in the UK, or a UK store that still has stock.

I would also like to order the cement one for the non XL Pixel 2 I'm in Portugal, though. If someone find a link not expensive please share

That's what I have, I like it a lot. The blue accent power button is a nice touch. You won't be disappointed.

How is it regarding being slippery and getting stains?

I'm also interested about sliperiness (is that even a word? Not my native language).

I find the grip to be perfect. I have the Cement and it picks up the dye from my jeans pretty easily, but I like the look of it after it's done so. I got a black spot on it so I washed it with some soap and hot water and let it air dry. It looked brand new again until I put it back in my pocket.

I'm seriously thinking about returning my fabric case, I feel that the phone its more slippery than without it!

That's a shame.
I've bought that one as well, used on ebay, let's hope I don't feel that way also. I'm using the Ringke Fusion Clear TPU Case and it's a very good TPU Case, lots of grip and protection and only costs 12 bucks. But it sure dosent look as premium as the Google fabric ones...

So far so good. It's less slick than a naked phone, but not super grippy.

But the looks and feel make up for it, right? Otherwise I'll stick with my Ringke Fusion Clear TPU Case, which I am loving so far.

I don't know why this case is so expensive, but it's a nice case. I got the carbon one and don't find it slippery...
