Any one got screens shots for this rom

Excuse me if this seems out of place or should be in a different section.
Does this ROM address correcting the wifi mobile data hand-off issue in 4.3. Or does that issue no longer exists? I have been on a 4.2 ROM for a few weeks b/c I like having not having to manually switch between wifi and data.

Vanir for the S3?! Woooooooah!
Looks like there's some bugs to be worked out but I can't wait to run this. Been using it on my Nexus 7 as my daily driver for a while.

This is what happened to me when I flashed. Signal would come and go and the error would keep popping up every time I clicked ok.
Hope this gets sorted because I love Vanir on my Nexus 7.

[ROM] - [12/24/2011] - MikRunny v1.01 - [ Sense 3.5 | 2.3.5 | Tweaks | Odex/Deodex ]

Ok guys this rom is something that was in the plan for a long time and its finally done.
This rom is based off of HTC Runnymede 1.05.401.4 with Sense 3.5 and GB 2.3.5. This is the initial release and there will be future updates as needed.
Right now we haven't tested on all the devices, but we confirmed Vivo W, Inspire, and Incredible S are working.
A really big thanks goes out to Cappychimp and RC-Team for a lot of the added tweaks and multidevice zip, and to romanbb for the original tweaks.
This ROM supports Desire HD (also Telus), Desire S, Desire Z, Inc 2, Inc S, Inspire 4G and myTouch 4G (again, thanks to rc team)

- Over all bug fixes and a few extra features that should have made it to v1.0, but didnt.
- Full wipe might be needed... i always wipe... if u guys have luck without wiping, let everyone know.

We are also looking for experienced testers and/or devs to help us further develop this rom on all devices... so feel free to contact aamikam or newtoroot.

Sorta understood it ...so one breaks the rom up, faster boot times and the other keeps it together, longer boot times. That's what I understood so odex is better

good one... didnt see that one before i think...
i do want to add one thing from my experience with odex roms and mods/themes/etc.
as long as a theme did not include any smali edits in it... it is 100% same as theming odex... most themes usually only mess with images/layouts/xmls in the apk... so most themes will work.
i never understood why deodex became the norm for most of the devs since u can do everything on either one.
i like it cuz it saves me room in data partition and to me always feels like everything is loading faster (although loading should be same).

The phone locked up on me when trying to get into tweaks. I did a full wipe prior and formatted /system.

The debloater completely removes them? Or just freezes them?
Cool feature by the way
Tweaks do not lock up for me, no problems for me.
Smooth and fast. Thanks

Ha, not another Rom ever again?
It is nice though. Camera doesn't work and none of the other camera mods floating around other thrads are working either. Thoughts?
Edit: I think the camera mods don't work because I'm on the odex version. I'm gonna test the deodex version and report back.

Correction, the phone doesn't lock up, settings gets an FC when I try to open tweaks. Also, HTC sense for Facebook doesn't authorize,I press ok and it just keeps popping up the prompt. The ROM is lightning fast,I am running the deodexed version.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using xda premium
If I'm in settings and press tweaks, it force closes. Tried fixing permissions, restarting. Anyone have a fix?
Update. You might want to add something to the op
Camera gives black screen. To use a camera mod, you have to use the deodex version.

So far so good. I left everything stock after the install, and everything I use works great. I had to toggle bluetooth twice to sync with my car dock, but otherwise very smooth and responsive

Its not straight AOSP like a Nexus 4 but it is AOSP. It has some features from CyanogenMod and others but its kept to a minimum. Feels like a tricked out Nexus 4 to me honestly.

Super Smooth
Have to say out of all AOSP type ROMs, my experience has been terrific with this one. My only issue was initially having apps such as Gallery seeing my files on my 64Gb Sandisk SD card which is partitioned with a second EXT2 partition I have used with International ROMs that support apps to SD. But those Roms as nice as they are are so bloated that even with transferring apps to SD using Link2SD app in conjunction with my EXT2 partition, that I still could barely squeak out 1GB free space Internal Memory. Even with upwards of 150 user apps installed, I still have just under 9GB free !!!!
I basically installed a Gallery app that allowed me to point to SD Card1. Then automagically the built in Gallery app recognized the location of all my various jpg folders and Music folders. Weird that Root Explorer could see my SD card with no problems, but I had to still install an app (FStop) that would manually point to the SD card1 location. If this is a known issue with CM/AOSP, then my bad. Just stating what my only issue here was. Great ROM!!!

