Note3 S-pen has exchangeable tip, I presume it's way better than the wobbling fixed tip of the note2 S-pen.
Or even better, does the note3 S-pen fit into note2's pen slot ? I know the chance is grim but if it does it's gonna be great.

Does it possible to use S-Pen on Galaxy Note on Galaxy Wonder?
I really love the way Galaxy Note edit picture and document.
Hopefully we can use the S-Pen and S-Memo on Wonder.
Many thanks to anyone who can make it possible :thumbup

I haven't been able to find what exactly an S Pen is, since everyone seems to think it's obvious enough to not state it directly, but if it's just a pen you can write with on a capacitive screen... this one works fine without waiting for CM9.

S pen, stylus that came with gal note...
wacom makes the stylus and the sensor...because of this I don't think our device can use the stylus
Stylus has small tip so it's more accurate than conventional stylus...

I heard that Samsung already open their code for it.
So we can use original stylus to make it like S Pen on Samsung Android.

I really would like to see our Wonder able to use the S Pen tech but it would be pointless to draw on a small screen. Cheers

It doesn't matter for me.
My concern is how we could use the S Pen for editing notes.
For drawing, I prefer to use my laptop
Like I said before even if we have the codes, but don't have the sensors then it means nothing...like if you use wacom bamboo but you are using intuos pen

Does the Note's S Pen work with the Galaxy S3?
Nope, s-pen is an active digitizer. There isn't the same tech/hardware in the g3 as there is in the note

Go on eBay and search Galaxy S3 stylist, and you can get one that works for the S3. The price range is $. 99 to $29.99. They have some almost identical to the Notes S pen, for one just like that you are looking at around $29.99

There is nothing for the S3 that will be comparable to the S-pen on the note. The C-pen is decent, but it's not going to be as precise, or responsive as the S-pen.

The c pen is definitely more accurate than the ball stylus pens due to the slim tip so you can actually see where you are writing. The only problem with the c pen is that it will occasionally not register as touching the screen.
I bought one because I take a lot of notes using S memo and I had an extra $20 bucks laying around lol. So if you can spare the cash I would reccomend it over the ball stylus pens but just know that it will only work for the s 3
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Either that or i'd just get an Adonit Jot stylus....
I just use one of the ones that have a rubber ball at the end.
C-pen didn't work out for me, because it's design a little bit fat. I guess, that's the only way to have stylus is to buy Galaxy Note Series . And also they have wacom grid, which can sense pressure.
good info

C pen is so expensive. How little are you really gonna be clicking? S3 doesn't have the special touch screen built in like the note so the pen gets bigger or smaller from how hard you press anyway. Any cheap stylus will work great. I got a laser, flashlight, chrome pen, and stylus in one for like 6 bucks at Monoprice. Works better than I dreamed.

At least now I can give a mini review. It works great as a pen and I use it whenever I have to sign something. Stylus tip still works fine and always has no problem with responsiveness. Only thing that sucks is the flashlight and laser died fast. It's all chrome and black so it still looks nice, but I have no idea how to put a new battery in. I even called and asked them, but how they said to do it was still impossible.
Just a heads up, I've tested three Wacom Styli with my Sprint Galaxy Note 2 and each one works perfect. In fact the digitizer in the galaxy note has built in functionality for the eraser and 2 button stylus that Wacom uses on the Intuos2 tablets. You can find these on websites usually cheaper then the Samsung ones. All my tests have shown the other styli to be very accurate
Note that I've only tested a Wacom Intuos 2 and Lenovo Thinkpad X series with built in Wacom stylus, I don't have any 3rd party models to test.
Love the use of common technologies. :good::good:

The S-Pen on mine Note 2 doesnt seem to "click" in place. It seemed a bit loose to me at first, but I tried my hubbies N2, and it was the same looseness/feeling.
It isn't 'loose' by any means and it wouldnt fall out by itself. Just slides in and out easily.

I actually have a question about its tip. The end tip looks like a little loose in mine so when it touches the screen the tip gets into the pen. I am not sure it is defective. Please check yours to see if the tip is firm and not moving in and out. Thanks.

The tip going in and out is how the pen can detect the level of pen pressure you place onto the screen. It's the same design as a wacom drawing tablet (which is where Samsung went and got their digitizer technology from).
Is this pen's fit will become loose if you use it too much? I am kinda afraid to use alot.

Does your guys pen require more pressure to operate compared to the note 2? On my note 2 I barely had to touch the screen, but the note 3's pen requires much harder pressure before it starts working. I even tested the note 2's pen on the N3's screen and it worked just fine. So it's gotta be the pen. Does anyone else have this experience or is my pen defective?

Mine has this problem too. It was normal when I first got it, but now it requires more pressure to work. I think its normal, so I'm not going to bother exchanging it.
There's an option in settings to increase the sensitivity, see if that helps.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe on the Note 2 you could adjust the sensitivity on the pen itself somehow. I never needed to adjust anything so I'm not sure. I assume the note 3 would be the same way.
Edit: Yeah here's the thread on how to do it.
