Show "Recent Apps" randomly without pressing HOME button for several seconds
I've just run LG Flashtool, flashing DLL and TOT (v10K) for my F240L.
After that, FACTORY HARD RESET (pressing Power and Vol. Down for several seconds).
Without Micro SIMcard and SDcard inserted, I'm doing basic setting (brightness, ringtone, animation, roaming).
Suddenly, "recent apps" shows without being told (pressed HOME button for several seconds). I have to press back, to eliminate "recent apps"
But after that, "recent apps" shows again, this time randomly and more often.
So basically, my phone is still fresh after flashing (not rooted and no CWM installed).
Is there a fix to this ?
Below are the screenshot.
Any opinion is highly recommended.
try to unplug the battery and hardreset again .. if it does'nt work .. possible bug in the rom
sorry for my bad english :crying: CMIIW
It doesn't work.
Any more ideas ?

I'm useing haret 0.5.2 on wm65, polaris. This situation dosent appear every time.
I found there's a rule:
When I hit button RUN, if the system reboots immediately after about 3 sec and starts to scroll white text, and then I hold the button right after I see the text, I can enter the system menu.
BUT, if the system reboots after about 30 sec, however and whenever I hold he button, it dosent work.
Somebody can kindly help me through this problem?
BTW, can I use old version of haret, eg. the version that without RUN button, to run Android 2.1?
---------------- update 20100625 -------------
Still nobody replys~~~~~~~~
BUT I've figured it out myself.
I found that it might have something to do with the file zImage. If I get a proper zImage, I can see the boot menu every time. U can have a try if u r facing the same problem.
And for the second question, the answer is NO.
Me too, sometime I cannot get into boot menu by pressing D-Pad button, but I can use volume up (right softkey) button instead.
I'm using NAND and I think it's because of the nbh file.

Happened to me once when I did a factory reset. I got pissed because I couldn't go into download mode to fix it. So while on this screen I just pressed the hardware keyboard buttons, trying any combination I could. It miraculously rebooted and problem was gone.
Problem SOLVED
How?
the problem is actually really stupid design of the screen after flashing new firmware.
As you all know gt-i5510 is a sliding qwerty keyboard phone.
I was able to go up with "left arrow" and down with "rigth arrow",
I hit "home" button, didn't work
I hit "ok" on keyboard, didn't work
I hit "enter" on keyboard didn't work.
Guess what,
LEFT SHI(F)T key worked.
I selected "reboot" option and decided to try any key,
when I pressed "left shift" it did the job, selection activated and reboot happened.
FW update done !!!

That might have been the button I pressed. lol
Glad you sorted it out.
I'm having a problem with my new Note 4. After a reboot something gets stuck. The Wifi hangs checking the status of connection and my power button will not turn the screen off. Eventually it times out, the boot sequence finishes, and everything works normally.
I factory reset the phone and everything was normal for a couple days but now it's doing it again. I've tried uninstalling a few of the more recently installed apps but it hasn't helped.
What I have discovered is that if I force close the "IMS Framework Service" it immediately completes the boot sequence.
Can anyone help me track down a) what the source of this hangup is? and b) what the down side of killing the IMS Framework Service might be?
THanks

Hi dude,
If you push on start button for a long time, do you have any vibration ? If not, did you try to start in recovery mode again (start button and volume up ?).
Hi,
I got a little annoying problem that I can't seem to get fixed.
I don't get any vibrations whenever I get a notification apart from Whatsapp and Instagram.
So Mail, Snapchat, ... nothing.
Notification sound does work though!
But I got some more information which might help troubleshooting.
I use Lightflow because I don't want to have the LED except on very certain apps and I disabled these really annoying Banner notifications completely with the ADB command "heads_up_notifications_enabled 0"
I am pretty sure that I had working vibrations before the ADB thing but I don't see a real connection between Banners and Vibration especially because WhatsApp works correctly, just everything else doesn't.
I tried this solution but it didnt work:
Code:
Go to Setting -> Apps, click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner and select "Show system apps"
Scroll down and click on "BadgeProvider" app
In app properties, click on "Storage", clear both the Cache and Data.
Shut down the phone and following the directions below to "wipe cache partition".
Wipe cache partition
Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
When the Android logo displays, release all keys ('Installing system update' will show for about 30 - 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe cache partition.”
Press the Power key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight “yes” and press the Power key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
Press the Power key to restart the device.

Unrooted
ADB: Changed Banners and Ran the bxActions thing
I hope someone has an idea.
Thanks
EDIT: Okay it's solved. Apparently the mail program decided to switch the vibrations off by itself randomly and in Snapchat it was my stupidity to overlook the settings. Nevermind then