Thanks back. One weird issue just popped up. The menu button at times is non responsive at times bringing up the settings options. Long press always works. A reboot takes care of the issue, but it is happening with a bit more frequencies lately today. Not sure if it's related to any of the customizations using the Vanir app. Any recommendations of where to look would be appreciated. Of course I can't make it NOT work right now
EDIT:....OK...menu button non responsive after opening message app, posting and then going back to home screen. NOT blaming the message app. Only stating what I just did to have menu button not work.
Nice nice nice fast and volume tweak man!!!

[ROM][t0ltetmo] Vanir 4.3.1 Nightlies

TeamVanir presents
VANIR
Yeah, it's got a HEMI.
Based off of AOSP Jelly Bean 4.2.2, with original modifications, as well as kangs from Linaro, CodeAurora, CyanogenMod, AOKP, EOS, Slim, and our belly buttons.

There's really no reason too. Lol, its AOSP. So, basically stock look.

I'm going to download and flash this tonight, maybe tomorrow morning latest. Anyways I went to the gapps link you provided and don't know which ones to download. Some say "don't brick your phone alpha" or something of that nature... I'm kinda hesitant to flash that, am I completely missing something or maybe just being paranoid??

Oh, I apologize for that. It seems that DHO's links are linking to something weird. O_O, lol. Download the one above that. (Nuke's nightlies). And as for the Gapps, its linked to the correct one? But, i'll definitely be taking down DHO's links for now to stop from confusion.

There was a couple of things I ran into in the short time I had it going. In settings -> about phone, the very bottom line (I forget what it says, something like TELinux or SELinux) I tapped on that a few times and it instantly threw my phone in a bootloop. I honestly don't know why I even tried that to begin with. Then after I pulled the battery I tried to go into recovery by holding the volumes and power button and it would just reboot normally. I might have brought these on myself though because I doubt I let it sit long enough, I was excited to flash something different and jumped the gun. I had to nand back to a previous for the night but I will definitely try to give it another go tomorrow if I have time. It does seem promising!!

Was that the first thing that you went after when you installed the rom? If not, how was the performance on it? I haven't tried the rom yet cause my internet has been acting up today. Do you think there was anything else wrong with it?
Hella smooth rom!
The only problem i'm having is Titanium Backup won't install any of my apps. It just freezes on the install.
(Even after changing the preferences to Legacy and etc.)
That's really the only deal breaker for me = /

Disregard my last reply yo this thread. Everything is working perfect!
I some how tapped SELinux in About phone and it changed the setting to "Enforcing" when it is supposed to be "Permissive".
Apps installed just fine. Thanks for putting in the word. :good:

Welcome to VanirAOSP.
Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android with subtly improved versions of the features you love to as many devices as possible. we've tried to incorporate and improve our features in a way that makes them more cohesive to improve the overall user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality..
What to expect:
- This is not a McCopy ROM. What goes into our build is well thought-out and not a bunch of stuff duck taped together because we could.
- maximum optimization. We do our research. We test hard. We build -fstrict -O3 globally and include a massive array of code optimizations and memory leak fixes that we write ourselves and eventually submit to AOSP or Linaro.
- originality in our source. We generate a lot of new commits being features or general code improvements. We are open source to share and improve the community but we also try to make sure we offer a unique experience.
- aesthetics.. hopefully in your opinion

very interested in this rom, is it all working?
how's the battery consumption ? like cm(very demanding) or more like aosb(very light) ?
can u post some screen ?
Battery life like cm11 beta 9 upwards. Not bad. At night, airplane mode uses 2%.
Call log blank
Art runtime is ok.
As a feeling, a bit slow but smooth.
I mostly miss brightness adjustment by sliding statusbar.
